After Safelite rescheduled my appointment several times, they finally replaced the windshield. But they did not reinstall the trim pieces properly...they are not where they are supposed to be - but are glued in place - and they left wires exposed (wires that go to the rear view mirror). They also left something on the paint which looks like glue residue.

The technicians at this Safelite are very professional and friendly. I have used this location several times now, both at the shop and their mobile unit, and have had nothing but good experiences. I really appreciated the technicians walking me through the issues, and taking the time to answer my questions. Services were completed in a timely fashion. Location is also easy to access, just limited parking.

The employees were really nice and replaced my windshield in less than 30 minutes. I will recommend Safelite AutoGlass to all of my family and friends.

My wife called our insurance company and they scheduled us the appointment to have the windshield/ passager side glass replaced. The technician was very nice an all but the work, was not done correctly. We are looking forward to bring the car to there shop and having ot fixed right.

Called to make an appointment at our local location. Had to do the total run around with the phone automation. The only way I can make an appointment is on line! So I went thru my insurance company and they connected me. Really I am not important enough to talk to a representative? Instead I had to use three other peoples time to get an appointment. Poor at best

Absolutely horrible experience. I brought my car here 3 times. The windshield they ordered each time had a scratch in it, so I had to keep going back to get my car. After the 3rd time the lady told me she would have the service come to my house for all the inconvenience. The morning they were to come to my location to fix my windshield, I got a call saying the guy who was on that route called off. I ended up having to bring my car in once again. Service has been absolutely terrible and not friendly. I don’t recommend this Safelite location.

Safelite would not show up are call me on my appointment day.Dont use them call Hanks glass they do a great job and dont leave you hanging.

The did an amazing job working on my wife’s windshield. They worked extremely hard to get the job finished so that she could get on the toad for a trip. Due to a low car battery we had to come back the next day in order for the to calibrate her adaptive cruse control. They had us out within the hour. I will recommend to anyone!!!!

I had a small round nick in my windshield due to a rock hitting it while I was driving along a freeway. I called Safelite to have the damage repaired to prevent the nick from spreading. When the service rep completed the work, the small nick was not only much more obvious it also had several hairline cracks, one over an inch long, radiating from it. Had I known the repair would make things worse, I would have never called Safelite to do the work. My prior experience several years ago on another vehicle was much more favorable. The rep took his time and did quality work. I could hardly see the initial damage when completed. You are at the mercy of the skill of the service rep. Safelite does not stand behind their work or offer any guarantees. Poor quality work will be at your expense. I will never call Safelite or recommend them for service again. Use at your own risk!!!

I tried for over a month to have my windshield replaced with them, but two of the times they said the windshield was damaged when they got it in. The 3rd time they called the morning of service to say it still had not arrived to do the call. So disappointed !

Had a 10:30 appointment, I was told theyd get right on it and would call when the vehicle was ready. After 2 hrs I returned to find my car in the same spot I left it untouched, guess you have to stay there and watch

Did not end up using them, when I called to make an appointment its was all automated and the recording said due to covid 19 appointments could not be made over the phone they would have to be made online..🤨..called another service provider and a woman answered on the second ring..call me old fashioned but I prefer talking to real people...

Their spray glass cleaner is just Awesome..leaves All my glasses and mirrors sparkling clean.

So many things to say, including bringing the wrong glass. When they actually brought the correct glass the technician was to call me when he finished. I only found out he was finished when I received an invoice. When I went to my car I realized he had left with my parking pass. He brought the pass back and we discussed why he hadn’t called me to review the work. Later I realized he had broken the case around my rear view mirror. He pretended he told me it was broken, not sure how that was even possible, since he left without telling me he was finished. I’ve called the office twice about my damaged car and have been told they are going to replace it. I really doubt if they are even trying since I’ve had to call and follow up with them. That was over 2 weeks ago. I would never use them again, no accountability at all. I will tell my insurance company of this experience as well since they referred me to this company. You might pay more somewhere else, but the service has to be better.

This was the second time that Ive used this Safelite and both times have been positive, fast and professional service. Made an appointment which helped me get in and out and the price was reasonable. I recommend this location to anyone seeking windshield repair.

I had a windshield put in a 2011 accord gaps all over the place , they also tore the cover that go on the hood hinges , my daughter took hers yesterday and a part flew off today. I would not recommend the Tuscaloosa safe lite to any one. I’m an insurance agent and will never send another customer. July 30 Update a safe lite tech came out today just to tell me it wasn’t poor Workman ship my advice don’t use Safelite!!!! Ever!!

Technician was professional but personable. Got right to work and did not mind that I stayed to watch the entire process. Answered all my questions. I was impressed with his attention to details and thoroughness. Excellent job, excellent service!

Unsure of quality but this is the second time ive tried to schedule to where they had to cancel it. When i went to reschesule it i couldnt i had to redo it ans lost my coupon i had on there i called several times hours before they closed and no one would answer i wasnt able to speak with anyone. So needless to say i juat went with someone else who in turn was cheaper and more pleasant anyway

They are very reputable and established. Unfortunately, I had a cracked windshield before, and Safelite was so easy and efficient to work with through my insurance company that I advised them, I wanted to use Safelite again. Not many customers are repeat customers these days, but I will be should the issue arise and I need glass repair again. You wont be sorry choosing Safelite. They really were great from the first and only phone call to the technician performing the repair at your home.

These guys are the best. I came in to the shop with a not ordinary case of broken windshield. Most other shops turned me away but these guys understood that S*** happens and worked with me to help fix my truck for a more than reasonable price. I would recommend Tuscaloosa Safelite to anyone with windshield troubles!

Dropped off my vehicle for windshield replacement. while replacing the windshields, the technicians managed to break an interior piece around my mirror and rather than telling me, placed the piece up and hoped i would not notice. additionally, there were multiple areas in my interior where installation trash and other miscellaneous items were left during the service as well as black rubber stains on my tan interior. very unprofessional atmosphere and will not be returning.

Me and my son made an appointment to be there today at 10 my son had a copy of the appointment on his phone. The gentleman at the window said the appointment had been canceled and would not be able to service us until Friday. We have wasted a whole day taking off of work to come and do this. I told him that I thought this place sucks because they couldnt do it until Friday and he said that he could not service us at all anymore

The replaced the glass but it leaked. It takes a week to even get them back out to fix. Brand new vehicle, carpet is ruined.

Made a appointment on 8-13-18 by going through the main number for Safe lite for 8-14 -18 for service between 12 and 5 . The operator verified my car as 2013 Toyota Rav 4 . On the morning of 8-14-18 i get a call from the local store saying the windshield they ordered came in damage and they would get a new one from Birmingham by noon . They said it would not affect my install time . I then get another call around 3 pm saying the truck with my windshield was in a fender bender in Birmingham and could they move my service date to 8-15-18 . I ask what was the lastest he could be at my house and he said we have to be off the road by 5 so i said ok on 8-15-18 between 12 and 5 . So on 8-15-18 around 8:30am i get a call to varify they would be here between 12 and 5 . Well at 4pm i called the main number at Safelite and was patched through the local office and they said yes by 5pm he would be here . He showed up at 5 :18 pm with a windshield for a 2003 toyota and mine was a 2013 . So much for Safelite verification . Called the store and was told they would order a new one on 8-16-18 but i have to leave out of town in the morning . My rating for this store is not good . A 3day notice and they still cant get it right .

Had rear window in a pickup replaced. They scratched my truck in several places, left broken glass behind the rear seat, and on the dash and console, and now the window is leaking. On top of all of this, they took an hour and a half longer than it was supposed to take. This place is horrible.
