No one to answer the phone must mean theyre too busy to accept my business. Ill look elsewhere I suppose.

I took my car here to have it looked at after experiencing a coolant leak. They discovered it was the catalytic converter that needed to be replaced (I have a newer model Prius and they are engineered in a way that this was the issue). I asked for my scrap parts back because cats are being scrapped around $200 a piece and was told he would need to turn that part in as part of the price similar to core recycling. This part wasn’t turned in it was instead scrapped. So the owner charged me full price and turned a profit on a part I requested back. In addition to this. They closed early after telling me they would be at the office until 5:30 so I could pick up my vehicle. And in addition to this they left my passenger side window down. I was also told I couldn’t use a loaner because of COVID and I believe 1 of 3 people in their employment had masks on when entered their building. When I initially brought my concerns up to Midas I received a “corporate is making me address this insincere response”. Hopefully my mistake is a warning to everyone else considering doing business here.

Terrific and speedy service at Midas of Sun Prairie! After picking up a nail in my tire, I stopped by to see if the tire could be repaired. The friendly staff got my car in right away and explained what they found and how theyd repair it. Within a few minutes I was back on my way with a fixed tired. Excellent service and Ill definitely be a return customer!

This business treats me like family! Randy is very responsive and a good listener when discussing vehicles and whats needed to keep them in good working order. He is honest and wont do work that doesnt need to be done just to turn a buck. They really stand behind the work they do, and their prices are competitive. I wont go anywhere else for any service they provide...am a customer for life!

I love being able to make my appointment online. The owner is always very helpful and friendly. Its also one of the only places a woman can go without them suggesting $200 is services when you are there to get an oil change.

I will never take my business to this Midas location again and the reason is the owner. Randy puts on a nice face as long as everything is going well, but as soon as you have a small problem with the work performed at this location he turns 180 degrees and will not help you with anything. I got an oil change in late April and had good service with it. My car just hit 3000 miles since that change and I had the time to change my own oil. I soon realized that whoever performed the oil change at Midas must have used air tools way too aggressively because the drain plug on the oil pan wouldnt budge even with a ratchet and a pry bar. I called to see if they could simply loosen the plug with their tools because I dont have access to air tools and a compressor. Randy refused and claimed my oil change was over nine months ago, it was 5 and I have the sticker and receipt to prove it. He said that I could have had 3 oil changes since I was in there and he wasnt responsible. (Who would change their oil 3 times in 5 months and 3000 miles?) He basically called me a liar even though he was the one who didnt have the facts straight. He ended the the conversation by hanging up on me even though I wasnt shouting or using profanities. Worst customer service ever...

I was passing through Sun Prairie with my 2 year old son. I had to pull over due to a hole in my tier. Rand and his crew had me back on my way in 20 mins. Can not thank them enough!!!!

They have a dog so thats awesome. I planned to get all my oil changes here because I love dogs but they dont answer the phone or call back to set appointments.

I took a vehicle with a brake fluid leak in to this location. I was assured by the owner that I did not have a hydraulic fluid leak. He tried to tell me that it was a rear differential leak. On my way home I had to fill the reservoir twice. They sent me home with a vehicle that was absolutely unsafe. I had another mechanic confirm the differential leak, but they still did not address the brake problem at all, and sent me out without addressing the problem. The rear dif had nothing to do with the leaking brakes. If you have a high mileage car or anything slightly complex just go somewhere else. When I called them to tell them about the continued issue Randy, the owner, argued with me and offered no solution. Amazing waiting room however and a very clean shop. So if you’re looking for a very clean shop with a nice waiting room, this is definitely the place for you.

Did a great job install in my custom muffler and it didnt take long at all.

Clean waiting area, great music in the radio! Got my car trusted for a fair price and Randy was pleasant and informative about the repairs and the overall condition of my car. Going back when I need more work.

I dropped my car off to get it checked out because it was stalling. Even stalled in the parking lot. They told they drove it around and had it in idle for a long period and it never stalked saying they didnt find anything wrong. I picked up my car and drove 2 blocks and the car stalled again. They obviously lied about driving it. They probably didnt even look at my car. How could they allow me to drive away in it knowing there is a problem? Bad ethics and absolutely no help. And by the way, my car needed a simple tune up. Never going there again, cant trust liars who would allow people to drive away in car that was having trouble. Couldve caused an accident.

Ive been a customer for 6 years. The owner is knowledgible, kind and cares about his customers. Estimates are realistic, and they work with your budget. They wont promise what they cant deliver. Ive had everything from oil changes to major repairs and bought tires here. Its rare to have such an honest, trustworthy mechanic. My whole family (including my minister father) uses this place.

Very nice staff and clean waiting room. They knew I would be working there and offered the wifi password and coffee. Prices seemed within reason and service took about an hour, as estimated.

Very pleased with the work they did on my moms car and the amount charged was reasonable. Will definately tell people about this place for service.

I Personally have had a horrible experience with the Midas in Sun Prairie. This isnt to say that all Midas in general are poor but I had a problem with this one in particular. I was sold a set of locking lug nuts as well as a key to them which was too small and ended up stripping the lug nuts when i tried to remove my wheel. I returned to Midas and requested that they remove the stripped lug nut and replace the faulty set they sold me but instead the owner decided to make excuses and insisted it was my fault. Long story short he refused to negotiate a solution and sent me on my way with a car in disrepair. Midas of Sun Prairie doesnt stand by their work and has some of the poorest business ethics I have ever witnessed.

This place is a joke. The guy at the counter is a creep and will over charge you. I dropped my car off to have the brakes looked at and they quoted me $120 more than the Subaru dealer quoted me. When I told him that the price was to high he asked how much money I had. I can tell he scams people. I will never ever go back to any midas location and wouldnt advise anyone to come here.

Had new tires fitted, was alerted to a major problem with my brake caliper (brakes were fitted recently at my dealership and will address this problem with them)

Paid $400 to fix my exhaust and the repair leaked, they said they wouldnt fix it when I called them, so I took it to Meineke to have them look at it. They said the previous repair was so bad they would need to start from scratch. Never going back to Midas.
