This store always competes with the other unnamed big store. I can say they are both good stores. They both sell quality goods and merchandise that is just right for any job. They have everything I need. My personal preference is to shop here. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Recommend.

All the staff that interacted with us were very friendly, food was very good as well , had the chicken fried steak, club sandwich, also a steak fried steak the salad bar was fresh

All you can eat salad bar was offered to me but closed after I served my self once now info/warning. We ordered ice cream but machine was emptied due to close to closing. They didnt ask if we wanted any before they emptied it. And they did not offer any other desert. They did offer refills but they threw away the tea because it was closing time.

We were on vacation and decided to go into town. The store/restaurant was very nice. Friendly staff. Very pleasant

Very cool place. We always enjoy stopping off to see what they have when in the area. Even if you dont buy anything, its worth the stop....but I cant ever go in and not leave w something. :D

The food was quite delicious, but the service was even better. Not only did our server check on us multiple times, but so did others. The table next to us were an older couple who seemed to be regulars. The woman was having a tough time with some food stuck in her throat, and several employees refused to leave her side for over 15 minutes until she was okay. Refreshing to see that level of concern and caring for a guest. Great staff.

This is a lil dining spot inside an outdoor or hunting shop. They earned a 5 star from me for serving a salad bar thats covid friendly. Staff fills you plate while you tell them what you want. Amazing teamwork great service great food. Look forward to returning!!!

PRICEY! But when your nearest competitor is 1and 15min away in San Antonio i guess you can get away with it. They have very good products, no doubt but they are marked up to the sky. You can literally take some one into this store and get them everything they will need for a hunting or fishing trip from ice chest to other equipment including guns, and walk out go on the trip. You are definitely going to pay extra but they have it. Im an archery hunter and they have an archery section complete with bow press and strings, also 50% more expensive then academy or bass pro. Their marks ups on EVERYTHING including their food, at their bbq restaurant are the only reason they dont have 5☆

Pretty good food, interesting atmosphere, and friendly people for the most part. I just got a kick out of eating at a hunting goods store. All the taxidermied animals was cool to appreciate while eating too, though not gonna lie it did make me less hungry; what with all the glassy eyes of various creatures looking at me as I stuffed my face. Cest la vie.

Its just amazing how this place have so many people and yet the service is still above average. Crystal and Crystal are awesome.

Food is good. Service is good. Best salad bar in town. Friday and Saturday they offer all you can eat deals, catfish and ribs respectively. The only reason I didnt give them five stars was their limited hours during the week.

I liked all the meats ....it was just to much for my self ...I think it was a big portion like for two people ...and it did tasted very good 👍

Oh my God. Best Salad bar and fresh. All the food was Amazing. Steak, shrimp and Chicken fried steak was made perfect. Fresh and tender. I recommend this place to everyone in the area. Shop has everything for women and men. Jewelry, clothes, BBQ pits and ect.

Fantastic Salad Bar! Crisp greens, fresh fruits, a variety of toppings with plenty of healthy options. Was seated and served quickly and really enjoyed the Texas Country charm. Will definitely come back! The hotel clerk next door recommended this salad bar.

This review is for the restaurant. The restaurant is middle of the road fare with huge portions. The chicken fried steak is good, but not outstanding. What DOES stand out here is the salad bar. It is massive and doesn’t just include salad. There are soups, breads, cold AND hot salads and even desserts. Most notable, the banana/vanilla wafer pudding. A southern tradition. You can EASILY make a meal of the salad bar. They offer a one trip option and an all you can eat option. This is a great place for large families on a budget.

Every time I go in the people look at me like I’m lost. Very strange. Went to purchase a firearm the old guys in the back are rude and don’t ask if you need help they just seem like they’d rather gossip with each other than sell you a gun. So I just went to Academy in San Antonio instead.

Went shopping for something special and found it.

Food was okay. Nothing to rave about. My husband had the smoked turkey and enjoyed it. I had a burger but it was fairly bland. Wouldnt order it again. The sweet potato fries were the biggest hit. Very different from others weve had. Probably wont be back though.

This is a unique place- think small local Bass-Pro type offerings for sale but with an amazing restaurant inside. There is a unique atmosphere in the restaurant, with locally hunted taxidermy on the walls, including a wide variety of white tail deer and exotic animals.The salad bar is legendary here locally, and the smoked-in-house meats are amazing. We always bring out of town guests here and they love it. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get.

Wonderful time with daughter and son. We loved the atmosphere, and the food was fabulous. The prices were a little high. But fun. Cant come often though because like I said, the price is to high. We also had a great waitress.

We went there to look at a high rise hunting seat. The store has a good selection of hunting goods available. The other side is a western clothing, boots and gift store. The staff was helpful and very knowledgeable in their products. The prices seemed a bit high but they were good quality.

Pretty good country dining place. There is usually no wait, and if there is it’s short. the service is decent and it has a nice casual atmosphere. when you’re done eating there’s lots of shopping and looking around to do!

Had a homestyle bbq plate and sides. Not a food picture type but sometimes I wish I had. Sausage, brisket, ribs with okra and mac ch. This was almost moms cooking and the scenery of the local wildlife surrounds 360 in the store. There are too many examples or exhibits to begin to name all that stands display. Loved it and will he back.

I was very impressed with the barbque sandwich and fries. They have a spice on the table that was very unique and good. The store around the restaurant is mostly hunting stuff but there was a small boutique that had some nice things!I would go there again!!

Ive had the BBQ here and was NOT impressed. However the salad bar is a legit option for those looking for a quick, semi healthy bite. I would like to see more vinagrette options but overall a great lunch spot.
