Very awesome to work with and their food is spot on. I like to do the cooking but when you dont have enough burners or oven racks they would love to help you out. Very professional. I will give them a call every time. Guaranteed satisfaction.

We used Engroff’s for our wedding on 4/10/21 and couldn’t be happier. Rosie Newman was excellent in communicating with us about our order and details. The staff was friendly and professional, and we appreciated how they boxed up our leftovers for us to pick up the next day. Everyone absolutely loved the Chicken Cordon Bleu casserole and Italian salad. Definitely recommend to anyone looking!

Attended a wedding this past weekend and was very disappointed in the food and service. I have heard great things about Abouds/Engroffs and they did not live up to what i had heard. The food was ice cold and the chicken was dry. The staff in the line i went through were rude when asking for different portions and would not give people more food when they asked them. They had more than enough food and the wedding party asked everyone to eat more due to attendance was down due to covid. I personally would not recommend this company and personally would not use them.

Canceled 4 Days Before Event! Unprofessional! I just found out the Charity Event I bought 3 tickets to this Saturday had to be cancelled due to Engroff Catering reneging on their agreement with the Fight 4 Light Foundation. Apparently they didnt think the price of the tickets were high enough for it to be worth it to them even though they had agreed to donate everything in trade for their name being advertised for a month plus tax write offs. How sad and unprofessional! Especially since its less than 4 days before the event. Im disappointed and I know this is costing the Charity organization money. I hope they can recover their costs somehow!

I didnt have a chance to try Abouds before hiring them for a shower I held. They exceeded my expectations, to say the least! They were incredible. The process from beginning to end was seamless. Abouds was professional, courteous, and patient with all of my requests. They were even able to create a few of my ideas, even though they werent available on their menu. All the guests LOVED the food Abouds created for us. I HIGHLY recommend them!

We have had the pleasure of working with Abouds Catering for several family events.They are so easy to work with and will try to accommodate your every need and even changes should it become necessary.Although they have suggested menus, they will happily mix and match to come up with a menu of your preferenceThey arrive at the selected time and set up unobtrusively.While we found their food delicious, nothing can top their Honey Pecan Chicken! Super! We highly recommend their services.

Engroff agreed to donate food for our charity fundraising event for victims of stalking. After a month of the free advertising they received from us, they waited until 4 days before the event to back out because they did not feel the $420 we raised was good enough to waste their time.We are a nonprofit and the food donated would be a write-off for them regardless of how much money we raised. There was never an agreement dependent upon us raising a certain amount of money. Our ticket prices were never discussed with them when they agreed to the donation.However, they saw on Facebook that we had posted tickets for a price of $65 originally, but then lowered the prices in hopes of selling more tickets. Their reason for cancelling the donation was because they felt we wouldnt be getting enough money in donations, and would only agree to keep their end of the deal if we could sell all tickets at the original $65 price.We ended up having to cancel the event after we had just sold out of tickets 4 days before the event. We now will have to give back all the money that was raised for these poor victims, and then some. Not to mention the losses we will now incur.They are extremely unprofessional and heartless people. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Overall, a great experience. Hired the catering for our wedding and the food was great! They even made some minor changes to the recipe to fit our liking. Amanda, the manager who met with us at the tasting, was very nice, receptive and offered us a variety of choices to fit our budget and reception style. This company seems to be one that actually cares about all of its local people...even beyond the customer...which is what made this place stand out to me.

Abouds catering handled our wedding in October 2014. These folks were extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs. I am referring to the entire staff. Whether you call on the phone or email, you will receive professional and courteous folks. Earlier in the year, we sat down for taste testing and i will say OMG to everything i tasted. It was hard to narrow it down. We finally decided on the Sliced Roast Brisket w/Jack Daniels Glaze & Parmesan Crusted Chicken. The sides was so tasty as well: Alfredo Sauce, Twice Baked Potato Casserole, Seasoned Green Beans and Dinner rolls. For the appetizer, we chose cheese and grapes platter.Two thumbs up for this catering company. If i lived in the Topeka / Lawrence KS area, i would use them again.Giving extra shout-out to: Cheri - operations manager, Amanda - sales manager, and Clinton office manager

Engroff (formally Abouds) catered my grandmothers funeral service. The food was delicious. The price was very reasonable. The staff was very professional and courteous.

We paid for a drink station for our outdoor wedding this past May and asked that they come out early to set it up since it was in the high 90s. Abouds agreed that they would have it be the first thing they set up, yet they wouldnt let our guests use it until dinner was served which was misleading and had an impact on how many drinks we brought out for our guests ahead of time. They also made it so only their staff could serve drinks from the station. Extremely disappointed in how I was misled about this service. Some people were leaving early due to extreme heat and how hard Abouds made it to simply get some water.

I rarely write reviews but feel I need to give a big thank you to Abouds catering. We attended a special event at the Dillon Mansion in Topeka KS. over the holiday. Many of the guests traveled a long distance that evening and were tired and hungry. The food was outstanding and cocktails delicious! We all had seconds ( and thirds)! The entire staff was super friendly too and the Dillon mansion is gorgeous. We would love for Abouds to host one of our corporate events back in O.P. Thank you for a lovely evening!

For several years now, Abouds Catering has catered an annual fundraising dance I chair for a non-profit. We can always count on their food to be delicious and attractively displayed and their employees to be friendly, helpful and competent. I would give Abouds six stars if I had that option.

We have used Abouds many times to Cater lunch for our Employees. They have outdone themselves every time. The food is Hot, Fresh, Delivered On Time, and most importantly, Delicious! I would recommend them for any event that you need catered.

We hired Abouds to cater our wedding and wouldn’t have had it any other way. They were so helpful in every aspect. I’ll note a couple of examples. When we first went to pick out our meal and have our tasting I (being the bridezilla I was) wanted Macaroni & Cheese as a side dish. It wasn’t on their original menu but when I brought it up to Amanda she said they could put something together for us and they did. It was wonderful! I wanted that little something different for the wedding and Abouds pulled through. Also, about 1 month before the wedding we had let go the original lady that was going to do our bartending and linens. I contacted Abouds and they told us they could do both for us. We provided our own alcohol but Abouds set everything up for us and went and picked up the kegs and brought them back to the liquor store. The bartender was great, courteous and very professional. We were also able to get into the venue the day before to set up so Abouds came and set up the linens and as much of the catering equipment they could to make the wedding day go as smooth as possible. Also, we had one hiccup in the wedding and forgot to get soda, so when it came cocktail hour there wasn’t any soda for people to drink, just alcohol and mixers. Abouds went and got a bunch of soda for the wedding for us at the last minute which was SO helpful in a time of need! Also, we had just over 30 tables and the Abouds staff helped tear down some of our centerpieces after the wedding which we were so grateful for, it really helped facilitate a quick tear down. All in all hiring Abouds was one of the best decisions we made when we planned our wedding. Amanda Morrow the sales manager was so easy to work with and wanted the best for us. She was fantastic and helped out so much. My husband’s family has hired Abouds for 4 weddings now (including mine) and each time it has been such a great experience. The food and customer service was exceptional. I would hire Abouds again in a heartbeat!
