My son did lessons there and every time hed come home he would talk about his teacher Chris and all the similar intrests they had. He would also come home playing tons of new songs and chords! Give that man a raise.

Great first experience. I would definitely recommend this place. I had no idea what I was doing and decided on a whim to purchase a guitar for my husbands birthday. The woman on the phone took what little information I had and gave me the perfect recommendation immediately, as it turns out. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and walked through my purchase in a way that did not make me feel bad for being clueless which was fantastic. Employees were helpful, knowledgeable, comfortable, and good humored.Please support this business. They have a lot to offer. If I was staying in the area I would definitely pursue their instrument rentals and lesson offerings.

Every staff member is so extremely nice and such a pleasure to talk with! im taking guitar lessons with chris, and i really enjoy talking with him and his company as much as i do taking his music lessons! hes very patient and encouraging :) as a total beginner at the guitar, ive already learned a lot!

My grandchildren have taken lessons at the Live Music Center on Alamo Drive, with wonderful experiences. From the courteous staff to the excellent teachers, it has been a pleasure doing business with the Center. My musicians are now in their respective school bands.

My kids have taken lessons elsewhere in the past with teachers and methods they didn’t love, and therefore they didn’t love playing and learning musi. We’ve been coming to Live Music for about 4 years now and they love it. They are eager to learn and try new things musically on their own. The teachers meet the students where they are. They aren’t rigid in teaching one way or one style of music, but start with what interests their students. For my kids that’s meant not battling them to practice and they have still learned so much about music theory and playing. I recommend Live Music to any of my friends looking for music lessons.
