Very good customer service. They put the kayak I bought for my husband on top of my car and asked if I needed rope. I brought my own straps so I was good but thought it was nice if then to offer. Everything about my order went great.

As first time voters it was very nice to visit a friendly knowledgeable place like this. Prices are very reasonable.. leading to a possible kid in the candy store experience! Lol

Went to West Marine today for the first time since the shutdown. They do require a mask to enter and they have good social distancing layout and direction throughout the store. Selection is full and the staff is ready to help. Great to have them back.

Derek is always a great source of information for doing your own boat repairs. This is a smaller store. The staff that work here are wonderful.

The staff was friendly and helpful but the place like looked like it was pretty cleaned out. The employees where extremely apologetic about the low inventory. They did have what I was looking for.

If you need boating supplies probably here, if not can order.

Wasted a trip to this West Marine because the online inventory system is worthless. Inventory should be almost at the max of what they carry of this item, but they were out. Employee stated that is basically normal and didnt offer any solutions except the other store which is on the other side of Portland. Went to order online, and there is a shipping fee unless of course I make another trip to the store. This could have been handled in many other ways, but the nonchalant attitude of both the local store employees and the online employees drove me to write this review. Since I cant trust the inventory or the customer service, I will just take my business elsewhere...

Customer service is rough. Theyre not unfriendly, just tough to deal with. You feel like youre bothering them.

The follow up phone call with additional information was helpful and much appreciated. Well be back!

This store doesnt have the variety that the main one has, but does have a lot.

Went in today to pick up a few items and 1 sale item. they had none of the items we needed, we did pick up something not on our list however. I went to register to pay, they couldnt pull up my rewards certificate so I had to get it on my phone. He couldnt scan the bar code, I had to read the 14 digit number to him?? and then I couldnt get a receipt because it wouldnt print. oh and while he is helping me he is explaining to a new person how to print clearance tags.. umm why not work on getting the printer to.print my receipt .. I ordered my items online, which I could have done from home. .

Went there for items to repair my Zodiac boat. They have a decent selection of items. Like any boat store, prices are expensive.

I went to buy a new prop for my boat motor. I was sent home with the wrong prop and the correct hub for that. I went back again and the sales associate was completely sorry and understanding for the mistake. Errors happen. I was so impressed with the professionalism with the way this was handled. End result? Prop shipped to my door. i will use this store for further needs!! BTW, this was a Sunday afternoon! Not many retail marine stores have staff willing to serve like this. :)

If I could give zero stars I would. First of all, while carrying a 20hp motor through the entrance the staff barely even acknowledges us with any eye contact. Helping open the door would of been nice but they opted for ignoring us.They sell us the wrong parts. What more can I do on my end besides bringing the actual motor up to the counter so the staff can see what I need? I’ve had better service at the U scan in Walmart. Helping myself is U scan. That’s where no one helps me much like this place. The jantzen beach location was 5 stars however. Tigard not so much

I was in the store for over minutes and no clerk even approached me. They werent busy.

Store hours listed are incorrect. Drove an hour over here today and they are closed with “winter hours” on the door.

Great friendly staff and lots of harder to find items and parts. They were cheaper for gluvit the Fishermans marine too!

Expensive as hell. A ss hose clamp purchased at Fishermans Marine was $.95, at West Marine it was $2.49. Most products if found elsewhere will be way cheaper. There are a couple knowledge guys in the store but the others know next to nothing about anything Marine.

Small West Marine, but nice. Friendly staff. Typical West Marine high prices, but sometimes you need something right away.

Convenient Boat stuff

Overly expensive compared to Amazon or other online stores, but they have a lot of gear you would need for your watercraft. The staff werent very knowledgeable, but the store itself is pretty good.

Suckfest! Ordered a part to be delivered from one store to another...be here tomorrow..ha! 3 days and waiting...someone wasnt feeling well so they just skipped all deliveries for the 3 days and now I have to spend 2+ hours driving in 4th of july traffic.

Drove from Vancouver to pick up some fuses other places didnt have in stock. They even price matched camping world for me so I didnt have to drive even farther!!!

I expected more. I does have a bit more than Fishermans but not enough to have me driving across town very often.

They seem to have much of what you may need if its boating related. Also, if its not in the store, and they sell it, they say they can order it.Seems like some things were a little pricey compared to other places.

The stores hours of operation are incorrect on both google and website. I would call in before you.

The items I was looking for were a bit pricey. They had a large selection of items though.

Smaller store for sure. Worth popping in every now and then to see sales or if you need something very specific. More geared towards pleasure boating.
