I looked for a shop to work on my 2012 VW Van for months before stumbling upon Autoworks. It is certainly a gem and Im grateful to have ended up at this shop. It is quite a drive for me, but it is well worth it. Deborah and Christian were amazing through the entire process of finding parts that were not easy to procure. My van runs amazingly now and I could not be happier. Since having my van worked on, I have also had my elderly moms car repaired at AutoWorks as well. We are both very grateful for this shop. Honesty and integrity are difficult to come by these days especially in the auto repair business. I highly recommend this shop. I had a very good experience here. As a young woman I always always get car shops trying to charge me extra for things I don’t need (what they don’t know is my dad owned a towing business and knew all the mechanics in the city growing up so I know all the tricks). I always have to defend myself and show my knowledge to get any respect. Here I didn’t have to do that. They did the oil change as I asked, and gave me the recommendations for my mileage (which is a standard). They got me an Uber back so I wouldn’t have to wait and setup and Uber when my car was ready. They have fair and honest prices. I will only be recommending them and bringing my car here. Couldnt be more pleased with my experience at AutoWorks of Tampa! I dropped my car off for a $1 oil change and they called me an Uber to the meeting I had 15 minutes away. I saw their commercial on TV last week, and I knew just from their commercial alone that they were the ones to do the work on my Mercedes-Benz. So I called them right away, and spoke to Bill. He was very professional. Took my information about my car and set up an appointment for me to bring my car in. When I brought my car in, I met Bill and Debra. Debra is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. She was friendly and very knowledgeable and professional too. They told me after diagnosing my car, the issues and the cost. I was very surprised at the cost. I was expecting a steep price but it wasnt. I agreed on the price, paid the deposit and was told when to return and drop off my car. I dropped it off yesterday and got it back at the end of the day washed and running great!! No more oil leak. Thank you guys so much. Ill definitely return if I ever have any other work needed on my car. 10 Stars for sure!!!

We kept bringing one of the cars for them to check the oil light that was on and another couple of things and they guys was trying to charge us for something he said they wouldn’t charge for… The owner came up and she was very nice and respectful and didn’t charge for what we already paid before, at least she knows how to manage the situation very politely.

Amazing service. Replaced my brake light within minutes! They really went the extra mile fixing my light as soon as we got there. Would recommend to anyone who needs some work done on their car and wants it done by people they can trust!

I dropped my car off early on Wednesday and told the representative that I needed it back before the weekend, as I had business out of town. That Friday, I recieved a call from the same rep. Informing me that they were not able to get to my car. Then asked, if I could leave it for a few more days? I Immediately went to pick up my car. I told him an earlier call would have been appreciated, since I had no other means of transportation. He did apologize, but immediately followed with, were doing the best that we can which to me, made the apology Insincere in a bit sarcastic. I will admit, this is highly uncharacteristic for this business. I have used them a couple of times in the past. At that time, the service in the price was very good.

Originally I went to a local Audi dealer for service. Later I took my Audi to AutoWorks for an oil change and inspection. It was the same quality of service for less, so I returned recently for another oil change. Im planning to have my 30,000 mile checkup there. The technicians are well trained and the entire customer service process is very good. They follow through on every step. I would recommend them. It has been a good experience.

Told them it was a little pricey especially for not supplying brake pads for the rotor and brake pad job. They were gunna charge me more then another professional place that’s very well known. The other place told me a cheaper price and they would provide brake pads and rotors for slightly cheaper of a price. So she got sarcastic and not very professional and said sure go use another place that’s gunna use cheap parts for your car.

I absolutely LOVE AutoWorks of Tampa. Their customer service is off the charts! They paid for an Uber to take me home and bring me back, they got the job done faster than they told me, and told me I didn’t need to rotate my tires when I asked them to do it because they knew it was the best thing for the car when other places would’ve done it and charged me for it. Mick and Debbie are amazing to work with and the communication is impeccable! You need to use this place!!

Was skeptical as I always am giving my car to anyone. I do all my own work. Have worked at multiple car dealerships, I know how shops operate. Towed my car to them two weeks sho while I was at work. They gave me an update when they had the car. Had it in a day later with an estimate. With my leak, I assumed the worst, a $4k rack assembly, they called and said it was two hoses for $371. Waited a few days for that and got a call that the repair didn’t fix the problem and that they wouldn’t charge me for it as the secondary repair would be over $1k. I approved the repair and picked the car up last night. They probably rushed the tech as I was getting impatient but the quality of the work was great. Even though it was just a few lines, the car feels way more stable and safe on the road. Through the whole process, they kept me updated through calls or texts. Even offered a loaner car when they thought they may not be able to finish it this week but they did! And anytime I wanted an update and Debra, who I was primarily dealing with, was busy, the other team members like mark made me feel like a valued customer instead of another pay check. Will definitely go back if I have any issues. This shop will treat you with the respect and honesty that the rest of automotive industry has lost over the years.

Just got my BMW back from them, it was just a huge waste of time and money. They’re charging me the same amount for a major repair as the dealership and took almost two weeks to tell me. Don’t waste your time here look elsewhere

Brought my Infiniti QX56 in for a radiator, air suspension compressor, and rear shock absorbers replacement. Customer service was very nice, complimentary Uber ride back home was very convenient, and most of all my car is running much better and I am very happy with the auto repairs made on my Infiniti. They did a thorough check to make sure that everything that needed replacing actually needed to be replaced. I recommend Auto Works of Tampa to anyone who is tired of the run around and dishonesty that are apart of some of these other auto repair shops that are in the Tampa area.

I brought a car here for a pre-purchase inspection. What looked to be a great car turned out to be a money pit in waiting. The check engine light was not on(deactivated?) but the car had many expensive issues. Bob from AutoWorks gave me very a detailed diagnosis. The $149 for the inspection saved me thousands! Great service and prices

I dropped off my 08 535i on Monday 3/1 and because my car was mis figiring and over heating . I had to keep following up with them finally they said they couldn’t get it to read on the computer . We had to get him some info for him to scan it due to some after market computer . Once we provided that we still had to keep following up because they still couldn’t figure it out and then finally called and said we think it’s the water pump and the thermostat so we will need to start with that and then see what else is wrong after that is replaced which would be 1300 . I asked if that was going to fix the issue and they said well we need to start there and then see what is wrong after that is done . So we decided not to have the car repaired as I did not want to waste 1300 not knowing of that Woolf make my car run correctly . We were then charged 171 bucks for them to tell me they think the water pump and thermostat needs to be replaced . I have never had a mechanic tellMe we will have to to start there and see if that is the issue. I will never take my car to this company again they also were grossly over charging me for the work and then telling me there may be more charges because a lot of the plastic parts were brittle and may break while changing the water pump. This was the worst service and lack of professionalism I have ever dealt with.

AutoWorks is fantastic in regards to efficiency, honesty, communication skills, customer service, and overall value. I have never been to a mechanic that was as honest and understanding as them. Debra was outstanding in communicating everything going on. She went out of her way to help me and my specific situation. My car had many issues and I highly considered getting rid of it because I did not have a mechanic that I could trust. I will be keeping my car and hope to drive it many more miles because of AutoWorks. Their service comes with an unbeatable warranty on their work. A warranty which I have used and confirmed that it was not a gimmick, they fixed it up at no additional cost. I would recommend AutoWorks to anyone.

I’m not a big review guy but I felt compelled to give Autoworks of Tampa the praise they deserve!! My 2016 BMW 2 Series recently came out of warranty and started having issues. From the first phone call to the last pickup of my vehicle, the service has been nothing but perfect. Debra was so nice and answered all my questions. When she knew I needed a car she offered me a very clean and nice loaner. They fixed and repaired my car at a very fair price and I couldn’t be more happy with the work that was done. Customer service like this is very rare these days and even though it’s a little bit of a drive for me, I won’t take my car aanywhere else going forward. They have a new customer for life! I recently attended their Heels and Wheels event last Saturday (at no charge) where I learned the basics about cars, and received a $50 coupon on my next service. Prior to this, Ive never heard of an auto repair shop that takes the time to put on an event specifically to connect with and educate people on issues like: how to change a tire, checking the oil, and general information on what lies under the hood. I just moved here from Ohio over a month ago and needed a new local mechanic for my little baby 🏎 they did great work on my car and even gave me a Uber home! Definitely will be going back in the future for other repairs & maintenance!

I thought I had a leak of either coolant or window washer solution. It turned out to be nothing but they got my car in quickly and were diligent in solving the problem. This was not my first visit and I have always been happy with their service.

Well unfortunately I had a bad experience with the front of the house employees, and a faulty oil change, but the manager Bob called and was very accommodating and understanding to my bad experience. Just make sure you read everything and have everything explained before you sign anything!

Extremely sketchy repair shop. Was quoted in excess of $2500 dollars for repairs to my Audi A3 and thankfully I took it to 1. Audi of Tampa bay and 2. Trans America for a different opinion. Very happy I did because Audi quoted me at $1250 and transamerica quoted $875 for the same exact repairs. Also when I told the sales person that I was taking it to another place for another opinion he got very defensive and asked if there was a reason or if they “were not transparent enough” when giving me an estimate. On top of all this, my buddy who works for Kia said a new tech was hired at Kia and used to work at Auto works. He explained that they are EXTREMELY shady in their business practices and would rip customers off without a second thought. Would stay very clear of this business.

I’m not happy at all with the service provided!!When they found out I had an extended service plan they were very helpful 🤔but after they found it was a level 2 that it wouldn’t cover what my vehicle needed I was literally almost verbally kicked out.. assuming I didn’t have the money 💰 to pay for the repairs!!!I was not given a chance to repair my vehicle ..I was not given a formal quote after they found out that they could not milk my insurance for the repairs🤔 they just brushed me off like.... I couldn’t payFelt very uncomfortable 😣 when I called to check status and asked for the quote!!They also failed to reset my oil buttons and take off old sticker on the windshield that an oil change was done!!!I was recommended by my extended warranty is NJ and told them what happenedafter this experience I won’t recommend Auto Works of Tampa at all!! All they care about is $$ and not the customer 😐I’

An absolute hidden gem! Much different than the old grease covered mechanic experience. A complete diagnosis report, with each item prioritized and ranked with importance emailed to me. Took their time to explain the issues and what they would treat first if it was their own vehicle. We have complete confidence taking all of our family vehicles here!

And when I had an issue that required a loaner vehicle, he went the extra mile to ensure I was taken care of.I also want to give a thanks to all of the technical folks who worked on my car. Tito, Chuck and Bruce diagnosed and got my vehicle working in great order. The staff I dealt with were all extremely friendly. They even offered to call me an Uber home after I dropped my car off. I went in for an oil change and scheduled maintenance, which ended up being a long list of items. Since they are an independent business, their prices are naturally higher than if you went to a chain like Tires Plus. However, I am willing to bet the quality of work is better and I like supporting local, independent businesses. They also text you a link to all the recommended repairs and make sure you are ok with everything before they do them - very handy. I took off one star because my car took 2.5 hours longer than they estimated bc they were waiting for a part - these things happen.

Came in to get an inspection and potentially brakes done (which were way overpriced) and they did an oil change (which I had just had done a little under 2k miles ago) without asking and tried to charge me for it.The oil change resulted in an oil leak and I took it elsewhere to get it fixed. The only reason a second star is received is because they covered the cost of fixing the leak that they caused.

Yampa was the technician that did the oil change on my car. He let me look under it after handing me a flashlight to see for myself that there weren’t any oil leaks or any other work that needed to be addressed soon. I had told him that I was heading out of town so he checked all of my fluids and made sure my tire pressure was correct. Afterwards, Brandon washed my car and really made it sparkle. The peace of mind I received was worth 10 times the amount I paid.

My car had a stalling issue that was undetected for nearly 3 weeks before I took it it AutoWorks. I honestly have nothing but great things to say. The mechanics had confidence that they would be able to find the problem and I am fairly impressed because they fulfilled their promise. It was great experience!
