Im an author and my most used tool is my computer. Ive dealt with Fixoid for years and have always been treated with respect and valued as a customer. I recently needed a new computer and not only were the prices at Fixoid competitive, but their protection program is dependable. I know from experience that Fixoid will stand behind what ever they sell or repair so I bought with complete confidence. They go the extra mile to insure service and satisfaction!

Second time bringing it in hopefully it gets fixed this time .. never had to go through this much trouble and money to get something fixed and yet its not getting fixed

$130 service fee for anything, and the part they replaced for an xbox one was 100. I found it elsewhere for 40. I could have bought a new console for around the same price. Don’t come here unless you have something you can’t/don’t want to replace

When I arrived the employee and other customer in the store were not wearing masks. I will find somewhere with a mask policy to fix my device.

Nice folks.... attentive to your questions even if youre not computer tech savvy.... had a custom build and they actively source parts needed in cases like that...... straight up with you when it comes to costs and they include a range without a hard sell

I’m never one to write a bad review but I thought this time it was necessary. So I took my custom built PC in for repair that wouldn’t turn on. They did a free check and told me that my power supply was dead and when they plugged theirs in that my PC booted for a second and wouldn’t stay on and that it would be the base fee of $249 to check it in for further diagnostic. And obviously I didn’t because it’s overpriced and all the other shops in Portland charge around $90-100 to diagnose problems with a PC not including cost of parts. But the other shops I called had a 1-2 week turnaround time. So I decided to just buy a new power supply myself and have my friend that helped me build my PC install it. I went over to his house and be put it in within 30 minutes and my PC booted up perfect and has worked ever since. Just felt I had to write this review because I didn’t appreciate the dishonesty. They could’ve told me straight up that all I needed was a new power supply and that’s it and I’d be good to go. But instead they tried to lie and say it wouldn’t stay booted with their power supply so they’d have to check it in for $249 and run further diagnostics. Very unethical business, wouldn’t recommend!

Such a great place to get your phone fixed. Brought in an iPhone 6s to get a screen replacement. I waited inside their shop for them to fix my phone, only took them about 30 minutes. Very pleasant place to be in too. I mean look how great it looks! So vibrant and has such a good vibe here. They even have relaxing music playing. Definitely the most modern shop around in town, and customer service out of this world! Thank you Fixoid!! Im amazed as usual!!

Asked them to do a reballing on a ps3. Would not allow me to talk to tech working on it and didnt return calls. Counter person would not answer questions related to repair. Just said we replaced some parts and nothing changed.

This place is fantastic! Employees are friendly and explain all flat rates and the charges upfront. I came in with a broken screen and dead battery in my iPhone XS Max; I got it repaired at a price that was price matched close enough to other businesses, and the parts were OEM, too! Mark, the manager, came out front when it was super busy, and both employees were engaged with customers in front of me. He showed me some of the services they offer, like the Managed Anti-Virus (which I later purchased) while we waited for a register to free up. Thanks to the #1 Operator Team Fixoid, I left satisfied!

I brought an 8 year old iMac with a messed up hard drive. 7 days later and $480 short my “new” iMac is flying. I am really impressed with their services and I will go back for sure if I need any extra work done.

Took my Mac in because it was freezing up.Flat fee $249. Got it back in about 3 weeks, still froze up. Returned it twice and still have the same problem. All told several weeks and still have the same problem. I asked for a receipt showing what had been done and they told me they would email me one and never followed through.This was brought in before Christmas,was under my wife’s name, Rose Marie Harshman. Was definitely at Fixoid.

John helped me out a ton! I took my Apple Watch in because my band was stuck in there really good, they took it in, fixed it the same day and when I picked it up it was no charge. Very kind workers, very helpful!

Just wow.... This place is amazing. The co-owner, Alex was so friendly and attentive to whatever questions I had in regards to my destroyed Iphone 7s plus. They fixed it in record time (Id say 40 min) and it came out PERFECT, though at first I thought they were giving me the wrong phone, wont lie. Notice how this company only gets 1 or 5 star ratings? That is because they are only good at the most basic of things. I have worked in tech for the past 10 years and can tell you that they over charge for their services / products, their turn around time is slow, and they are only friendly until you question them. I wont be shopping / working with this company ever again and I suggest you dont either.

I will never go to another repair shop again! Fixoid is the best place I’ve found in Clark county that repairs virtually any electronic device (they’re literally open to fix anything, even if they haven’t fixed it before). I braced myself for a rocky, difficult experience when I needed my 2012 MacBook Pro repaired, but John assisted me with patience and honesty, and now my computer is fixed and I’m super happy! The prices are very fair and competitive and customer service was A+. Don’t look any further, just go to Fixoid! I’m going to come back and buy a refurbished laptop in the future for work as well :)

Perfect service, great work! Worth every dollar spent here. iPhone screen replaced. iMac would not boot up and Apple support wasted so much time with me on five different calls and redirected me so many times I drove it out to multiple Apple stores who could not take it or help me even. Highly recommend this local business. Will be back!

I took my my gaming laptop in because it was getting slower and slower and started making a ticking noise. Checked it in for the flat rate and 4 days later they let me know my old hdd was on the verge of being dead. I opted for the ssd upgrade and they performed a miracle and saved my data! So after 3 more days of rescuing my data they call me and let me know it’s ready for me to get it. I get it home and it’s fast as lightning and dead silent! I noticed that they also took the time to clean it up inside and out and I’m just totally stoked! Thank you guys up front for being friendly and having a few laughs and thank you to the techs for fixing my ailing machine! This is by far the best shop I’ve been to and I’m going no where else! Thanks Fixoid Team!!

Very nice and informative people, but too high pricing for services

A wire on my dads metal detector broke and he didnt know how to fix it so he brought it to this place and they fixed it for free! Hes 69 and his hands arent as dexterous as they used to be. Thank you so much for going above and beyond for my dad. He really loves that metal detector.

The Gentleman there were very nice. I have an iPhone X that I have had issues with and they kept my phone for a couple weeks before they thought they fixed it I had it back less than a week and they were more issues so they took it again and kept it for another couple weeks. I ended up replacing my screen because I had had it replaced unfortunately by someone that used a non-Apple product and I was having issues with the screen. All and all Fixoid was unable to fix my phone and we eventually just told them we were done as they had had my phone for over a month. So I paid their $80 labor fee and then when I first got my phone back and they thought it was done my bill was $200 and then I paid the $80 to have a new Apple screen put on. When we told them we were done using their service they ended up refunding us $108. So all in all I ended up paying $350 and got $108 back along with a broken phone. Feeling pretty frustrated.

I had them work on my old laptop to fix the fan and get it a new battery, they did a great job of fixing it, and even updating my operating system without charging anything extra. They are very nice and worked with me, after I took it home we realized it was still having issues with the fan due to a plate causing pressure on it, they took it back and fixed it again, free of charge. They are great people and I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done. I also had 3 old hard drives that I needed to have data recovery done on, and they did that quickly and wonderfully, I am very happy to have my old pictures from my deployment when I was in the Marine Corps, as well as other old letters and things I thought gone for good.

My printer has the same issue as it did when I took it in this PC repair shop as when I picked it up, and my wallet has $50 Less in it.Not recommended.

First trip to the Fixoid store on 117 ave in Vancouver occurred about one and a half years ago. iPhone required a new battery. Charge was reasonable and done professionally. Second trip about a year later phone would not accept charge. They cleaned port on the spot. No charge. Previous two trips involved my wife’s iPhone. Today my iPhone would would not accept charge. Once again went to the store, same thing checked battery and cleaned port. No charge. Works great. Aaron was the rep today. Very friendly and professional.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I had an amazing experience and would like to say a Big THANK YOU to Mark and Aaron!! You guys are AWESOME! I went in to get my screen replaced on my iphone. They could get me in and out in no time. Simple yes but I had dented my frame and these guys went above and beyond to get it back into shape so they could put my new screen on. Not the simple fix they estimated but they stayed open late until they got my phone fixed. I really appreciated it. You guys ROCK!!

Absolutely amazing experience. From the initial welcome message, to the check in period to the repair cost and time frame and everything in between was amazing. Came in to get my iPhone X checked out, i was welcomed and told someone would be out in a minute. A gentleman came out and explained the issue with my phone was indeed a screen and that he can get it repaired within the hour. I decided to do it, and 45 minutes later it was ready for me. The screen was an original apple screen and had a lifetime warranty. Never have i seen a company that offers a lifetime warranty with their repairs. Just so great, to have someone in our community that stands by their work 100%. Thanks again for all your hard work.

I had a iPhone 7 and thought it would honestly never work but they fixed my screen and there is sill water damage in it but I’m so glad I can use it again thanks for fixing it 😩 ( update it’s now broken and I had to replace it with my current iPhone 11 so sadly that phone didn’t last long but oh well lost money on that phone that went down the drain )😩

I needed to update my software on my iMac and install Bootcamp so that I could run both Windows and OS. Found these guys online and the reviews were so good that I decided to give it a try. They were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in getting my computer up and running with exactly what I needed. Felt like I was in good hands and there were no problems. Definitely recommend them for your technology needs.

Great repair place to come for any phone repair. Mark helped me with an iPhone 8 screen replacement. He finished it in around 40 minutes. Install and quality check. I have been using my device for about 5 days, and it is still working great! Thanks Mark and the Fixoid team, you all treated me like family. And for that you gained a customer for life!! I tried to change my iPhone battery myself. Bad idea! Apple makes it very hard to separate the screen from the motherboard, securing the pieces with glue. Then when you have access to the battery it is stuck down with adhesive strips that are totally unnecessary because with the phone back together there is no room for it to move. There are several very tiny screws and three tiny and fragile ribbon connectors. In the past it was much easier, but now I don’t recommend it for a phone like mine, an iPhone 6s Plus. I simply wanted a way to transfer my data to a new phone before trading in the old one. unfortunately my backup was old. Lesson learned (again). I took it to Apple in Portland and they were not even willing to inspect it because they were afraid of the lithium battery. This terrible service response was despite my calling in and describing the problem I had run into before they set up my appointment. I called Fixoid and they were willing to look at it and tell me whether they would be able to replace the battery without any charge before the work was done. Usually they charge for a repair estimate, but in this case, they were willing to take a quick look because the phone was already open. I could tell right away that they were much more service oriented than Apple. They saved me time and expense by showing me where I had damaged a tiny connector. Because of this I would be unable to replace the battery, which was what was needed to get my data. They had no easy way to recover the data, because Apple has set up the data storage to make it very difficult to retrieve in a phone that is not operating. The phone was toast. They were able to take the phone for recycling. If they had been able to change the battery it would’ve cost two thirds what Apple charges. I would go back to Fixoid anytime and would go there first before trying to get Apple to “help” me.

Expect to spend a minimum of 30 minutes here even to ask a simple question or get a screen cover put on, but dont waste your time with the screen cover they are absolutely trash quality. I got one and it went on so poorly they said they would order another one, it went on even worse, they offered me a free case for the inconvenience and said I could get a refund or wait for them to get more from a different source. I chose to wait but after a month of waiting was never contacted, my text was ignored so I stopped in person, they said they had two on order for specific people so if I wanted another I would have to wait (ie they lied about ever ordering more and just hopped I wouldnt come back). I said I was done with waiting, the cover is so bad my phone is very unresponsive, my thumb print doesnt work and now the cover is actually starting to crack at the edges where it didnt get sealed on. I was told that I would have to return the phone case in order to get the refund even though thats not what the original offer was. This is just another attempt to send me away and hope I dont come back. Management is only concerned about the dollar bills and not quality. Very disappointing, this company has gotten a lot of money from me in the past for screen repairs, well Mr. Management you best believe those dollar bills will be going elsewhere in the future.

Absolutely the worst customer service you can imagine. I asked if they would be able to diagnose whats wrong with my phone and provide detailed diagnostic report and they said no problem. After multiple requests to provide me with report in writing, they never did.

Fantastic customer service and repair work. The store is clean, well managed and there are enough professionals to help with whatever your tech needs may be. I had an HP laptop that had been damaged in travel. One side of the hinge didnt close properly. I took it in and they said it needed a new palm rest. Unfortunately HP didnt offer the part for sale. But the repair guys at Fixoid were able to put the laptop back together without the new part and its working like new again! I would highly recommend this place.

Took my Xbox in and was told it will take 3 days and that is fine! 1 week later i call and they say my hard drive is bad ok go ahead and fix it. Another week pass I call and say they need my power supply to test it ok I take to them. 2 weeks later I have to call them for a update on if it was finished or not just for them to tell me they can’t fix it! Why would it take a month to find out you can’t fix it! After all that they promise to refund the 80$ cost you pay up front. I ask about that, and I got to wait for the manager to come! Horrible communication, the young kid that works there makes you feel like the reason they do things Efficiently or communicate properly is your fault! Won’t be going back! As I look at reviews all the 5 stars are from the people who work there

The customer service here is OUTSTANDING. Alex was awesome and they did a great job fixing my phone quickly and for a much more reasonable price than all of the other stores I checked in the area. After having 2 bad experiences at other places (places that shall not be named.. Apple Store!), I think its safe to say that they made a lifetime customer out of me!

Fixoid was able to do a battery replacement on my sons Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. They rushed the order, had it in ahead of schedule, turned around the repair ASAP and my kid was able to use his phone again before we went on vacation (where he was going to need it - Disneyland does a lot through their app now). Great customer service. Pleasant, helpful, proactive, reasonably priced. Will come back again.

Wow! This repair shop is amazing! Tyler, worked with me patiently on setting up my new computer. I had so much stuff to transfer and install back, passwords to reset, new accounts to make and so much more. Tyler worked with me every step of the way. What I paid was half the cost quoted from 3 other places in the area.

Honest people working that ACTUALLY do care about you and your device. Got my macbook fixed here, at better rates than anyone in town and at a much faster time period than anyone. Including APPLE! They had around a 1-3 day period to get it repaired, where as in everyone else in town was around 5 business days, and apple up to even a week. This is definitely the spot to go to. Thank you, you saved the day.

Wouldn’t recommend for iPhone repair they just don’t have the quality parts available to them but charge about as much is Apple would to replace your screen or any other part.

This place doesnt even deserve ONE star. After a long time of saving up money, I bought all the parts for a nice and fancy gaming computer. I brought all the closed boxed items with the hope that a professional would put together this gaming computer and to have the certainty of a 100% well built computer. The problem is: when it was returned back to me, a system ERROR appeared everytime I turned it on. After googling it, I had to myself fix it & installed Windows. (They wanted to charge me the same $90 to install windows like they charged to build the gaming computer) So I myself did it, no problems at all. After everything was installed, the lights inside the case were not connected at all, which they were suppose to. That same day, I sent them a message and until this day I have not received answer (4 days+ waiting).I doubt they would like to fix it without wanting to charge ridiculous amounts, that is I have no intentions to return to that place.In conclusion, if youre looking for a professional service, stay away from there.To the owner: A well done service doesnt deserve any complaints, so if you think youre right just ignore my review. But, Im not satisfied with the service, because this isnt what I expected (I am referring to the fans and case lights, THATS my only complaint)

Went in because my phone wouldnt charge. They cleaned up the charging ports for free, and my phone has been working great since.

Service, service and service. Integrity. I called with a problem that my iPhone was rattling pretty loudly. The young man by the name of Johnny told me to come in and that he thought he could fix it rather quickly. I came in late in the afternoon and he remembered my call and gladly took my phone to the back. He came back after about five minutes and said he had opened my phone and that a few screws were loose inside and that was the rattling sound. He didn’t charge me a dime. He could’ve easily said I needed a costly haptic repair but he didn’t. He could’ve easily charge me for his time and effort to correct my problem. But he didn’t. I deal with clients every day and my work dictates that I have to give service. Many times I go out of my way at my expense to care for a client. It was great to actually have someone do it for me. Thank you Johnny and thank you Fixoid. There will be no other store that I go through when I have a major repair. Keep up the great work.

Initially I was impressed. They got my older PC diagnosed and had a solution in mind within a day. Then the promises started... Itll be done Thursday, itll be done Saturday, oh I promise today (Tuesday), then it was supposed to be done Thursday, now on Friday its still not done. I know that it was an odd case that I brought in, but please... under promise, over deliver. Or at least keep in touch with me if something is going to delay the repair... I dont like being told Itll be done Thursday when a week and a day later I still dont have my PC. Im sure these guys are whizzes with newer systems and mobile devices, and they are all very courteous, I just think the customer service was... lacking.

Excellent customer service. Fixed my wifes I-phone in less than 1 hour. Ended up getting the cracked screen replaced with a tempered glass protection cover installed. They even texted me to let me know the phone was completed. It took exactly 1 hour. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Thank you again for the superb service!

Edited: I initially had a bad experience here but the owner contacted me quite quickly to address my issues and concerns and to solve the problems I encountered. The owner seems to genuinely care about his clients/customers and will work with you. He has maintained very good communication with me despite my deafness (as a post) and has taken feedback better than most businesses. Instead of taking it personally (ok a little but thats understandable and acceptable) he uses it as a way to make his business better which is exactly what its for!will edit further when I get the phone back but the signs are quite positive for a good outcome

My hard drive crashed and I was not able to recover the pictures and videos of my kids when they were babies. I took the hard drive to a few places to try to recover and it was not possible I was told. This place did the job with quality and professionalism. I am impressed and grateful especially to Alex.

I refused to get my 8+ screen fixed for months until I dropped it again and it went too far. Found these guys on google and I am so so glad I did. Quickest and cheapest I have ever come across and really friendly guys. Left my phone with Tyler for 30mins went and got a coffee came back and my phone was brand new again like a miracle! 100% recommend!!

Great customer service! Brought in my 2010 Mac Mini to change my hard drive to SSD. It was done in less then 24hrs for a very good price, and now my mini is so much faster! Will probably last me another 5 years. Will definitely do business with again!

I went to the place a couple of miles down the road first. They jacked up my phone because they didnt actually know how to open it. Fixoid repaired their shoddy work and has provided great support ever sense free of charge unless hardware unrelated to what they fixed had issues.

My overall experience with CompRite has been great! I have been in the Vancouver location multiple times and received excellent customer service and useful recommendations about how to repair and prevent damages to my iPhone, Ipad, and laptop. The technicians there were able to repair a liquid spill to the keyboard of my HP laptop at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend using them.

I came in the store at lease 4 to 5 times and these guys were on it, I bought my first Apple computer Mac Pro the gave me all the upgrades for free and warranty for like 12 month. Keep up the good for guys.

Took my iPhone in there yesterday to possibly sell. Guy who looked at it told me they had to hold it for a few hours to check the phone. Everything heel needed to check could’ve been done in 10 minutes. NEVER go here. They’re incompetent.

Wonderful Service, Great , great Price, Awesome Computers. CompRite FIXOID have built and set up both my home and work systems. They upgraded a laptop which made a world of difference...set up an external backup so I can sleep well at night knowing my data is secure...linked my work computer to my home computer so I can remote in when needed...and each of these services were done in a timely manner and a very fair price. I will come back to them for any computer issue or need I may have in the future.Thank you !

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Came into fixoid a couple of days ago and asked Nick if they had 2 Serial ata cables. He said they did, and sold me two for a reasonable price. As it turned out they were the wrong type of cable. When I went in there today to return them with receipt in hand and the cables in original condition. They refused to give me my money back. They share in the blame for giving me the wrong type of cable. Granted I should have looked at the ends of them to be sure, but I figured they knew what they were doing. If you dont mind being stolen from. This might just be the place for you

Over the weekend a friend dropped my iPhone 6 and completely shattered the screen. I spent 4 hours at Apple just to find out they wouldnt replace the screen because of the liquid sensors (even though my phone worked fine). Thank God for the awesome people at Fixoid- they fixed my screen in less than half an hour and it looks perfect and cost just a little more than Apple charges. Next time Im going straight to Fixoid.

Around November I broke the screen on my Asus Rog 512gb phone. I went several places and no one was able to fix it or get the screen that i had seen listed online. They all recommended Fixoid as my only option. I went there and they quoted me what seemed to be a pretty fair price.Unfortunately everything after that failed to meet expectation.They repaired the phone near the quoted amount of days but when i payed for the phone i realized that the logo light on the back of the devices was not working correctly it seem misaligned. I brought it back in the next day and they took it back apart and stated that a piece was missing that had lost during the screen replacement. They tried a few things but ultimately ended up ordering a part from china.Fast-forward to the end of December.They call me and said the phone was ready. I Arrived the phone was dead so it was put on a charger and once i could power it one i realized that light hat NOT been fixed and was exactly the same as it was a month and prior but that the phone had many tool marks and scratches around the sides and two scratches on the back glass.The employee sent me away to call a manager and they called me after a time and offered to replace the phone with a newish phone. It arrived I came in and looked it over it was a in very good shape. So I left happy but...The following day i realized they had given me the 128gb version of the Asus Rog I and NOT the 512gb version i had brought them.To be quite honest Ive just had enough of dealing with them and this phone saga.

Im technical enough to know the fan on my macbook air had a problem, but didnt want to hassle with it. took it to authorized apple service center bestbuy, but they only do phones. you cant call and ask, cuz no one ever answers down there. batteries plus? nope. we only do batteries.so finally i go to fixoid, tell them my problem, he takes a listen, goes in back while i chill a few minutes. he comes back, and says check it now. no more rattle. something was partially blocking the fan. how much? waved me off, but if it happens again, well need to put in a new fan, and tells me how much.like and old fashioned cobbler! i will for sure be back when i need something fixed.

This place is a big SCAM!! Dont be fooled by their FAKE 5 star reviews! Went in to get a phone screen repaired and the price was 3-4X times more then competitors in town! I didnt understand why but they explained to me that they have the best parts around. Anyways didnt get my phone repaired but came back later to buy an OVERPRICED and AFTERMARKET Computer charger. After I went home the charger didnt work for me whatsoever. I came back to get a refund and was told that they dont do refunds, only in store credit to buy an inflated priced laptop, tablet, or other devices they have. I just threw the charger away and called it a day. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN!!
