Target is one of my favorite stores and this location is super convenient to my house. I can say though that I don’t think I’ve ever been able to fully complete a grocery run at this location since COVID. I know that COVID has a big impact on that, but it does suck to have to make multiple stops or have to go to Walmart/another grocery store instead to get all of my groceries.

Was able to get my covid-19 vaccine now Im fully vaccinated.

Great customer service, availability of products and faster completion time than of Walmart which lately you have to do a grocery pick up days ahead because no time slots are available.

The last two times my wife and I have visited this location it has been very frustrating. While employees are wondering around in groups chatting it up, they expect the customer to self check out $500 worth of groceries. Target used to care about customer service and adding value... now just an overpriced Walmart. We will not be back

Me and my mom came in there shopping for my daughters birthday presents and we had the best experience everyone is friendly and cheerful we will definitely be back !

I love this Target location. Almost every time I drive through Tuscaloosa I stop by to check out the new inventory. It’s fairly accessible from the interstate, probably about 5 minutes down the road. It’s basically two turns, so it’s easy to get back on the interstate for this who aren’t familiar with the area. This is a large premium location, carrying many of the speciality Target items. The beauty department is one of the largest I’ve visited in Alabama, offering higher end cosmetic brands and more ingredient conscious choices. The grocery department is stocked with some of the best fresh food options. There is a self checkout that is typically open late, which is great for those of us who come later at night. I recommend this location, 5 stars. ⭐️

Its a great place to shop. I would like to see more non-dairy creamer options, specifically unsweetened. Coffee Mate makes a really good one and I used to count on buying it at Target. Please bring it back!

Clean and plenty of room, they have the best shopping carts and many cool things to fill your 🛒. Some items can be a bit pricey and be gotten cheaper other places but you can still find a deal every now and then.

This store is special. Today, I thought I misplaced some items and medicine from the pharmacy, which I purchased and thought I accidentally left in a cart in the parking lot. Not only did they comfort me and do everything to help me find the items, to the point of reviewing cameras, but they even walked me ALL THE WAY BACK TO MY CAR AFTERWARDS AND CHECKED I WAS OK. They were beyond understanding. Definitely wouldn’t expect this excellent engagement from other places.

Really not happy with the Target pick up experience. I was waiting for 30 mins to get my stuff but people who just pull up, got their items before me.I work super long hours and don’t have the energy to go into the store.I will probably just do grocery delivery, since pick ups take such a long time.I have other things to do besides wait around and have someone give me my groceries.

This target is a one star for customer service. I’ve attempted to call multiple times. Either no one answers in any department, someone picks up and all I hear is their conversation, or someone picks up after 50 rings, says hello, and hangs up after I ask for help with a purchase.

Almost every time I shop at the Tuscaloosa store, items I intended to buy are out of stock. I even checked the website to be sure it was in stock but, when I arrived at the store, it wasnt. The customer service person checked their computer and it showed in stock also. I was told the Market Pantry house brand was being renamed and that had caused much confusion and caused the inventory to be inaccurate. There are some knucklehead bean counters at corporate that just cant leave well enough alone.I used to really like this store however, inventory problems persist with items constantly out of stock. Its a waste of my time to go there anymore.

Store Is Always So PERFECTLY Clean!! Very Clean and Spacious. Whomever Tuscaloosa Target Has As A Cleaning Crew Does A Wonderful Job. I can always come here and find everything I want! Clean and sanitized baskets, I can see my feet on the floor in apparel I have toddler triplets so the restrooms and changing tables are ALWAYS cleaned if I have to change them!! Beautiful beautiful Store. I shop here 7 days a week for EVERYTHING.

Could be cleaned, and have more cashiers. Besides that there is not much to complain about. Very helpful employees, along with fair prices with good quality.

If I could give a negative 1 then I would. This is the worst drive up service that I have ever experienced. My order was misplaced and I had to wait over 30 minutes for it to be found.

This store is unusable at the beginning of a college semester, but really pleasant in the month of May. Also, the beer and wine section is, inexplicably, in the front of the store beyond the point of sale. The parking lot is huge and easily accessible.

The associate was standing outside at curb service waiting on me to pull in parking space with my items. He asked for my ID # and put items in my car. It was that fast! (And the store was packed!)

Terrible experience. Not the Target of old. Only 1 check out clerk and everyone else is expected to self check out no matter what amount of groceries you are purchasing.

I place an online order to have an item to be pick up which was listed in stock and available for pick up my card was charge and they begin to process the order after there was no type of communication from the store about my pick up so when I got to the store they told me they could have had when I placed the order but no longer have but if I have arranged to pick up why wasn’t it pulled and why didn’t I get any notifications that it was no longer available. I just don’t like the customer service there I get it’s the holidays but that wasn’t right at all plus I couldn’t get a refund or my child Christmas gift because there was none left

Target is a very convenient place to shop with affordable prices and a wide selection of products. A good alternative to Wal-Mart or other store chains. They also do a good job of cleaning, getting people to wear masks, enforcing social distancing, etc compared to other stores

The outside pick up/drive in was perfect. So easy to use and the employee who brought the order to my car was extremely polite and courteous.

Cleanliness and availability of essential needs items.

The store is clean and for the most part usually has what I need. But their online ordering at this store is a joke. Ive never been able to order online because it always get canceled and once got canceled after I got told my order was ready to be picked up.That time I was told it was out of stock yet I got the message it was ready so that doesnt make sense to me. Another time right after I ordered all of sudden its not something eligible for order pickup but I actually checked daily debating on ordering and it showed eligible up until I placed the order. Cashiers are always friendly and so helpful but some (not all) working customer service act like youre bothering them asking for help. The bakery department is amazing.

This is a great place to shop and it’s is always so clean! The staff is also very helpful and willing to help in any way they can.

I spent hours trying to order toys to be sent to L Las Vegas as I have done before. Worst website I have ever tried to use. Certain toys can’t be sent to address . unless you agree to sign up for service for hand delivery . Free trail service and then have to pay to join. Big ad for discounts if you are circle member and last day today and only added 1:00$ after ordering over 100.00 . The website is too confusing to order and then be told can’t ship to that address. This is extremely poor customer service. Could not find phone number to get help. I bet you’ll have lost a lot of sales especially from older people.

I love being able to pay using my red card and the app on my phone and I get an additional 5% off of everything I purchase when I do this! Target has great items that you don’t find everywhere else. I got several cute pj’s for my dogs and the prices were wonderful!

The Tuscaloosa Target has seriously stepped up its Keto game. I found Quest tortilla style chips, Lilys candy, and Highkey cookies today. It made me ridiculously happy. Also, the cosmetics section is huge and beautiful.

This Target is always so clean, well stocked, and the employees are always friendly. This is my Happy Place!

Have everything you need.

I used self checkout this morning I didnt wanna break a 20 dollar bill for 1.64 cents. I put my change in the machine and it wasnt counting it, I ask for help the men was very rude he did something but only 50cents came out, I told him I put over the amount of money in there, so he started it over and left. I let it go and it did the same thing I called him back over he watched me put more money in it and it wasnt counting again. He told me to go to another self checkout that one worked but at this point I paid almost 5 dollars at the other machine, at this point it was like am buying it 3times over, I told him about the other machine about the money I put in there he told me I couldve put 5 dollars in it cause it wouldve came out. So I lost my money I was not about to buy it again. I will never go there again.

3rd time to order drive up pickup, 3rd time several items are available on the website then are cancelled when inarrice to get them. This time 5 of my 8 items were cancelled.

I ordered requesting driveup service and for some reason when my order was ready it was stating that I needed to come into the service desk. I called because I had my baby with me and did not want to come inside....and the representative who answered the phone, with no questions whatsoever told me that they would be happy to bring it out. Not only did they bring it out... the associate was standing outside with my things when I pulled up! LOVE LOVE LOVE their customer service!!!

Customer service was outstanding today! We were shopping for a Toy Drive sponsored by donation from my workplace and we had a lot we needed to get in a very small budget. I am very impressed that the employees, they checked on us several times to make sure we were finding everything okay, as well as the manager who went above and beyond to honor a sign that was accidentally left up from a previous sale! I shop at Target a lot, but today was for sure a remarkable experience.

I cant believe what Ive seen them do to the employees here. Youd think they valued their people more!

The receiving manager Marla is a very poor person. She is rude and disrespectful to vendors for no reason and should sit her lazy rump at home if she has such a problem with her job! You guys have lost business as a vendor with my company and as a customer, soley based on her bad attitude and disdain for social interactions. There are plenty of people in need of employment right now and I suggest Target fins a replacement that isnt sour or spoiled if you want to maintain relationships with your vendors in the future!

They are easier to deal with than any other store and the employees dont argue with you like other places. So I would totally come back and tell other people about this place

I absolutely love this Target! They have such a great selection! I spend most of my time in the beauty/toiletries section and the grocery section. Im always so impressed by the amount of gluten free food available! I think Target has gotten more gluten free stuff in than Publix has lately. They just organized a new gluten free section in the freezer aisle and I am so happy I have so many gluten free pizza and cheesecake options! This store is always so clean and organized! After they remodeled, the bathrooms have really improved! I also love that I can save money by using my cartwheel app on my phone! Overall this is probably my favorite store in Tuscaloosa!

I was new to the Target app, forgot to use it at check out. the cashier helped me out as well as the customer service rep to receive all the rewards available.

Rude, horrible customer service.

Staff was rude at self checkout towards me asking for a price match and then a manager came up and was reprimanding staff in front of me weird vibes.

On December 14 I came across a 4-tier stand that had a $2 sign. The $2 sign was about the size of a stop sign. I picked up 2 of the 5 air diffusers that were there and did a few shopping then proceeded to checkout. Once ready to scan the diffuser it rang up 14.99. I informed the lady working in self check out and she called one of the supervisors to come over. I asked her why when the items were still right in front of the register and she could go over and see for herself. She said she needed approval. Okay fine whatever. It took about 15 minutes before Ms Aura came over and said let me check it out. She leaves and is gone another 15 minutes. She finally comes back after I asked for her again. She said she could only honor one and not he others because one side had $2 does not mean everything is $2 and the only reason she is honoring only one is because there were NO OTHER PRICES ON THE TIER. I stated if there where no other prices on the tier then everything on the tier is $2. Aura replied by saying I dont have to honor anything because it was placed in the wrong spot and I should make you pay full price for both. I told Aura thats not right because both are in my basket the sign is in your hand and there are more still on the tier. Aura stated thats not her problem do you want this one or not. I asked to speak with someone else and Aura said she is someone else. Auras attitude was UGLY, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND UNKIND. I left the store and did not purchase anything. Thank you target for hiring Aura. I will not shop at that Target again.

Im sick of Walmart forcing me to use self checkout so I drive 40 minutes farther to try Target. They had several different categories of items that I needed which offered buy 4 and get $5 in store credit. I easily qualified for three of these and earned $15. I am not bothered at all by the longer drive. Currently Im on a Christmas trip and found my PJs are badly stained. Going to use my credit tomorrow to buy a new set. Their store is very close to my hotel. How nice!

The store is excellent except for one very rude attendant at one of the self-check areas. This is the third survey I have submitted within the last month noting a very rude attendant at the self-check area of your otherwise excellent Tuscaloosa store. Because of her and your inattention to the matter, I will not return to that store until the situation is handled. I have discuss the matter with management and apparently no one cares, because the situation continues. This makes me unhappy. I am the primary shopper for our family and I really have enjoyed shopping at this store until this matter continued after repeated positive efforts on my part to submit helpful feedback.

The store itself is nice. However, I ordered a product online to pick up, they said it was in store. After I place the order i get an email saying the item is not in store. How does it go to being stocked with 4 items to having no items in less than one minute? Impossible. Therefore they lied to me online. I needed the item today. Im upset they led me to believe I could get it today, instead of in two days.

After Christmas I was looking to buy a gift set of clearance hair products. I didn’t see the set in the aisle and was leaving rather disappointed. An associate asked me if he could help me find what I was looking for. John Williams is employee of the month IDC what y’all say! Love this Target. Only had a little time to pick up a few items, would like to have stayed longer. Made shopping a very pleasant experience, clean, friendly- would definitely go back!

Overall, not the best Target I’ve been to but not the worst. Staff isn’t the friendliest. Main complaint is that they overprice their health and beauty prices; all other prices are consistent with online prices, but if you’re going to purchase anything in the healthy and beauty category, double check the price with the online price and fight it at the register. It’ll save you a lot of money over your time at Bama.

I really like this Target, though they are undergoing renovations. Im guessing this makes them lack a lot of goods. Ive been there several times and they were completely out of spices for days/weeks, for just one example. If they improve Ill change my review.

Customer service is horrible

I love Target overall, although theyre a bit higher in price than a less sanitary competitor. I had an incident in the adjacent mall parking lot a couple of years ago, hit a curb and flattened a tire. Id left my cell phone at work and had no way to call anyone. The mall was closed but Target wasnt more than 30 feet away but up a small hill. There was about a 4 retainer wall, some tall grass and about a 4 chain link fence. The only other way was to walk around the fence in the dark and that was just too far so I opted for the hill. By the time I got to the door I was out of breath, had dirt and grass on my clothes and even surprised they let me in. The security guard was super nice and walked me to customer service who were also very nice. They let me use a phone book and the store phone to call someone. I dont know of many other places that wouldnt say no if you asked to use their phone for any reason, or that would just be nice, even though I wasnt there to shop. Every time Ive shopped there since, if the security guard is there he recognizes me and speaks. Much nicer than the less sanitary competitor Id mentioned earlier whos employees and even door greeters can be rude.
