They were so nice, even with me being late i was lucky enough to be able to move my appointment back a bit. Jaycee was quick and I thought thorough but she left quite a lot of hair, which i noticed once I had a chance to fully look while at home. She was really nice though, and made me feel comfortable with it being my first time ever waxing professionally or not myself lol

I bought a wax pass that included 12 visits for a Brazilian wax. And for how much I paid, it was not worth it at all and I know you can get much better quality service somewhere else. There is nothing consistent with this place. Employee turnover is very high, so even if you do finally get a good specialist, she won’t be there long. I only had 1 good specialist in my 12 month experience. Every other girl I had I was very unhappy with. I always had to return within a week to get a touch up done because there was always a lot missed. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will not ever be going back. Unless you want to pay high prices for low quality, I’d recommend going anywhere else but here.

I came in to get a Brazilian the lady in charge was arguing with a customer who was dissatisfied with her treatment. I then got my Brazilian and honestly it was the most terrifying experience. I’ve been getting waxed for 10 years. I still paid for my service and tipped because I didn’t want the manager to take more frustration out on another dissatisfied customer. I won’t be returning to this location.

It was my first time in, the esthetician could not get me out of her chair faster. :( I was trying to explain what I wanted done, and she said hmm, and slabbed wax on my EYELIDS and eyebrows ( ouch ) I said again I’d like them “this way please” and I was ignored with silence and her rushing to get me out of her chair! I now have no eyebrows and NO shape... I called to let them know, and they said, “ sorry, have a nice day” I won’t be back. The appointment time took 4 minutes total. Not impressed!

I believe I am going on 8 weeks since my first leg wax of the season and I came to EWC (this location) for my first time. Let’s just say I’m not thrilled and wasn’t as the time of service either. I hesitated leaving a review since I had known my waxer personally but also work in the cosmetology field as a nail tech and understand when technicians run late and love to keep a smile on my face over complaining in person. I also used to work with the nail tech who the owner (I believe) uses and don’t like putting a bad taste in other’s mouths about my own professionalism.Not only was I paying full price and being treated like a friend versus a client, but my wax was rushed through, she wasn’t holding the skin taunt to prevent pain, and didn’t bother to tweeze a single leftover hair, or wax the back of my calves.I started to get bad and painful razor bumps (mind you I have not shaved since) the first week of May and never struggled with this prior unless I start waxing that area of my body.I used to have a phenomenal waxer that no longer works for Waxed in the Glass City that was actually spending 15-20 mins on my lower leg waxes instead of 5 mins to make sure she had covered the entire surface.My waxer (who I will not name) was also new to the esthetician side of the industry by just slightly less than a year. She had no business rushing thru my service while letting me talk to her unless she had the proper lighting to see up close and the skills of multi-tasking to do so.Looks like based of other reviews regarding the customer service, I unfortunately won’t be returning which is a shame given the prime location.

Had a Brazilian wax scheduled at this location and an hour and a half before my appointment I got a text saying my appointment was canceled because Morgan couldnt keep this reservation I called to have it rescheduled for later in the day & they said they couldnt fit me in their schedule.

I have been a EWC customer for almost 5 years.. about an year and a half at this location. Melanie was my waxer before she left. After she left, I have really struggled to find a waxer that fit my schedule. Fayth was good but doesn’t meet my schedule. The other 2 waxers I had were extremely disappointing. I’ve asked for the more experienced waxer and I got someone who had only been waxing for a month..... Every time I come the recommend a different product than the last.... I feel like they just try and get you to buy products and then change their mind if you’re using one already. My last waxer literally did not speak to me the entire time I was there until I asked her a question. I am so disappointed and plan on leaving when my wax pass is up.

It was my first time time there. Everyone was friendly and professional. The salon is very clean. The young lady that did my eyebrows was also very sweet. The issue that I have is that the next day, I looked in the mirror, and had a burn right over my eyebrow from the wax. She did ask as she was applying it if it was too hot, more than once, and although it didnt feel that bad, apprantly it was. My eyebrows look pretty good, butIm a little nervous about going back, paying $20, and getting burned again.

I’ll start off by saying my first visit here went well and I liked it. I was in and out in a decent time and the work was great. My second visit however rubbed me the wrong way. I showed up to my appointment on time and called to check in (new COVID protocols) but nobody answered the phone. I saw through the front that the receptionists were engaged with other customers so I figured I’d give them some time to finish up so I could call back. The guests were still tied up in the lobby but I still needed to check in so I checked the website for an alternative number and saw they offered online check in. By the time I navigated the site and found my specific location and did the online check in I’d supposedly missed the 5 minute grace period for check in and got a call shortly telling me I had to reschedule. I was pretty irritated considering I explained that I was present but the phone wasn’t answered but they insisted I reschedule. Okay fine, I’m not gonna make a huge deal about it and decided to reschedule for another day. About two days later i get a call saying I need to reschedule my appointment again due to a scheduling conflict... I was willing to let the first mishap go because I’m pretty understanding but one of my biggest pet peeves is feeling like my time is being wasted. I wasted an hour the first time driving 30 mins to my appointment and then having to turn right back around and drive 30 minutes back home and then being told for a second time that I need to reschedule. I understand COVID has changed a lot of things and i can understand being busy and not being able to check people in promptly but the client shouldn’t be inconvenienced because the staff is backed up. If you decide to go here either get here super early to leave room for mishaps or leave a voicemail when they don’t answer so there’s a time stamp on when you got there

Went for a Brazilian and lower leg wax my appointment was at 10:45. I got looked over and waited 45 min for my appointment. They were very apologetic and applied a discount for the inconvenience. Other then that mistake because I understand things happen it was an amazing experience. This was my first time ever being waxed and I made my next appointment at check out.

I called to schedule my girlfriend an appointment for a waxing service and was greeted with friendly and upbeat customer service on the phone. The girl was very informative and eager to thoroughly answer the many questions I had. This was very refreshing. My girlfriend is looking forward to her service this coming weekend.

I highly recommend Karissa, she did an amazing job on my daughters eyebrows they are perfect! It was my daughters first experience and Karissa made her feel very comfortable! We are definitely coming back!

This center is so polite and professional! Their free eyebrow deal for new customers is amazing. I came back for a leg wax and have saved so much time shaving. I cant wait to start doing my underarms. They were quick, affordable, and friendly. They also sell great products that make my skin feel so soft and prevent new hair growth.

It was my first time and I hate to say it but I hated the experience just for the fact because of the wax specialist, very rude left hairs all over my legs and rushed through it, the other person I was with got in before me and then I got in after like 15-20 minutes later and I came out first and waited another 20-30 minutes for the other person to come out.... I mean just rushed through it and left so many hairs.....

I have been going to European Wax Center for a few months now and have always had a wonderful experience! Morgan is my main go to girl and she does an amazing job! I spoke with a receptionist I believe I name was Tianna. I had a bunch of question and she was so patient and helpful as I’ve never had a wax before. Even told me to stop in and grab a sample of their exfoliating wash to use before my wax to ensure i get the best results! With her being my first encounter I can’t wait to get waxed!

I have a very busy life style so dont have a lot of time for beauty regimens. A friend of mine from Louisiana told me about European Wax Center and being that I live in Perrysburg, Toledo is the closest location to me. I wish there was one even closer to my home! I have been to European Wax Center Toledo, Ohio location a handful of times and always have a good experience. I now visit religiously every 4 weeks. They get me in and out quickly and efficiently! The front desk staff is always very pleasant and helpful when I walk in especially with telling me how I can save with the Wax Passes they offer. The facility is always clean anytime I have been in. Ive been to numerous specialists and each one I have been to has been very thorough and educates me on what I can do to enhance my waxing experience. I am obsessed with thier graceful body polish and ingrown hair wipes!! If you need fast and thorough waxing done in Toledo, Ohio definitely give European Wax Center a try.

Front desk staff was very nice. However, do NOT schedule an appointment with Karissa. She over-waxed my brows and they are now uneven and too thin, even after I told her I only wanted a touch up. I should of ran from the appointment the moment she started telling me the story of how she was majorly hungover at work the day before. Big yikes!!

Megan was wonderful. She was very professional. The wax that had previosly taken an hour (at another salon) took 10-15 minutes. You hear about waxing being ‘virtually painless’ right? Bs is exactly what ive thought and had been my experience but not here!! The actual rip you feel but there is so much leas pain then anywhere i have ever been before!! I went to get an eyebrow wax. My eyebrows had NO shape or arch. I hated them and now I’m walking around looking surprised with thin eyebrows because I needed to get them fixed. :( I’ll never go back here.

I was told I dont need my brows waxed and then was asked if my mom was waiting for me when a woman arrived out front because the lady who waxed my brows said me and my friend both looked 12. I can certainly take a joke but the tone the whole time was nothing but nasty and rude. First and last time getting anything from there.
