Always a good experience going to Sallys. Even if you dont have a cosmetology license (like myself, though my mom does and shes taught me a LOT about the industry and products) they treat you like you know what youre talking about and will be as helpful as possible. They almost always have just what youre looking for but if they dont have a specific product or brand in-store they will check if they have it online or even reference you to a competing store that definitely has it.

Save your money and go to visalia.. their customer service there is horrible!! They make you feel unwanted and stupid if you ask questions.. hate this place.. visalia is so much better!

Worst Sallys staff I have ever met. Ive been going to this store for years in Tulare, Visalia and Fresno and I have never met girls who are so rude and unhelpful. Im not very experienced in using bleach on hair and I explained that I needed more specific instructions to mix the product, especially since I was using it on my little sister rather than myself. The girl was vague and I repeated that I needed something more specific than pancake batter consistency. When I asked if there was someone more experienced in the store, she smugly replied, Im the most experienced here. Its like she went out of her way to lose my business. As I walked out, I replied Ill be sending out a Yelp about you and she was only to happy to hear that. She and the two other girls behind the counter all laughed. I do regret I called her a name when I left as that i not in my nature, however it was at the end of an extremely long and difficult day. I will be writing to the company about the girls they have employed there, especially since I understand they take great pleasure on talking about people in Spanish, like a patron is too stupid to understand the condescension in their tone.This incident occurred Friday, June 23, approximately 4pm. They are taking the stellar reputation of a fine establishment and doing what they can to ruin it. I just moved back to Tulare and i can say Ive spent thousands of dollars over the last 30 years. I am so so happy to hear that there is another beauty supply store in the area. I dont think I will be returning to Sallys again. Its such a shame the Sallys chain is losing business because of their employees. Im wondering if its poor management. Maybe corporate should consider a personal change.

Worst STAFF Ever!! Everything in the stores on sale, but the original prices are wrong? OVERCHARGED EVERY TIME! The sales girls speak in spanish about you, & if you habla its ALL BAD!! They only recommend crap they have at home and they dont do hair!!!
