Definitely happy to have this hair store on my side of town. Always friendly helpful clean and they have the WIGS 💁🏽‍♀️and will order what you dont see!

Dont waste your time or money. I was coming here for awhile and they were good with prices. However today... I was told 290 for a 3 bundles and a frontal. Ask about just the frontal... 150. I looked around the store then came back, guy told me his manager had given him the wrong price and the frontal was 165. Asked for the total again and he said it was now 375... no thank you. Not worth it... and I really liked the store... new guy messed up my once enjoyable experience...

30 mins out my way but well worth it!!! They are extremely friendly and have the best prices. They dont just try to throw hair to you they actually help and try to find whats best for your needs. They have the most selection of bundles I have ever seen. Different colors,textures,lengths and all! Will be back.

Update: They blocked me on IG so customers can’t see what they are up to. This keeps getting shadier by the minute. All you have to do is reach out and rectify the problem, but you’d rather be shifty and underhanded. Buyer be ware!Just came for their “amazing $5 hair pack sale” as advertised on IG. ASKED an employee (Jose) where they were. He walked me back to two open boxes, picks up hair in the second box and told me this was part of the sale.A second man comes by after my pregnant behind squatted and searched for 20-30 minutes searching, and tells me the packs I pulled out of the same box his coworker led me to are NOT part of the sale. He should have honored HIS mistake. They tried to give my daughter a lipgloss and call it a day.When I went back into the store to give him an opportunity to rectify the situation, he was comfortably sitting behind the counter and the box in-question was still in the sale section. So 1) they wish to continue to dupe future customers patronizing the sale or2) he was lying and treating me unfairly by not upholding the advertised sale price.They aren’t doing honorable business practices and just lost a loyal customer with a family of 5 heads.

I do like what this store has to offer but I would prefer seeing black owners versus Arabs. The store sells black haircare products and the main consumer base is black women. On top of that the men working there dont have much respect or even provide excellent customer service. Why not own a store that sells Arab products.

Matted $340 hair and LIES from staff.I have been coming here for a little over 3 years, way before The expansion of the store. at least once or twice a month. With that being said, I was a very loyal customer. I got sold for Bundles and a closure. I have never done closures(always getting leave out sew ins) before so I didn’t really know the inns and outs to what a closure should consist of for every person. I’m light skinned and they sold me a dark brown closure that my brown skinned hairdresser said wouldn’t even match her skin color. OK, we can chop that up and say it’s my fault. But after the install I noticed the hair was matting up and I just figured maybe I needed to wash it and give it a little TLC. So I washed it, deep conditioned it, and let it air dry with product. The madding got so extreme I had to take my hair out in two weeks and TRASH it. Mind you I paid $340 for this hair. Idk why but I came in after I took the hair out and wanted to purchase a synthetic wig. Thinking I could give them another chance. I wanted a specific wig but they said that they didn’t have it in that color and I could get the one off the manikin. It was matted as well. So I asked if they could discount it. The guy said he could discount it 10% which was really nothing being that I was still going to walk out paying $60 for an old wig. He lied to me in my face, CONFIDENTLY and said that they just opened the wig THAT DAY. I wasn’t born yesterday. Don’t lie to your Customers especially loyal ones at that. I’ll never be back

At first I didn’t know there was a beauty supply in new Tampa other than Sally’s. I was excited to see this place. They Recently expanded The shop, and now have black ladies assisting other black ladies with their wigs (which is great). The prices are not high, and they always have great deals and specials running on their Instagram page. Go check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first visit. They just completed an expansion of the store. If the friendliness and customer is the reason I understand why they needed to expand.Unfortunately some beauty supply stores lack in friendliness and customer service. Miss Z helped me with finding my new style of hair. Plus passed on some really great tips for a question I had.Its a drive for me but I will be visiting them more often. Eliana has the best hair in tampa! The staff is very knowledgeable, nice, & friendly. They also offer a free install with their human hair wigs. Normally when you get a free install, it’s a mess lol. But Brandy does such an amazing job on the installs and actually takes her time with them. I got so many compliments on my hair. Her customer service is also amazing. She didn’t get impatient or anything with all of my silly questions. She even told me “we’re all family here, girl!” I don’t know where they found her but KEEP HER! The hair quality is amazing as well. Doesn’t shed, didn’t have a weird smell, and my lace melted seamlessly. Will definitely be back!

This store appeared to have ample hair supplies and a variety of hair extensions available to their customers. The cashier was very considerate and helpful as he took time to assist me in locating supplies. I just wish there was someone available in the back to assist with selection.

I purchased the kinky straight hair in 26 inches and the hair is absolutely gorgeous. This store use to be called King Beauty Supply. There was one on Livingston and Busch. The old owner said they had moved from Busch because of a robbery. That guy doesn’t work at this location anymore and obviously they changed the name. The owner is great. Great attitude and very helpful. It’s good to have a store in new Tampa to keep us from having to drive way to old Tampa. Good selection of products. I shop here often.

Where I live there’s not a lot of ethnic places to buy beauty supplies. So this is one of my go to’s the people there are nice and friendly they don’t follow you around the store and they actually are willing to help you figure out what you need so I really enjoy going there if I need beauty supply products

Mike the owner is AWESOME! He is very helpful and is very friendly and attentive. Once you go there multiple times and they get to know you-- they treat me like friends. Someone wrote that if you are black that they are racist--- THAT IS FALSE.As long as you are nice and respectful they will treat you with courtesy everytime. They respect me as I in return do the same. I have witnessed Mike encounter all races in the store and he is nice as long as you are nice and respectful to him and his family. I have not encountered any form of racism in this store. I go there all the time😊

I have supported this business for the last 7 years (even with the old management). With a family of 5 girls I am at there at least 1-3 times a month. In all the years NEVER have I been asked to show ID. I was in there yesterday to buy 3 packs of hair and I was not asked to show an ID. Yet, today I was refused service to buy 1 extra pack of hair. It would have been ok if showing an ID is their new policy, but the manager was extremely rude with refusing to sell me the hair. I have given this establishment so much of my business in the last few years. I will definitely not be stepping foot in there again!

Purchased some Brazilian hair from there last week and the quality and price were great! Being a licensed cosmetologist I was skeptical but Nice thick wefts with minimal to no shedding! I purchase things from there very often and now its nice to know I can also purchase quality bundles from there as well!

About a year ago when the old owner was still there I loved going there. He gave really good customer service and he was very helpful. The store is now under new management. They are racist and if youre black you are a good target. Beware of this store. Please Boycott it so no one else has to go through what I did.

I love having King Beauty Supply in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly and helpful. They stock hard to find beauty supplies and they also carry salon products including Redken and Paul Mitchell at much lower prices than I used to pay at my hair salon.

When I asked for information regarding the products I was purchasing, the owner was very rude and short with me. I was the only customer in the store at the time, therefore time was not an issue. That being said, I will not be returning or recommending this buisness.
