I got scammed out of my money. I tried to return something, but they refused to refund it, and gave me a store credit as if I had a giant sign screaming, I AM A LOSER. The staff there have been douches on multiple occasions, especially if they dont have something like, per se, a Klonoa plush, theyd say they dont have it in a very rude tone. also, I almost got less money with the credit, and I had to tell them politely to not do that. I need to stop spending money, as it makes me feel bad, which is why I got myself in this conundrum.

Very cool store. They have a lot of unique things. Very clean store. Very pretty statues of Disney princesses and Disney Villains etc. Gorgeous statues ! Lots of stuffed toys. A lot of collectables etc. The atmosphere is very nice. Very bright and colorful store! A good variety of all things Pop Culture here.

Cute shop with a fun selection for anime-lovers and gamers. We like browsing there and buying some of the yummy snacks they sell in the back whenever we visit Citrus Park Mall. Customer service has always been very welcoming and friendly when we visit.

My children and I went into the one at the tampa premium outlet today. The employee shouted at me because my 3 year old son grabbed a few pens while not wearing a mask. Said if he was going to be touching things he needed to put on his mask. I wouldnt bring children into this store if you are going to shop here. Im not the first person this has happened to.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I wanted to also leave a review for their location in Lutz, but they seem to have no google business set up for that location. Therefore, I will separate my issues in two sections.Citrus Park: my friends and I (friends that I will be pushing to leave reviews as well per their experiences) walked into the Citrus Park mall last week on Thursday to purchase quite a few gunpla kits because we were recommended the store by an employee at a comic shop nearby. Upon arrival, My friends and I were laughing (not obnoxiously mind you) and were immediately met with dirty looks by the employee behind the counter. I don’t want to gender the person as to not get them in trouble because maybe they were having a bad day, but even so, the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. We tried to be nice and immediately quieted down to hushed voices despite not being loud to begin with. To try to fix the situation, I said hi to the employee and was met with no response. A friend tried, but louder, no response still. This was louder than our laughing and the store is insanely small, so I know they heard us and we were just being ignored. The employee sat on their phone THE ENTIRE TIME we were in the store. On top of that, they started eating at the counter with their mask down! We were not issued a greeting or anything and then they just whip out a Dr. Pepper or something and some snacks. When I brought a kit to the counter, I had to wait for the employee to put their phone down (wrapping up a text it looked like), lift their mask, and then cash me out. The only thing they said to us was, “is that all?” with a mouth full of food. They were not polite at all and I decided to put the kit back and opt for gundam from japan or even barnes and noble to not deal with Pop Cult.Lutz: A few days after my horrible experience at the Citrus location, I was walking the tampa premium outlets (I think that’s the name) and saw another Pop Cult their. This one looked massively under construction, but the employee told me it had been like this forever as far as they knew. It’s hideous to say the least, but that’s not the point. It was a change of pace at this location, we were promptly greeted by the employee and they even offered us help finding anything. The two friends I brought with me and I were very happy to see that the Citrus incident may have been only one problem with one employee. I wish that were true. The employee starts telling us his life story about having to deal with some lawyers over a car accident (which is fine, but it was too much info in truth. Not the problem though). A mother walks in with her kid in a stroller and they begin to browse while the employee talks to us. At some point during their story, the kid got out of the stroller and knocked down quite a few plushies off the shelf. Annoying, I totally understand, but they say loudly, “Are you fu**ing kidding me?!” This is in front of the child, mother, and us. The mother grabs her child, puts the kid in the stroller, says to the employee, “I was going to pick it up, but if you’re going to be an a**hole about it.” and walks out. The employee turns to us and says, “Can you believe some people?” My friends and I echo something like, “No...no we cannot...but we aren’t talking about her.” After that being said, we promptly walked out.To me, it is very clear that Pop Cult has a major customer service issue. I don’t know if it’s because everyone seems to work alone and is their own boss or what, but the way they treat customers is insanely rude. My friends nor I will ever be shopping at Pop Cult again. The friend of mine at the comic shop told me that a lot of staff has switched over the past year and a half apparently and that it wasn’t like this back when he became a regular like 2 years back. However, because of our experiences, he is done shopping there as well and will be recommending customers not go there if questioned about gunpla and the sorts.TL;DR: Pop Cult has an issue with people. Do not shop here, especially with children.

Really nice and varied selection with a friendly and passionate staff. It’s a nice store with a nice atmosphere, and I would have loved this place as a kid. Prices are a little high but totally reasonable.

Was just walking through the mall and my son ask to go in. We stated looking a Mario stuffed toys and he ask for a Bozer Jr. I looked at the price and it was$24.99. A little much for a small stuffed you. But I decided to get it.When the cashier rang it up. I handed her my card. She ran my card and I said that was the wrong price. She said someone must have priced it wrong. I said that is not my problem. She took out her price gun and changed the price on the sticker to $29.99.I said no way! She said she voided my card and after debating with she reduced the price back down.This was on a Friday and today is Tuesday. She actually charged my card 3x. Twice for the higher price and once for the correct price.If you shop here, verify you prices!!

I visit Pop Cult every time I come to the mall. They always have new items, though not necessarily the items Im looking for. Stock seems somewhat randomized; if youre looking for a specific item then youre most likely out of luck unless you see it and buy it on the same visit. However, if youre looking for gifts and collectibles for the anime/comic fan in your life this is one of the best places to start (not counting online).

0/10. I purchased an item but voided the purchase after interacting with the staff. One of them was unnecessarily rude and it felt wrong buying something from them. I purchased the exact same thing at their Brandon store without a problem, as the person working there was polite.

Employees are great and the selection is not bad. However, this company is a huge ripoff. Their return policy sucks. They will only give you store credit/exchanges so dont buy unless you did your research on the item. Super disappointed and wasted $125 used when I could have bought the same thing for $89 brand new.

GREAT place to go for collectors of Anime. You can find plushies from Nintendo. You can find many different plushies from different series for your little ones to enjoy.

Pop cult is a nice store but a little pricey.

I have never seen such a large cornucopia of just pop culture after pop culture a place amazing for Otakus they’ve got Hi-chew, Ramune, Gundam Model Kits, Plushies, Swords, and it’s not only Anime they’ve got video game stuff like Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, ect

A great store if you like anything cartoon, anime and collectable. I buy my sons Christmas here and they were very helpful. I wanted a large metal key blade from kingdom hearts and they were able to order it for me. Prices are reasonable and great selection.

A little on the pricey side for me but they have great stuff and my nephews really enjoy it.

Your kids will love the store and you can reminisce of your youth.

Great place to satisfy your anime needs. Good selection of Gundam and brands not conmonly found in other stores. Prices are a bit high, but its usualy always like that with imported products. Had to tear myself away from spending too much.

It was awesome lots of squishy only down side is the squishys are out of stalk sometimes but that is understandable because they ship them from Japan

Pop cult has a great selection of Squishies, Pusheen, anime, collectors items, and many more. Their selection of candy is large. The Squishies are near the entrance and appeal to a lot of people who walk by including me. I have purchased candy and Squishies before.

Horrendous store policy for returns and exchanges. Avsolutely do not purchase anything from here unless you 100% want it and plan on keeping it. Do NOT buy a gift from here. I purchased a funko pop from here and went to exachange it. Their inventory was extremely low so they didnt have any of the 15 very common ones I wanted to exchange it for. So I asked the girl to give me a refund because they have an issue with their stock but she would not. But they said I can come back in a week or so when they get more inventory. I should have been given a refund at this point. 2 stars because the girl was at least nice
