The best place in Tucson for authentic Indian spices! While this place isn’t huge, the selection is extremely well thought out, organised, and the staff are helpful. They mainly have bagged dry spices, but they also carry things such as teas, rice, canned goods, syrups, oils, a few frozen items, Indian style yogurt, and personal items such as hair dyes and henna. It would be nice to see a few offerings of fresh items, (things like coriander, mint, some fruit and veg) but honestly that just may not be something they want to get into. Other than that, this place is my go to when I need to replace the items in my spice cabinet.

Very friendly place and they have everything your Indian Reciepes call for... Curry Leaves... No problem....

The mango yogurt (lassi) drink here is AMAZING

Best Indian grocery store in town! Owners are absolutely lovely people, always willing to help you find something special or provide cooking tips. Daal, Masalas, frozen foods, mithai...they have it all.

What a lovely little shop. The woman who helped me was absolutely perfect. Only thing I would mention is that the veggie broth packets they have are not vegan (contains milk), but so many spices and whatnot to choose from I will just make my own broth. 100% coming back here.

Only indian store in town which has vegetables coming on Thursday and call before going. Not good because it doesn’t have all days option to shop for vegetable and even it doesn’t have all varieties of vegetable. Only necessary items you can find not everything.

They have good food to pick from and if they dont have it on hand, theyll order it or try there best too. Very friendly people.

Love this store! I live about two hours away but make a point to stock up on spices and beans, lentils and super interesting snacks. Great selection of spices and great prices! I dont know what I would do if this place went out of business! Stop by and check it out. The owner is very helpful and will answer any questions you have.

Used to be in stock all the time, but not anymore. I had to start supplementing at Lee Lees, which always has everything. The upside is that everything I did buy was always incredibly fresh - I always get compliments on my roti and dals I made with the supplies bought here. Maybe rent or buy a bigger space and have more consistent inventory. I dont want to have to stop shopping here, but taking a trip all the way from the East side to find out that they are out of stock is a waste of time and gas.

Convenient little space to stock up on essentials for traditional Indian cooking, plus fun items like frozen naan (SO tasty!) and Maggi noodles.

Compared to the other Indian grocery store in town, the price as well as quality and variety is far superior. Will be shipping here more often

Great shopping centre for Indian food and spices

I went here today with a list of items I couldnt pronounce feeling anxious. Would I be able to find what I needed?I had the most heart warming and nerve-soothing experience. The woman working there helped me find every single thing on my list easily, she asked about what I was making and offered me suggestions and alternate methods, she had a very clear and deeply experienced wealth of information for me. She offered substitutions to make the recipe easier and more authentic, and even steered me away from buying one item because she explained it was used to boost fermentation and since it is hot where we live it isnt necessary. I had no idea. She said what are you making? Let me see the recipe! From now on, I will go to her before I do any indian recipe search on google.I feel I had an old-world experience and made a human connection. I asked the grocer if she would ever invite me to her home for dinner, I would be very lucky and would bring a dish :)

We decided to visit the store based on the last reviewer from Sierra Vistas comments. I am glad we did because it has everything we needed and the frozen section was a surprise! The lady at the store (might have been the owner) was SUPER nice and I honestly was not expecting such friendliness. I no longer need to order my supplies from the internet!I must add there was a guy in the store who was not very nice and my husband was ready to get in the car and leave. So they might want to work on the guys social skills as who knows if he has turned off other clients.

I went to India Dukaan because there are no specialty Indian grocers in Sierra Vista, and a group of friends and I planned an Indian themed dinner party. Needless to say, India Dukaan had everything we needed, and more! The owner was extremely nice and helped me so very much; she explained what things were, what ingredients I really needed, and had the absolute best brands available. The store is small, yes, but the owner has already started expanding it! They are starting to carry a good variety of frozen foods now, too - including falooda (whoo hoo!). If you get the chance to stop by and check it out, I definitely recommend it!

I cant say enough good things about India Dukkan. For such a small store they carry so many items to make a wide variety of Indian dishes. The owners are so incredibly knowledgable and will help you with any questions you have about any of their products.Ive been cooking for years yet have learned so much about new spices, lentils, and herbs with their help.If youre looking for Indian groceries, this is the only place in town I would recommend.
