Ever had a business refuse to sell you a product? Well this place is it. About a month ago I noticed they had two 8 kilogram steel clubs (similar to kettlebells) in the back. They reluctantly agreed to sell one to me but not both “because it’s the only thing that keeps the back door open.” Went back to see if they would sell me the other one today and they refused. I even offered to pay more than the last one they sold me. Unreal. Won’t shop here again!

Its a great place and they have a huge selection, and you can get a better deal on a set of golf clubs here then you can just about anywhere else in town

Went for lefty golf club...they had none. There golf club stock is rather low. They do have balls and other misc.

Saw things that cost more used than they do brand new online. Be wary.

Horrendous service, expensive prices for dirty/used goods. You might as well pay the little bit extra to get new goods at Dick’s or elsewhere.You also get close to nothing for the goods that you bring in, and they do not value the customers there.

2 young man staring at their phones the whole time not making eye contact. Neither one had the slightest concern or interest on what I need to purchase. Short answers like I was bothering them. I said the prices are high and he says we dont make em. Great job buddy 👏 👍 👌

I wont do that again!Bought a price of gear for 150 that didnt work out. They bought it back 12 days later for 40. That will certainly teach me not to buy from this place ever again.

Called the Carrolwood location, was told they won’t pick up the phone.Showed up at the location. Saw at least 4 employees and maybe 5 customers.What, they can’t pick up the damn phone?Weak.

Avoid this PIAS. I’ve been to all of them in the area and this one is worst when it comes to sketchy customer service and being overpriced. The owner may not be bad but his workers here are shady and no help. Make the trip to another PIAS. If the worker named T-O then definitely avoid because he took advantage of my wife at the counter sale.

Numerous occasions have I visited this store and only one visit to the Bruce B Downs location, thats all it took. Since day one they have always greeted me, made me feel I was getting a deal, educated me about the process, and the prices... Dicks Who? New or used they have the price and a courteous professional staff. I state this with 25 years of CSR Retail experience they are truly a 5 Star environment. My inspiration to write this review was due to the exceptional customer service we received this Sunday from Justin. Thank you to your entire staff Matt I am yet to have a bad experience at your location.

Good place to buy, terrible place to sell. Website claims they give you 30% but in reality its 18% max, or 24% in store credit. Got a very minimal payout for high end barely used skates.

This place is disgusting they will sell something right underneath you just to make a buck. I would give this store 0 stars if i could.

Poor customer service. Guy was on the phone whole time i was there and i really needed to ask a question but he never acknowledged i was there. I couldnt waste anymore time. The Wesley chapel one is better i feel. They really need to pay more attention to their customers .

This place is similar to a pawn shop that is specifically for athletic sporting goods and fitness equipment. The prices are mostly ok and you can normally find better deals on Craigslist if you have time to look. If youre looking for a little quick cash and have some equipment lying around the house, you can trade it in for cash or store credit. Its a pretty good place to check out from time to time to see whats been traded in.

I walked in and I was the only customer in the store with three employees standing at the counter. I went in with cash with the intention of buying a treadmill. Not one came over and tried to assist me. Ok I can handle that but when I over heard their conversation about a womans chest and how shes a butterface not only is it unprofessional but I didnt feel comfortable being the only customer in there. I left, you guys lost out on a $500-700 sale. Learn some customer service.

Found what I needed at this location. Tried them all in Hillsborough County with no luck. Happy!

This place is extremely overpriced! I found a pair of roller blades there for 100$!!! They are out of their minds if they think they can get that. On top of that, they are actively trying to jip people out of their money. I tried to trade a bat for in-store credit. It was brand new and it had never been used more or less touched. They said theyd give me 10 bucks for it and would turn around and sell it for 25 bucks. I thought that this was strange considering I only paid 16 bucks for the bat brand new at Walmart. How are they going to resell used merchandise for more that its retail price? It is a scam all the way.

Ive shopped here several times and will continue to shop here. The staff was friendly and helped my son find the correct size of baseball bat and glove. Ive have purchased all sorts of sporting equipment and will continue to shop at this Play It Again Sports.

I was not happy with my transaction for my teeter inversion table

I called ahead to confirm they had an item because the store is 30 minutes (one way) out of my way. I got there and they didnt have it. Not going back. Ill find people that respect my time enough to check an items availability before telling me it is in stock.

Way over priced. Charging $15 for new or used resistance band. You can buy an entire set with ankle straps, a sinch sak for storage, and a door anchor for $22 on Amazon with Prime 2day shipping. The used bands were in terrible shape and still marked as high as the new ones. Most of them should of been thrown away. The free weights I wanted only came in a set and they werent willing to split it up. Wont ever go back there.

OVERPRICED! Charging $20 for very beat-up and dirty soccer cleats. Brand and off-brand. They had Adidas beat-up cleats for $20 when you can find the same exact brand and pair new at Dicks for the same price! Went to another thrift store that sells cleats, and got a used pair, not nearly as beat-up, for $8.

Out of their mind! Stopped to look at trading in a $1,800 piece of equipment thats been used about 20 times for a pre-owned elliptical & weight gym. I was offered $400 to trade in against their retail prices...smh.What a bunch of crooks
