I am so floored at the way they treat patients. I should not have to deal with this kind of attitude for needing supplies. My pulomanry office was fuming and handling it. Will more than likely have to change providers. Unacceptable behavior. If you or a loved one is spoken to as if they are a bother or The are stupid or they are doing something wrinf take it to your doctor and the ADA. Never allow this kind of treatment from someone who answers phones.

I returned my husbands equipment since we were told insurance would not cover it. Thankfully, I insisted on getting a receipt and we have provided this information to them on multiple occasions. Yet we continue to receive collection letters with threats of further collection activity (most recently a notice dated July 28, 2021). Appalling and fraudulent billing practices.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Even when trying to explain their error (a very obvious one), they were dismissive. I felt like the person on the phone, who was at the local office, not the 1-800 number, was actually enjoying not helping. What a shame that a company whos purpose is to care for people with an illness, cannot show enough compassion to listen, or even attempt to help.

Today I paid my last Lincare bill and I have already began celebrating. I received supplies from this company for two years and will never even consider going back. The customer service is an absolute joke, their representatives are rude and do not care about their customers. The initial meeting I had with a Lincare representative was an absolute nightmare and I was treated like garbage from my first encounter with their office in Salem Oregon. All I can say is that I am extremely happy to never have to deal with this company again. If you have ANY other option then Lincare I would suggest you take it.

Avoid this company at ALL COST!! Be aware of predators - the director Shan Galloway, Manager - Stephanie (dont have her last name), and RT - Kristina Cox. This group of liars have conned me out of $900+ dollars by tell me that my insurance coverage would take care of 90% of cost. I was encouraged to go though Lincare and not seek to buy outside from a website. I was even told by Kristina that I would be foolish to buy the products I needed from a retail website location.Even after Lincare admitted guilt, wrongdoing, and that it was their mistake...Shan Galloway said that HIS mangers told him there is noting they can do. This is after Shan personally admitted their wrongdoing in the matter and ensured that he would make it right.Their mission says - to set the standard for excellence and their corporate Integrity and ethics principle - The fundamental principle governing Corporate actions and the actions of employees and officers is that ethics and business are inseparable at LINCARE.You CANNOT say this and knowingly and proactively take advantage of your customers.

Absolutely would not recommend. I was referred to their office for critical medical equipment. Well over a month went by, and I never heard from them. I called multiple, multiple times. On the rare occasion that I actually reached someone in their office on the phone, they refused to explain what the hold up was, never took notes on the calls (there was literally no record of me calling over and over again!), and were downright rude and didnt seem to mind that I wasnt getting called back. Each person kept telling me they would call me back -- which, as you can imagine, never happened.I am switching my referral elsewhere -- I dont want to have to deal with this unprofessional office over and over again for medical equipment.

The people at the Portland Lincare are top notch. They helped me with portable sleep study gear so I could sleep overnight at a location of my choice. Very happy with my experience.

My husband and I traveled to Portland from North Carolina with a portable concentrator. He was already very stressed because of Hurricane Florence so he decided he was going to need to use it on the plane going home. Delta required 3 batteries or a very very long layover. He called Jordan for help and she was wonderful. She had a battery for us and resolved all our problems. The entire office was very helpful and concerned. Thank you Lincare.

Not even remotely professional. I was constantly being given conflicting information and eventually had to have my doctor call them on the carpet just to get my equipment issued. I had an issue with my machine and said I would drive to them to get the right part. I was told three times it would be delivered. No delivery. No call. The after-hours person had no way to check if it was coming and gave me attitude about it. I guess I don’t need my medical equipment or to be shown some courtesy?Second star for the girl who issued the equipment who was amazing. Everything else has been a nightmare.

I have been using Lincare for almost a year and have NO problems with the customer service. I called for an equipment exchange for unit that quit working and they were on my porch 2 hours later with new equipment. The representative was pleasant, informative, and polite.

Someone will call you back today- I have heard this over 20 times. No one has EVER called me back. The driver is kind and is doing his best- but the company business model SUCKS! Constant excuses, ridiculous paperwork and billing issues, and poor service overall.

I have to admit.....I read the reviews and was like uh oh. So many unhappy customers saying the same thing. Was this about to be added trouble on top of the long journey Id already been through??!! But it was too late as my Drs office had already submitted my RX.Luckily, my experience couldnt be further from that fear. Not only was every person...from the person who answers the phones to the person that handled my paperwork to the fab and funny person who dropped off and explained my equipment ...incredibly kind and compassionate, but I received my equipment THE SAME DAY!!! Floored by Lincares responsiveness, professionalism and bedside manner. What a great start. Lets hope it sticks

My family had an awful experience. We made arrangements for equipment for our 97 year old grandmother, were assured it would be delivered, but the company never showed up. We waited two weeks, all the while following up, the equipment never came. Terrible company.

An order for a walker was placed by Providence Medical Center for it to be delivered on Friday, July 6th. Calls to Lincare were not answered until late Saturday and the answering service told me to call back on Monday, during business hours. Unfortunately, it was not delivered and during the night my wife got up to go to the bathroom, fell and broke her hip requiring a hip replacement on Sunday. Getting through all the press various numbers takes 15 minutes then you are put on hold because Your call is very important to us and we will be with you in a moment. When she finally did answer it sounded like she was in a room of 500 talking people and very hard to get her to listen to what I needed.

Crystal at the Tigard office is so great to work with. I connected with her during a current ongoing nightmare involving the Lincare billing office located in Florida, whom your automatically transferred to regarding billing questions . I found an unauthorized charge to my bank account by Lincare. After four calls to the Florida office and speaking with six different reps there, no one could explain what the charge was for. During all conversations, Ive explained that per my medical insurance rep. I should have not been charged because my end of insurance year out of pocket/deductibles were maxed . Today I contacted the Tigard office to let them know I was returning the equipment because of the horrific customer service by the Florida Lincare billing office.I spoke with Crystal who was the first to actually explain the reason for the charge even though it was a billing office mistake. Crystal was so kind and personable. Florida Lincare needs to fly her to Florida to give their office a seminar on how to treat people I will not let this Florida billing office issue drop until I see the refund . WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. Ill miss Crystal (5 star) but not the Florida Lincare billing office personnel (0 star).

I called because I had a problem with a damaged medical device and someone recommended Lincare as a provider that would have what I need. I called and was informed that they wouldnt help me because Im not a patient. They would need a prescription. I have a prescription with me, was my reply and they stated it had to be from their office. Simply, if I wasnt already a patient, they wouldnt help me.I had a prescription, I was willing to pay cash (no need to file an insurance claim $$$), would be there in 10 minutes, and I am over 2,600 miles from home needing medical device that Lincare has. I am told Go online and buy what you need. They can deliver it in a few days. I needed it today. Totally unwilling to help me in any way.I wouldnt recommend this provider because they dont care for you unless they can bill your insurance. I was completely shunned once I stated I would be paying for this myself without my insurance involved. My opinion is that meant they couldnt over bill my insurance and so they werent interested in my business. Not lucrative enough for them.I suggest going to MT. Scott Ear, Nose and Throat. They took care of me in seconds and were happy to help me out. A little farther away, but worth the drive!!The above review is based on my personal experience and opinion.

Offensive, rude, neglectful of patients. Call to get a concentrator for a visiting family member, told they didnt get the paperwork until the night before. Called again and was told the paperwork was sent to the wrong office. Called again and was told it would be delivered June 14, 2018. Asked for it to be delivered after a certain time and was told the driver will call. NO CALL, NO SHOW! Called again (4:15 pm) and was told the driver would call when they are 15 minutes out. Called back 1.5 hours later only to find out my previous message wasnt delivered until 5:35pm, after hours, to the answering service. If I were to do that to a patient (home health care worker here) I would be brought up on charges of patient abuse and willful neglect and loose my job. Period. Do Not Go with them, there are other service options available.

Do not use this company. I returned my equipment and closed out my account, paying my balance in full. They then proceeded to bill me and call me and hound me for money and monthly payments for almost a year after I returned everything and paid off my balance! They wont respond to emails or calls unless you are willing to pay them money you dont owe them. Terrible customer service

Lincares Manager Tiffany Jacobsen and her staff went above and beyond to get me a trach mist and suction machine for a patient I had discharging from a Portland Area hospital last minute. They were very friendly and very speedy on finding the equipment out of area and getting it to the hospital the very next day. Their clinician Amy came to the hospital and did a full instruct with the patient while I was in the room with her and made sure that the patient understood everything and could operate by himself. Great experience and will definately be using them in the future. Great Work Lincare!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Absolutely the WORST customer service I have EVER dealt with in any category!!My mother has been diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 recurrent lung cancer and oxygen is a requirement for her daily quality of life. This company routinely is late on oxygen deliveries (if they even deliver the full order, (more often then not, they dont have enough oxygen tanks, terrible customer service when we call in to check on the status of the order that never shows, when we schedule personal oxygen concentrators well in advance, were lucky if they process the order in time for travel AND THEY DELIVER FAULTY EQUIPMENT! When we call before the travel that the p.o.c. that was delivered does not charge nor hold a charge, they disregard it then say that the travel we told them we were doing does not fall under their care and that were stuck with the faulty machine.Again, this is the absolute WORST company I have ever had to deal with!DO NOT USE THEM!

This place is a serious threat to your health. My doctor and I spent months making phone calls and sending faxes that disappeared into a black hole. You may well die waiting for a CPAP from Lincare. I finally gave up and bought a CPAP from Amazon. Why does Lincare claim to supply medical equipment when it doesnt? Why does Social Security force Medicare patients to engage in hopeless attempts to get a CPAP from this place? The answers are known only to the walking dead who work there. (Guess you cant give less than one star)

I called after weeks of waiting for my medical device. The customer service person could not speak English. I spelled my name for him 4 times - Slowly ..P like in Pepper. After put on hold for a few minutes, he came back and asked me to spell it again with the phone number and he would call me back. Im still waiting for that call.

RUN DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How or why this company is in business is a mystery to me. Trying to get a portable oxygen concentrator from them for months now and the only thing I have gotten is the runaround. Customer service is nonexistent, management inept, and the I Care department a joke. Seriously if you can at all do business with a different company, do so.
