Just rented a unit to store my daughter’s things until fall semester. Autumn was very professional, accommodating and made everything simple. Location is convenient to campus and our climate controlled unit was SUPER clean.

Kimberly was very nice! I always appreciate businesses whose employees greet customers with a smile. No U-hauls were available but I would go back to this location for service.

They have excellent customer service! And was delightful to do business with but uhaul overcharged my bank account for the truck! I lived down the street from the storage unit so we didn’t drive far ! Other then that everything was good !! But also the uhaul truck was damaged before we got it but it’s all good!

If you are looking for tight security, be cautious of campus storage. I have lived by campus storage for three years now and frequently the alarm will go off in the middle of the night (at minimum 2 times a month, and at least 2 times in the past week). I assume the alarm is set off due to the gate being stuck open. Despite the alarm saying that the police were called, no police respond consistently to the scene. I don’t think one should trust the security of campus storage, and I am severely concerned for how their security would handle an actual break in. Additionally, it is simply a nuisance to live by due to the frequency of the alarm going off.EDIT: the alarm went off this morning a little before 4am. The police finally arrived at 4:15am (ish). I noticed because the alarm went off again, likely due to motion detectors around the (still) open gate. I do not always see them respond, but if they do, there is definitely a long time in between.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Absolute worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I was told multiple times I could go pick up the key, but when I arrived at the office, the door was locked and no one was answering the phone, even though it was in the middle of the day, during working hours, with the open sign on. This happened twice. After calling the head office, I was told the person working at the Tuscaloosa store would meet us at the office to give us the key for the unit. Upon arrival, their car was thee, but the door was still locked and no one answered after knocking for 10 minutes. Not sure if they are doing meth in the bathroom or what.

Extremely clean and well maintained storage unit. Onsite staff was very helpful on move in day, providing support even after the office had closed!

Price is hiked because of proximity to UA, but experience with them was fine until they parked 20 uhauls right in front of where our unit was. It was annoying to get in and out.

Terrible customer service. Every month I get an emailSaying past due plus a $10 fee, yet I have been set up for autodraft for over 1 year. Its always some excuse from them. Have to call every month and suddenly they can process the payment. Do not waste your time renting storage from here!

I rented a storage unit when the property was owned by Monfore Group. I signed a lease and my rental fee was to to be 95.00. Monfore group sold to the current owners who immediately raised my fee to 110.00 I wasnt ok with this because Monfore Group rented this unit at 95.00. I was never late with a payment. I went over and was locked out. Called the storage number got an answering service. Told them the problem and requested a call. I wanted to know why. Instead I got a text and a passcode to the gate. I was locked out twice. I rented a 10 by 20. the problem was I was being charged for 2 storage units when I only had one. They were told the problem. Instead of apologizing the District manager raised my rent to 159.00 in which he stated it would go into effect on 8/26. Whenever I called the office number it would automatically go to the answering svc in Texas. They had flagged my number and rerouted it to Texas. I went to the office about 2 Saturdays ago. I called to see if anyone was in. Again it went to the answering svc in Texas.They sent a message and the district manager whos from Tennesee intercepted the email . He happened to be in Tuscaloosa. He informed the young lady that a angry customer was on her way. As I was driving up the coward was speeding out of the parking lot leaving this young lady to bear the brunt of my anger. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE SHADY PEOPLE ESPECIALLY MY PEOPLE!!!!! Theyre lowdown shady Donald Trump kinda of people.I Beau F. take control of your property. Its people in Tuscaloosa who has made your family and who support your fathers practice.

Awful... My things were infested.. My brand new bed clawed to pieces by rats even thought I packed everything in sealed bags and then in taped boxes. Rat poop everywhere and not only that, it all smells of poop and urine.. So upset and disappointed. Im paying entirely too much to have to now replace my new things.
