Deplorable customer service. I was belittled by service department and lied to. I asked them to correct an issue with a tire they installed incorrectly and after a debate with service clerk and his manager I was told tire was installed based off previous tires position and that tech was going off of that. I accepted this because I didnt know any better. Turns out. I looked at photos of my bike plus I still happened to have my old tire. I determined based off this evidence that Albert had lied. I will definitely not be going back to Stockton powersports (SHY) and will upload a couple videos on youtube that show how the issue escalates. Please see photos below for now. I will update Google review when videos are up. Meanwhile please look at Yelp. Very similar experience I had has been felt by many others. Dont know how Google reflects otherwise. Please notice that tire tread of old tire is in correct position.

They stole my power comander and a light i had under the seat on my 07 r6 i was told my bike needed a motor because mine had low compression and a new harnes too. Pick the bike up all taken apart took it home Change the coils and since then i had ride my bike close to 8thousand miles with no problems

I went in for a part and the employees were rude. They could barely even greet you when you walk in the door and some of the parts I have are after market so the guy wouldnt help me because I didnt have the numbers for it. I gave him the VIN number of the bike which he could look up in the system. The manager is very nice so if anyone has any problems, instead of walking out (cause thats what I was about to do) go talk to him about it. If I had a business, I would not be allowing my employees to treat customers like this.

The people are rude. Never once have I called and actually gotten through to parts... Just sit on hold for ever. The prices are higher than anywhere else ive seen. I honestly cant remember 1 good experience in the 20 plus times ive been there. They even stole the air caps off my r1 tires when i had them swapped there. Never will I waste my time even trying to call this place again. Ill drive all the way to modesto Cycle Gear before I come here again.

The owner and Marty seem to be good guys. Its the young kid that has a punk attitude no customer service skills. Wanted to buy a bike but after dealing with the youngster pretty much wanted to just get out of there before I snapped. When Im going in there to spend 5 to 10 thousand dollars I would expect a little more respect even if I had changed my mind on what bike I wanted.

Bike Priced higher than anywhere else these guys really aren’t looking to make a sale they are just looking for a high profit soffit takes them a while to make a sale it takes them a while they don’t care I looked at multiple bikes and this place is the only one price more than $1000 higher than everywhere else would not recommend

The customer service is second to none. Their whole team is great! Service department does great work, the parts counter employees are always great and they also have a great sales team. 10 out of 10. I always try to get people to go here instead of other dealerships

Horrible customer service. Took a tire in for only a tube swap and was told it would be done that Saturday because they were closed Sunday. Saturday afternoon comes and no contact which is fine however, Monday comes and still no contact. When Tuesday comes I give them a call to follow up and they say it isn’t done, mind you I’m just here for a tube swap. Wednesday comes and I call and they say it’s done. Took 5 days for a tube swap and I still had to call to ask if it was done when it was. Rather drive 30 mins to Modesto “cycle gear” where the respect is given!

Couldnt get or order a crank case bearing for my 1982 Honda cb750 which runs great untill the crank seal started leaking oil in the side cover and getting on my electronic pickups for the spark (electronic points) causing it to misfire so now I might as well junk it if u sell the bike u should be able to get parts no matter how old it is

Was skeptical at first. Had a 2011 Concours 14 in for my 15k maintenance got it back tool it out for a spin lost a lot of power. Took the bike back they fixed the problem immediately. Turns out the guy i got the bike from put some after market exhaust which required some sort of regulator on it. Long story short bike runs better then it did before I took it to them. Professional and recommended.

I hate this place their customer non service is the worst Ive ever experienced if it werent for the fact that theyre the only place that offers certain items in the valley I would never let anybody I know go there again when you are looked at like you are bugging somebody for asking them if you can buy a motorcycle and they make it a chore it is not a pleasing buying experience I think this place should be wiped clean and start it over

I had a really good experience considering this is the first time I had to put a bike I owned in the shop for anything other than routine maintenance. It all started one day as I was riding and my bike died on me. I’m new to the area so I looked online and SHY popped up. Had the bike towed there to see if I could have it repaired. They called me and let me know what the issue was. After that was repaired, the system was overcharging and my regulator needed replacing. They gave me good timeframes on when I could expect it to be done. After everything was completed, it was around 3 weeks or so. April in the service department is awesome and has a great attitude. I went through periods of frustration only because I am impatient. She always gave me detailed updates and put me at ease. I never felt as if I was being pacified or brushed off. I will definitely go back for all my motorcycle needs.

Ordered a jet ski part through your parts manager and received the wrong part, tried to return after we realized it was the wrong part when we got in the car, but they won’t accept the return. So somehow we are down $450 because YOUR PARTS MANAGER did not order the correct part. We were told “your best bet is eBay bud”This has happened before with $20 parts, no big deal, we can bite the bullet on a few bucks. But, I guess that’s our mistake for giving them the benefit of the doubt and ordering a more expensive part.Your best bet is to use a knowledgeable parts distributer with the integrity to accept their mistakes instead of placing blame on the customer. We will never come here for our dirtbike or jet ski needs again.

This is the second time I visited this establishment for parts for my friends bike and they always have fast friendly service being as I live a couple hours away their the closest dealer that part I needed it wasnt terribly too much and I threw me a couple extra dollars for shipping and hes just going to send it on out to me which is great so I got the right part and getting it sent to me when it comes in and Ive had nothing but good service there so I hope they continue to last a long time that location and do well thank you

I want to know why I call the serviece department leave messages no calls back!!! And I got hung up on 3 times, the lady transferring my calls is probaly sick of my voice. When I finally got through my bike still isnt done beacuse there waiting on parts beacuse they werent orderd till the 8th....i brought the bike in on the 2nd they swore to me 2 weeks and done.....so now Im loosing $ taking Uber and stuff to work cuz my car and bike are in the shop.....should have brought you the parts my self. My phone has been on and next to me all day and no calls.

September 4th Drop-off for mounting front and rear tires didnt get bike back until September 21st. Albeit master cylinder needed rebuild kit, claim of a bent rotor and missing spacers. Id been so frustrated at the time it was taking that when I picked up the bike I just wanted to get the hell outta there. At work (couple of miles away) upon further inspection. I noticed that my fairing was damaged from brake fluid spilling down right side of bike. There was also a crack and fluid spilled on upper and lower fairing. This bike was brought to them with Brand new Fairing and a fresh paint job. I will speak with someone as soon as I can, but judging by the reviews I dont expect them to make it right but well see.Very sloppy work for dealer rates. When you pay a premium for labor, you have an expectation that the work will be performed to a higher standard. Sadly, this wasn’t the case.

They wanted me to make an appointment and pay them just to tell me how much it would be to swap out the rear suspension links (lowered) for the stock ones. Dude its a ten minute job. You just lost a customer. P S I found a great mechanic at you need a bike shop. Thanks for nothing Stockton Powersports....👎

Took my band new quad in because it was making a weird rattle I had it for a month they were able to fix it in 1 day witch was covered by Honda warranty what was not covered by the warranty was me over tightening a bolt witch caused the threads and bolt to strip they fixed it no cost when I did the damage and was not cover by Honda ! Amazing

I took my 2000 Honda Rancher ATV to have the valves adjusted on 9/13/16. There was a tapping noise. A couple of days later the service manager, Robert Lynch, called me and told me there was no oil going to the top end. He told me it would require 6 hours or $510 for him to tell me how much it would cost. I asked for worst case scenario. He couldnt tell me. He refused to tell me how the parts would be. This ATV has a value of maybe $1200. I was trying to make a decision if it was worth putting money into it. Mr. Lynch would only say he didnt know and it could be upwards of $3000. How can he tell me $3000 if he doesnt know how much the parts are?? I guarantee if you pay $510, you are committed to the entire job, and he knows that, so then the total will be extremely high. He told me this is normal standard operating procedure. I decided not to get if fixed through Stockton Honda. On 9/17/15 I went to pick it up. I paid him for 2/3 of an hour or $56.10. I went to my pickup and waited about 15 minutes. He walked out and said they needed to put back together some of the exterior parts. He then told me I would have to wait about an hour. Let me get this straight, I paid for 2/3 of an hour labor, but Robert needed 1 hour to reassemble it. He then proceed to snap at me: You should have called! I think he was just mad I decided not to get it fixed through him. Be careful with this service manager, usually if you cant get straight answers, there is a problem.

I like how this is a small facility but with a variety of motorcycles and ATVs.I was greeted when I walked in and they allowed me to browse freely without feeling rushed.The salesmen I spoke to was a young man who is great with negotiating because he convinced me to change my direction of buying a Kawasaki H2 and instead I am now looking forward to buying a Yamaha R1 from Stockton Honda Yamaha when I have the funds available.I also like how they accept cash and I am looking forward into purchasing an R1 from them in the future!

Stockton honda Yamaha has been around for 20 plus years. I have been going there for parts and gear since I was a kid. They always have new fresh gear and helmets in stock and most parts on hand. The parts guys are always friendly and helpful. If they dont have the part they can get it and they will call you. They always have all the new bikes in stock as well.Fair prices great service. Over all great shopping experience.

I dropped off my bike with a running issue. I would start and run but had an issue once it got hot. They called told me they think it is the stator. So I went to pick up the bike to install my new stator, and they had to give me a bolt kit because it was missing bolts all over the bike. But my main issue was the bike doesnt even start anymore. I replaced the stator like the tech suggested and nothing. So I spent 200 dollars and got my bike back in worse condition than before I dropped it off. At least the lady at the service desk was nice!

Scheduled appointment for 9 am dropped off quad for service was told few hours called 3 hours to check rude people in service said well there was someone ahead of you!! I explained scheduled 3 days in advance so they would not keep it all day. They rudely told me well he at lunch so it will be a few more hours! >;( not going back even considered a new purchase when to Tracy for new quad after leaving Stockton Honda.

Once in a while I just have to vent, here goes..... In January I bought a new Yamaha SMAX 155, wanted something to get around on, pick up a few groceries and see the sights while my husband is fishing or whatever (we are traveling the U.S. in a 40 foot motorhome, hauling a bass boat) ordered the Shad top case and paid for it the same time as the scooter. Didnt get it and kept getting the run around, on back order, already been sent to us, cant find the order, etc. Finally I talked to the manager at Stockton Yamaha, who found it in the parts dept. where it had been for THREE months. He shipped it to us in Florida where my husband started to install it. It didnt come with the mounting plate. I called Shad and I need a universal mounting plate, that is designed for a specific scooter, and they dont make one that fits my scooter. Well crap!

Went to this place to have my Honda put back together. I had a fuel leak and thought I could fix it myself. After taking it apart down to the carbs, I couldn’t find the leak. I thought I was in over my head and wanted a professional to put the carbs and air box back together. I loaded the bike into my trailer, and put the box of parts in the car, and made the 24 mile trip to the Honda SERVICE department. I had someone come out look at the bike and quote a price of about $170. times two. A couple of hours to put the bike back together, and a couple hour to fix the fuel leak. I agreed to his price but he said he had to get approval from the service manager. Bobby came out and looked things over. He was very short, terse, and ultimately rude with his remarks. I got the impression that he thought this bike had been sitting around for awhile, or was otherwise broken. I assured him that I had just taken it apart the previous day and that other than the fuel leak the bike ran fine. He didnt actually call me a lier, but I don’t know any other reason he would refuse to repair the bike. While I was still talking to him they both walked inside leaving me standing out there looking at the sign on the building that says SERVICE. I have never had this happen to me before. Even if I brought a couple of boxes of parts and asked them to build a bike for me, why not? If I’m willing to pay them for their time, why not? That being said, I felt singled out, or like there was some other underlaying reason for the refusal to work on my bike. The following day I put the bike back together myself. It took me three hours, including the fairings and a brake light strobe module. The next day I took the bike for a test drive to The Honda SERVICE department to show Bobby that the bike was working fine. And also to prove to him that I was not lying to him. I guess I was hoping for an apology, or at least an explanation. I didnt get one. Looking back at all the times that I have gone there to buy parts, I am always the only one there. Everyone else has figured it out, but It has taken me this long to discover that this is not a good place to shop. I can always buy parts online for less than half the price they are asking, and Bobby in the Service department is rude and indifferent. If you want to take a chance, go here and see if you are not the only person in the place. Then ask yourself why. My suggestion is, take my word for it and stay away like everyone else. Unless you think I’m lying too.
