Perhaps, a large number of content and even happy looking drivers going by the new residential subdivisions are enjoying the several churches right there? They were also patient and considerate when I tried to s l o w l y depart the lot! Associates were friendly and energetic. What a wonderful mellow and pleasant impression I got about Tuscon! Best Wal-Mart not like others with all the weirdos

I dont think Im alone in this but, after spending well over $200, scanning, and bagging my own groceries, I get stopped at the exit because they want to see my receipt, which is pretty insulting. Open up check-out lanes if youre worried about theft. Oh, and BTW, I have a job...40+ hours per week. Would you like to come do my job or would you like to put me on your payroll?

Best Walmart in town. The store is clean and easy to navigate. The personnel are friendly, yet it work hard. If theres anybody that deserves a wage increase to a minimum wage of $15/hr, full time and full benefits, it is these people!

Very clean store. Lots of associates walking around organizing things and putting things down to assist you if needed. Asked where their film was and instead of just giving vague directions I was taken straight to them and on the way the associate even asked me about my photography and seemed genuinely interested!

Its Walmart. You never know what youre gonna get. Our most recent shopping experience was decent. The items we were looking for were in stock. The aisles were clear and clutter free. The prices were inaccurate on some items. The staff were friendly and professional.

Today was the first time I went to this store. Im disabled and there were no scooters available. Also I was dismayed at seeing all the self checkouts and only 1 cashier for the regular lines. I waited in line for the cashier because I believe in supporting jobs and not computers. Besides, as I mentioned, Im disabled and having someone help scan and bag groceries is extremely helpful.The floor staff was nice and helped me get things I could not reach.Please reconsider replacing cashier jobs with computers. People like me need their help and they need jobs...

There is absolutely no interactiveness with employees anymore, no cashiers, no employees to help you while shopping except the stocking clerks. This store has turned self serve, if I wanted that I would make purchases online

This is our home Walmart we frequent it often and are very happy with the service Supply of inventory and varied selection

Walmarts just like every other walmart. Over crowded, isles to narrow, employees not happy to be there, and you as a customer treated like a suspect at the door when your leaving cause they gotta check your recipet to make sure you didnt take anything. Makes me so mad!

Id rather pay a little more for groceries in order not to be forced to use the self-checkout. Saturday there wasnt a single staffed checkout lane. There were three to five employees in the self-checkout helping confused and literally angry customers. If they had put those same staff members to work in a traditional line checking out the customers, it would have rapidly cleared the bottleneck and engendered a lot more goodwill from customers. I hate this particular Walmart for this management decision.

Hard to find parking close to entrances. So bring your walking shoes. Self checkout is quickest and easiest way to get out of there and avoid standing in long lines.

Granted I was there as the store was starting to wind down for the day, but a bit more assistance and ability to find someone to ask for help would be nice.

Large selection with good service. No complaints.

I can stay well supplied with tackle , bait, and lures right here at this Walmart !

Extremely knowledgeable associates about products they sell and if they dont have what youre looking for they will help you locate.

I hate hate hate being a cashier. The check people were very helpful. This a good thing because several of our items were persnickety.

I hate to put two stars and to rate such a huge store on just a couple of employees but sometimes, that’s all it takes. It’s trashy in the parking lot at night and not somewhere I feel safe or like to be alone when the sun goes down.. half the time they can’t find the item on the shelf that they say they have in stock. My biggest complaint is whenever I have to call - the phone rings FOREVER and when I finally get someone, they’re so eager to transfer me that half the time they don’t even let me get my entire question out before transferring me to and endless ringer AGAIN. Eventually it switches us back to the queue and the process is repeated…

Great location, most relaxed WallMart in town, you have elbow room, not as congested, and overhead lights are way nicer, not the annoying bright florescent lights like most Walmart stores.

Worst wamart I have been too. SELF CHECK OUT ONLY. . I wish I would have know that before filling a cart full. And having 2 kids with me while 8 months prego. Customer service is trash.

First off fix your online ordering it has failed me 2x said its still pending..... Then today I go in get a fan because I need one and cant trust online ordering/pickup... I pay for my fan.... the lady SEEN me come out the self checkout the lady in front on me had a cart full but I get harassed on the way out iv been up all night and 1/2 the day all I wasn is my dam fan to cool.off and go to bed

You can find all common household products & groceries..., gardening stuff, few furnitures/hardware tools & some useful auto stuff.Its more of a min-supercenter.

The prices for the same items at Walmart are much lower then the big box stores. I spend around 120 dollars and at a big market, its 40 -60 more. Same items. Do the math.

This place has great staff members, even if I witnessed a staff member speak of a customer on the floor which was my mom. Other then that one moment it is a great Walmart and super friendly

Sorry to be brief but it is a Walmart and many times these community stories take on the identity of the community, this one is no different and with the influx of new houses and people in my opinion the overall quality of the stores infrastructure may get worse.Same lady is always very nice when I enter and for the most part the staff is always engaging but this location does get crowded so you may wanna save any serious labour intensive shopping for the early hrs or off course a couple hours prior to closing...Good Luck...

Cant even get a live cashier anymore, I hate this business

The staff obviously needs more training because they seriously lack some. Been coming here for a long time now and I am one of the pioneers when this branch started and the staff are nothing but under trained. The staff (I noticed) would clump up together at the middle of the self-checkout and when we come here, I noticed how they would blatantly hang around us (I have 2 kids) and it honestly is offensive because they made me feel like they dont trust that I can pay for the stuff we bought. I noticed how theyd keep checking out with whatever we bought and I dont like how it comes off because the way they behave is like theyre tagging me and my family that we cant pay. How did I come up with that? Oh I dont know... MAYBE BECAUSE THEY DONT EVEN ASK IF WE HAVE A PROBLEM AND THEIR BODY LANGUAGE CLEARLY SPEAKS VOLUME ABOUT THEIR OPINION OF US.This attitude they have towards customers like us is disappointing and they need more training in customer service. No one even greets you in this store. Ive been to other Walmarts in the area and this branch in Houghton is sadly disappointing.To the Operations Manager, Branch Manager and HR:PLEASE RETRAIN YOUR STAFF AND TEACH THEM TO BE MORE DISCREET AND BE MORE POLITE! IF YOU CANT EVEN TEACH YOUR STAFF HOW TO SHOW GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, MAYBE YOU SHOULD DROP THE SELF CHECKOUT AND JUST OPT FOR HAVING CASHIERS INSTEAD OF MAKING US, YOUR CUSTOMERS, FEEL LIKE WE CANT PAY FOR THE THINGS WE BUY!

I’ve been doing curbside pickup here recently.I’m very impressed with the service, they usually have all the items I ordered in stock. The people that bring the orders out to the customers are so friendly. I would recommend this location for pickup

Xxld order. Not available for curbside is my grocery list. Too many items out of stock and no substitute offered. No coffee or creamer. What has happened to you? Done curbside for over a year will go elsewhere now. What a let down.

They have a variety of things like if youre going over clothes they have a pretty good variety if youre going to have a baby stuff Im really good variety if youre going there for hygiene most definitely good variety. Very good quality stuff and let me tell you the customer service has definitely gotten better from a few years ago I would have waited this place like a few years ago!

I dont know if all the Walmarts are doing this now, but this one has almost all of the checkouts as self-checkouts. They do have A LOT of self check stations, though, so you really dont have to wait long, if at all. They only have a couple of checkout lines that have a person to do your checking out for you. Now, this doesnt bother me, but I know some people dont like this.

They had what I wanted and its a good location but its 4 stars because people take stuff out of my cart for themselves 👀👎

I never have a problem finding what I need there. Always a good place for me to shop. Im there so often some of the staff even know me by name.

Always disorganized throughout the store. Ive seen so many empty flat beds just sitting around the store even seen some kids trying to play with them and they could have been hurt

Love this walmart. The staff is super sweet and helpful. I love that I am greeted as soon as Im walking in and as I leave. Theres so many employees at the self check out to help everyone out. The lines are never long and place is always pretty clean.

One of the best of all Walmarts and I have visited them all coast to coast. A bit more laid back and friendly. Walmart has that reputation, however, this is a pleasant location.

They really don’t have things I want. I have bought a few things and they do deliver pretty fast but I usually am disappointed when I search and they show they have it but they don’t.

Needed essential items to eat. Arrived at 10:26pm was aware that this location closed at 11pm. So my husband split our list. At 10:43pm I had collected all items I needed and proceeded to walk down the main aisle to find my husband. An employee yelled at me that the store was closed. I tried to tell him I was just trying to find my husband... He yelled again and actually used his body to physically block the aisle. He proceeded to come closer and closer forcing me in the opposite direction of my husband. I purposely go to the store at the last minute to prevent triggering my agoraphobia. Then as we are checking out we had one employee who was hovering over us the entire time at the register. Then we went to exit the store and we had someone who wanted to see our receipt and go through all our purchase items. Then as we got outside of the store it happened again another employee stopped us to look at our receipt and items. This was the worst experience Ive ever had at Walmart and I will not go to this location again.

Not enough help. Needed battery for watch,, first time I went they gave me the wrong battery,, took it back,,I wanted the $1 battery, took 20 minutes for someone to go get the key,, then she says battery not in here,,,, uh,, yes it is,, right there. So,,,, yes this day and age,, no employees,,, or the over worked ones Wal Mart does have,,, to the point employees say,, not my department,,,, not my department, not my department,,, so you have to go look for help. Thats the way of the world!!

I mean, its a grocery store. It has decent clothes though for cheap. Not all of them hold up but most of them do.

Working for a place that contracts with Walmart is horrible there is no communication there is no training no wonder nobody can find anything in Walmart it is a chaotic system that they have for employees

They had everything I needed. This Walmart has way better checkouts than the one on Speedway. The self checkout isles have room for 7 or more bags, unlike the one on speedway where there is only room for 2.

Wal-Mart is the best !Great prices on just about everything, easy check out process( although i wish they would change over to walk in/walk out style payment systems so everything is paid for as you walk out with your bagged stuff) and the help is available for any question. Store always well kept and plenty of parking.I love how Walmart allows my furry friends to come with, especially in this hot desert climate. The store is always cool and comphy. Love Walmart !!!

Even if I wanted to I can never return after I saw someone pull down their mask and sneezed, put their mask back up and continued on. I ran out of there like a zombie apocalypse was coming. Nope!

I love this location. No matter how full it seems to be from the parking lot, checkout is always super quick since they have such a streamlined and massive self checkout system.

Everything was good except there was only 1 cash register open and according to the BBB there’s always supposed to be at least 2 on duty and when I said something to the manager he said there’s not enough people but he was standing around with his hands in his pockets telling people how much ammo they can buy.🤨

If its not bagged be prepared to show your receipt. The lady M-F in the morning will yell loud at you to stop and cause a huge scene. She will also argue with you if you dont show the receipt. I didnt sign a contract to show my receipt walking out the door. If Walmart is afraid of theft, bring back the cashiers

It was different,, all self service check out,, ALOT of them!! But no lines,,no waiting,,use the Walmart app and everything is easy to find. The app also tells you if its in store or not and if its not in store you can order it and ship to home or store.

The workers are very nice.

This was my first time in this store and me and my friends shared a basket. The lady at the door was very rude accusing us of stealing because what was on my friend receipt was was not all that was in the basket. I walked up and explained that we have 2 separate receipts but shared the shopping cart. She insisted on still checking every item on the list. This is horrible that because of the color of our skin she decided to still after explaining to her what was going she continued to embarrass and humiliate us. Will not be returning to this location.

Had some returns, the process was quick and painless. The selection for replacement was a little thin, but I was able to find what I needed.

Well organized and clean. You can only turn right (north) from the parking lot onto Houghton. If you want to turn left (south), be sure to turn onto Golf Links on the north side of the parking lot first.

I went here to pay my credit card and the lady was very helpful in suggesting I only pay $10 if Im sending my payment with a different code than the one with the fee.

Its walmart.... what more can I say... I needed socks.
