I love this shop! The staff are always helpful in finding the perfect outfit for any event. They are a very inclusive environment. Also, you cannot beat the prices for vintage clothing anywhere!

If you want great vintage stuff for great prices look no further. Adorable and affordable seems too good to be true, but Allison and her team do their best to price their wares fairly for everyone. Make sure to check out their IG feed for new arrivals too- good finds can come and go in the span of a couple hours! There’s also always cool, random stuff adding to the aesthetic of the shop- and a lot of it is for sale too! I swear half my wardrobe is from Dow and I wouldn’t have it any other way. AND they take trade-ins of quality vintage garments for store credit!!

Love that this business still requires masks! Keeping their employees and customers safe is important and shows a level of care for the community that is not often seen. Mask mandates were lifted too early. Happy to see small businesses requiring safety measures.

House of Dow has an amazing and always-growing collection of vintage wears and goods. I love the clothes and my son loves the selection of toys. The owner and staff are always kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful.

So again we went in to the house of Dow. We were reluctant because the last time we walked in our six-year-old son did not have a mask. And after trying to communicate with him with our masks down only for a second.. We were rudely told to put the masks back on. We thought this rude in the way that the person said it. And in fact at the time the law clearly stated if you have to communicate you are allowed to drop the mask so that the person can see your lips.Today again we decided to visit hoping this very rude person was not working. As we walked in..she exclaimed l( same person) loudly and very rude that we had to wear a mask..Now I decided to ask why.I said it is not a requirement by either of the governor or the CDC. Everybody in the world has dropped the mask but you. So I asked her why? She looked dumbfounded and said I was yelling at her.. I said no...people are sick and tired of masks.She responded with asking me to leave the store. In which I replied.. its obvious Im going to leave your store but not until I ask you a question and you give me an honest answer. Why are you the only one in the whole world requiring masks when you have no medical Theory to backup the rule? She replied that she cares about people. And I said.. No you do not care about people. You get off on having the power to tell people to put a mask on. We left after I wished her a good day. This millennial needs a lesson in manners..she needs to have 20 - 30 purple picket the store. Shes obviously very arrogant and politically motivated person. Her ignorance far extends her purpose for being there .. I dont think She cares for people who look straight..for they may be a TRUMP supporter.... Wow... Poor kid..get over yourself. This was my wifes favorite store to go to and as long as this person is employed she refuses to walk in. Looks like youre losing business (Left and Right) What a shame.

This is a vintage store that I thought I would check out they have a lot of vintage items. Jewelry clothing hats all sorts of things that I never seen before. Check them out you might find something vintage that you fall in love with.

The owner and staff here are some of the best in the city, they actually care about our community and always make everyone feel welcome. I never mind putting on a mask here, especially knowing I’m doing my part to keep my stylish and immunocompromised neighbors safe❤️❤️ thanks for all you do!

I was kicked out of this store for entering without a mask even though the state of Ohio and the CDC no longer requires vaccinated people to wear a mask inside. The staff person immediately instructed us to put on a mask. I asked is that still a requirement? and she said if you dont like it you can leave. At this point that is a political decision not a science-based decision. No one asked if we were vaccinated or had a medical reason not to wear a mask, we were just told to get out in an abrupt and rude way. This clearly indicated the staff member was not concerned about keeping us as customers but about enforcing their political views on the public. If managements policy is to not serve customers who dont align with their political views then I feel that is discrimination. If you do not want live in a country of permanent masks and a denial of service to people for political reasons then dont spend your money here because apparently they do. I love this stores inventory and almost always find something to buy which is why we always stop there whenever we are in Toledo, but that is over unless the owner can get over herself and stop requiring masks when thats now above and beyond what is required by the state rules.

Long time friend and customer here. I just want to say that I 100% support private businesses continuing to require masks. Our immunocompromised friends and family members may not have had a protective response even if they have received the vaccine. How do I know? Im a critical care physician in a solid organ transplant unit. Even though I myself am not immunocompromised I continue to wear a mask in public because I am regularly exposed to covid and it is the right thing to do to protect others. Now I will descend from my soap box and just say that the ninja turtle belt I bought here was the gift that my friend would not stop talking about. Lets take care of eachother!

An absolute Toledo gem and must-see. The pieces are carefully curated and are all of astounding quality. There is always an amazing sales rack and so many good deals! The owner is so resourceful, helpful, and thoughtful. Her staff is just as wonderful. Ive never walked out empty-handed, there is always something exciting to be found here. 10/10 favorite store in Toledo

Check my google this is my first negative review.Such a shame the rude employee ruined my visitI was welcomed with “just so you know we close in 30 minutes” and that’s totally fine I left my meal at poco to make it in time we start browsing picked a few things then were about to check out when we were reminded “we close in 15 minutes” I don’t need reminded on how time works when trying to enjoy the wonderful collection of vintage so nicely displayed I was so excited to visit and now will never be back

This is almost exclusively where I get my clothes, they get new stuff frequently so theres always a reason to go. They have a massive jewelry selection and they have vintage clothes from most decades. They have a plus size section too, which I have almost never seen in vintage shops. Overall such a great store and I will forever encourage people to go there

Terrible people worst experience Ive ever had would not let me in there establishment because I was not vaccinated. Treated us like trash, threw our stuff on the sidewalk have everything on video. Can not believe people like this are in business. The owner is an absolute terrible person.

If you are looking for overpriced low grade vintage, this is your place. The first rack I looked at had a Tweety bird tank top from the 2000s (which is not even vintage!), the rest of the rack was laughable. Left with nothing and headed to the thrift store and found amazing 70s bell bottoms for only $3.99 as well as amazing vintage for .99 and 2.99 my advice would be to skip this place and head to the thrift instead 🤣

Always professional service. Wide range of reasonable prices. Mostly late vintage (80s) but some 60s gems. Good quality items. Jewelry as well-new handmade pieces, some old but all high quality. Free parking just a few yards away.

I absolutely love this vintage shop! Its a fun and welcoming place! The selection is always excellent. They have a plus size section and theyre LGBT+ friendly which I personally find comforting and important when Im with friends! I love their handmade accessories too! I recommend this store to my friends every chance I get. Definitely a wonderful local store!

Oh, my gosh, this place is FANTASTIC! First, they have absolutely beautiful things, in fantastic condition. Second, they are affordable, in a nice clean, easy to browse store. But third, and MOST importantly, the girls there are PHENOMENALY AMAZING. They got things down from high displays, and mannequins, and shelves, so I could look at and try them on. They WATCHED MY CHILDREN so that I could try things on in peace. They rang us out four or five times, because we kept finding more things that *needed* to come home with me. And all of this with a cheerful smile, or a laugh. This is my new favorite store, and I already am making plans to take my sister tomorrow.

Great place to find interesting things. Clothes are only the start. There are lots of weird unique things that you will want to take home and make yours. Great stuff. Even though everything is super reasonably priced, bring money -- you will be glad you did. The people are great and they have events there too.

House of Dow is the best place in the area to find vintage and unique clothes. There is even a plus size area which is rare for vintage. The shop owner and sales people are friendly and very helpful if you are looking to find a specific item. Ive gotten some wonderful deals there and I always make a point of stopping by often to see new items.

Incredible shop with lots to find. My favorite thing is the conglomeration of all clothes without specific labels of male and female clothes (since clothes don’t have gender and all) which I feel really opens the possibilities to find whatever fits. Have gotten sport coats, shirts, bathing suits and some other accessories here. The owner is a badass who regularly helps out the community she operates within

I went for their 5 dollar bag sale thing. Not enough honestly, also I feel like they need to space the clothes bars out, it just felt like everyone was packed in and forced to be kind of be rude to each other just to be able to look. Id only go back to the sale if I got there mega early to be one of the first people there. Inside, the clothes are okay.. I could find most pieces at salvation army and for cheaper. Staff seems nice however so theres that.

Not a bad place, but needs more selection of foot wear along with a better categorization for dresses and skirts. Went with a model for attire and was confused at the layout.
