This is as terrific place to have your car serviced. I recently had the transmission serviced on my Ford Explorer. I also asked for a full synthetic oil change, for which they charged less than several other local places. The work on my car was completed thoroughly and promptly. I was also pleased to hear that theyd done a full safety check; the results of which were explained to me upon pick-up.Everyone with whom I had contact was very polite, their prices are a great value and the office/waiting area was spotless. Wonderful!

Had to have transmission replaced on my truck...guys were amazing and got it done fast. Then I had engine light issue (bad solenoid) the guys literally drove to my work and picked up the truck and returned it with in just a few hours. This is not so much a review of the business but the people there. I was trying to unload a junk car off a tow dolly without any winches or tools, and one of the kind gentlemen driving a lifted Yukon who works at this location stopped and offered to help me. He said he had to clock back in and came back with all kinds of safety chains. Since I was scrapping the car anyway we didnt care about how it came off the trailer, just that it did. Within two minutes this good samaritan had the car off of the trailer and we were on our way. He would not let me pay him (in beer or otherwise) but he just wished me a great day. In todays world it was a nice reminder that good people are still out there. I didnt get his name but I will always recommend people in the area to this business based on this interaction. Aamco transmissions does all our car care st much lower prices than the dealerships. They even reattached my front bumper which had caught on a parking spot cement block. And at.no charge. Wonderful service

We have taken our vehicles to AAMCO in Venice for several years. They are honest and professional.After a bad experience with another repair shop, trying to get work done under an insurance claim, that repair job did not correct the issue and we were right back to where we started.We went to Venice AAMCO. They diagnosed the problem immediately, called the insurance adjuster to have him come and review their diagnosis. The adjuster agreed with their assessment, which was much more involved than the first shop indicated and the repair work was done flawlessly. We’ve had no issues since then.My husband recently took his vehicle in for an oil change and since it has 180,000+ miles they performed a thorough inspection. They provided him with a video that documented everything and explained what was fine and what needed attention. What a great program.We highly recommend Dallas and his staff. They have always been honest and thorough.

Just moved here from Minnesota and had no idea where to go when we discovered a leak on the top of the gas tank. Needed a new fuel pump and lines. These guys not only replaced the pump, they had to replace the tank mounting straps and had to replace a bunch of fuel line. They gave me an Uber ride home to wait and then picked me up after it was completed. When I got the bill I was shocked to find it to be less than the estimate. I’m sure that’s not common but what a pleasant surprise. All through the ordeal they were very professional and easy to work with. I definitely recommend Venice Aamco for your auto repair needs.

Vacationing in the area, a warning light came on in our Ford Explorer and we were hearing unusual noises while driving. Bob at AAMCO had us bring our car right in so they could run diagnostics. Car required a new MAP sensor which they installed while we waited. Arrived at 8:30am and left at 9:30am. Reasonable too. Problem solved and we are very happy customers. Highly recommend!

I called Bob about a leak from my transfer case and came into his shopIm usually very nervous and untrusting of mechanics. But when I came in to have my Ford 2003 Expedition looked at, they told me right away what the issue was and showed me personally.It was a simple connection to the water line going to my transfer case. It was torn, and the tech Walt said he would cut it and extend it no problem.I asked what I owe and he charged me nothing! Honest, reliable, and generous does not do it justice for the amazing service I got with Bob and Walt today at AAMCO.Some mechanic shops they will try and squeeze money out of you and lie. Not this place, they are great honest people!If you have a car issue even beyond transmission or transfer case take it to Bob! He will take good care of you!Dont believe me? I was so afraid when I got a flat tire on the side of the road I don’t even know how to change a tire I slowly drove around trying to find a place and then I saw their sign I went right in they were super friendly and they fixed my tire within 10 minutes even though they were closing up for the day!

Great customer service!! I had taken my car to the dealership because it was hesitating to start. Found out the battery just needed replacing. They quoted me 686 dollars to put one in!! I almost died. My boyfriend immediately called AAMCO to see if there was anything they could do. They were so accommodating and told him to have me bring my Jeep there. It took them 15 minutes and they did it for a little over 200 dollars!! What a difference!! I will definitely be back!! Highly recommended!

Not the first time I have gone to AAMCO and not the first time I have been Satisfied. Had a Tire Need to be Replaced, driving on Spare, and needed a headlight. Able to get them information on Sunday to order the tire and light needed, and was able to get both replaced quickly at a reasonable price. Their Customer Services is very friend and customer oriented. They provide Transportation if needed, and are willing to help make it easy on you. Definitely recommendation worthy!

Bob was a huge help in finding what was wrong with my car. While I left my car at AAMCO, they sent a video diagnostic from under my car to explain exactly what was going on which really helped me understand what needed fixing and why. I couldn’t recommend AAMCO enough! Thank you Dallas and crew!

They are honest. I went in to have my transmission evaluated and they went through their process in a timely manner and concluded that I did not need any transmission work to be done. They found something else that was causing the vibration. It turned out that one of the spark plugs was disconnected from the spark plug wire and when they put that back on the vibration went away and the car road beautifully. Their ability to assess the challenge and figure it out it’s something I put a lot of value on personally. In this case, they save me a lot of money and heartache and headaches. I can’t thank them enough. Thanks guys!

Amazing service! During the stay at home order, they are offering a touchless pick-up and delivery service & were at my house to get my car just 13 minutes after I made the appointment and gave them my address! They used gloves, seat & steering wheel covers, and sanitized everything they touched. What a fabulous service!

Was recommended this shop by my dad. Had new tires put on my car this past Tuesday. The experience overall was great. Service was timely and friendly. The tires I purchased are phenomenal, I bought Toyo, made my Toyota feel like driving a Lexus. Definitely recommend this brand for anyone.

I had a great experience scheduling my appointment with Bob. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I dropped my car off in the morning for an oil change and it was ready by noon. They sent me a text video of the technician going over everything he checked to let me know all looked good. I recommend this location to all, especially women. I was duped last year by the Valvoline attached to the 7 Eleven at 41 and Shamrock. They told me I needed the $85 oil change for my Toyota Corrola. I did not have this problem at Aamco! Thank you!!

I was stranded with a major transmission problem and needed to be on the road the next day..these folks not only got right on it diagnosing, but immediately starting ordering parts..while being stranded they hooked me up with a very inexpensive but nice car to drive till the repair was complete. AAMCO does all the work on my Hyundia that the dealership used to. They do it all EXCEPT for the high prices, the hidden expenses, and the poor quality work. There is no high pressure sales representative trying to get me into a contract that I cannot afford and do not need. There are cookies. And they are home made too. They even told me about a factory upgrade from 2005. They will order the parts and do the work for me. The dealership would do this at a lower price or at no cost, but they always seem to find something else that will cost me $500. Always. I could not be happier with AAMCO. I am lucky to have found someone I can truly trust.

We broke down on the side of the road with our camper in tow. Bob took amazing care of us. We were thrilled. in this day an age of expecting little to no help beyond the minimum this team was amazing!! I had an awesome experience with the Venice Aamco office they had my truck for 24 hours had taken out my old transmission and installed a rebuilt unit and had me back on the road again! Within a few weeks a sensor had gone bad inside the unit that didnt have anything to do with the rebuild so I dropped my truck off once again in thr morning and by the end of the day had my truck back to me at no charge!! I will be using this company for all my transmission needs in the future for sure!!! Thanks Aamco!

On my way to Venice, Florida, seeking refuge and relief from the impact of Hurricane Irma at a nearby hotel, my truck’s transmission malfunctioned. Luckily, I made it to my destination but it was no longer able to be driven. I had noticed the AAMCO just down the street on my way into town and since it was after hours, set up an appointment request on their website. The owner, Dallas Council, emailed me that evening and offered their first available appointment the next morning. He was very friendly and helpful, even offering to have my truck towed to their shop if I ran into any problems with my roadside assistance. They repaired my transmission in a matter of days and offered their available financing options which helped given my situation.The truck is now running like a top and I am more than pleased with the work that AAMCO did at this Venice, FL location. The warranty was a plus, making me confident that the expenditure on an older truck was worth it. Their friendly and honest approach made this automotive repair experience a positive one for me.

I only wish I could give a rating of more than 5 stars... the couple bad reviews must have been from shady competitors or mistaking customers. My service truck wasn’t shifting into park and I assumed it was going to be costly and time consuming to get it fixed. Although I was reluctant to bring it into a national chain shop, I heard good things about Dallas and his shop. Not only did they live up to all the good reviews, they way exceeded my expectations. The problem: two loose bolts in the steering column. Not only did they get me in and out quickly and back to work (thanks Eric!), but Dallas only charged me for a half hour of labor. HORRIBLE....My truck broke down and I had it towed to them. They quoted $2,000....then raised to $4,000 as I stayed days in a motel. THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME MY TRUCK BACK. They finally agreed to install a used transmission so I could drive my truck....a Suburban with 400,000 miles (worth about $3,000 dollars) back to North Carolina.
