This was my first time going to CycleGear in Springfield, VA. I wanted to buy a pair of boots for my new cruiser. The staff was really helpful and very accommodating. Gina helped me with picking the right boots and was very knowledgeable. They have great selection of motorcycle gear and I will definitely go back again!

Had unused, factory-new boxed parts; didnt need em; exchanged the parts for a gift card with exact sum I had spent available.No hassle; had parts (in condition described) and original receipt. Excellent, responsible business practice.

First of all I can be in there all day. Store was neat and clean. The guy working in there was cool. Talked to him a little bit about riding gear. I honestly cant wait to go back and burn a hole in my wallet lol.

He was extremely friendly and helpful. He took his time to show me several different options and explained the differences well. He measured and did a full fitting to ensure that I was getting a helmet that fit me correctly.The atmosphere in a lot of other bike shops I’ve been in over the years has not been very pleasant. A lot of times if you don’t come across as a gear head or life-long rider, they won’t give you the time of day. The staff at Cycle Gear makes you feel like you belong there and they give no judgment. If you’re a lifetime experienced rider, or someone new to riding, I highly recommend them either way.They have great gear, incredible staff with plenty of knowledge, and really competitive prices.If I could give 6 Stars, I would.

This was the first time shopping at Cycle Gear. Chastity helped me and she was super! . I had to make an exchange for another color soon after my purchase . She handled it smoothly and really has a professional attitude that you don’t see that often in retail. I watched her engage other costumers as well and was much impressed by her knowledge of the products and her astuteness in dealing with a probing costumer who seemed to bombard her with questions before he decided to make the purchase Thumb up !

I came in and was immediately greeted by the staff and asked if I had any questions. Brian was available and answered everything I shot at him, and also helped me realize that Ive been wearing too small a helmet for my entire life after giving me a proper fit. In spite of all the other customers, he was attentive to everyone and offered a level of customer service that was outstanding.The store itself was clean, and they were extremely patient with me as I took my time to get a proper fit for the gear I was purchasing. The selection was great and I was able to try on a variety of different brands and different equipment across several price ranges. Even as I knew the store was about to close due to the posted hours, I was never rushed or hurried. I attempted to get out prior to 7 to show the same respect that was shown to me, but unfortunately I didnt check out until 5 minutes later. Really though, I couldnt recommend this location enough! The staff is fantastic, knowledgeable and kind, and the store itself has all the merchandise you could possibly need.

Went to buy hardware kit for ATV found on shelf with brake bleeding kit. Customer service was good. While there battery tenders were on sale so i pickup up an 800ma tender for the winter.

The shop is small but they sure have the essentials. I am a new rider and Brian and Marcus were incredibly helpful, patient, and chatty. I also saw them interact with other customers and they were really good with them as well. Overall, I know I will be back and while its 20 minutes away, its worth it.

Gina and I forgot the black guys name but they made me feel so welcome the young man helped me find some first time boots and was very patient! Ive gone to this location twice in the last three months; staff always greets me when I enter, are friendly, and offers assistance/answers questions. They make themselves available for information, but arent overbearing. The place has a good selection of different types of gear and well-stocked in various sizes for the models/styles they have. During my recent visit, I purchased a jacket that was on sale. Got home and realized I forgot my receipt - sent a text to the store number online, and the sales associate who helped me, Gina, went out of her way to find the receipt, scan it, and email it to me so Id have it for return/warranty purposes, if needed. I plan to keep coming back as a customer.

Every time I’ve stopped by to get some gear the store associates have been very helpful. The manager made picking a helmet as a new rider incredibly easy and an associate Brian helped me pick out a quality jacket!

I reserved a motorcycle helmet using their website. It was fast and easy. Stopped in later the same day to try it on. Staff helped to ensure I selected the right size. COVID-19 precautions were in place entire visit. Extremely satisfied with my purchase. Will be back for more gear soon.

Great store, with fantastic assortment of any items you need to ride smooth, cool, and safe... all at very reasonable and accommodating prices. Marcus (store asst mgr) was available, present, and always ready to help me choose the needed pair of new gloves. His knowledge and understanding of me and how i ride (as an older gentleman, past my prime for youthful rallies, for example) provided the basis for advising my final purchase of gloves made by the Cycle Gear in-house brand, Bilt. While i cannot comment yet on the long-term quality, the appearance is fine and well-made. I will be back to Cycle Gear again for my next purchase: Bluetooth! *Ride safe, peeps!* 🏍️😎

Awesome place and great guys. Walked in for the first time because I needed new gloves and figured I’d take a look at a helmet I had my eye on for days. I’m standing there and within seconds they approached me and began asking me if I needed help and what not. Began telling me about the helmet and how popular it is. Gave me the option to put it on and he knew I wanted it. He started giving me options on payment and how to make is easier. When I went to pay, the other worker was nice guy, started complementing the purchase and had a great conversation. 10/10 would recommend

I signed for a class and went to Cycle Gear to get all my gear. Super helpful and informative on the gear and provided tips (especially for a beginner). I had a great experience. Im that much more excited for this class!

Went in to get some pants for commuting in cold weather. Came out with Some Alpine Stars over pants and an Ogio Mach 5 bag. Three sales peeps was helping me out. Very friendly and they all road! When everyone at the store shares the same passion you know you found a good spot! Drove 45 mins one way. I’ll be back for sure!

I went to Cycle Gear in Springfield, Va on 07.10.21. The person that helped was Chasity. Chasity was very kind and her all around customer service was phenomenal. She was very patient and gave lots of pointers on riding. I enjoyed her help as well as conversation. As far as the store itself, everyone was attentive to their customers and they have lots of merchandise at reasonable prices.

Store is good all the crew is willing to help you of what you need & they knowledgeable with there product of what they sale. I was surprised they have a after sale duty on there custome because they care except for those employee which only care about the sale. Customer like us want a after sale treatment to make us comeback & buy again because we know that if you buy there product you’re in good hand keep up the good work & choose the employee that have care on there customer treasure them ..

Purchased riding jeans here last weekend and the glue holding the knee armor I place failed the fist time I rode in them. Went to return them this weekend 9/5/2021. They refused to give me my money back. The would only give store credit there was no question of the pant failure or wether it was my fault. They sold me a bad product but said I could only get store credit. I look through there website and they are out of stock in my size in all similar products. Im now stuck with this useless gift card. Dont shop here!Edit: Cycle gear called me back today and offered to refund the gift card balance back to my credit card because I could not find anything online. I did want to say the employees at the store and on the phone have always been very friendly and knowledgeable.

Absolutely great store and staff. Cycle gear has the best customer service I have experienced in a long time and had all the items I needed to start riding.

Very disappointed. I went looking for riding boots/shoes and a new riding jacket. The young man assisting me was trying to help too many people and doing a poor job of it. I told him that my shoe size was 11-1/2 or 12, depending. However, he was more concerned with whether I could afford the boots he was showing me. Every pair I expressed an interest in, he would first tell me how much it cost and asked me if I was okay with that. Then, he gave me a 10-1/2 to try on. I asked to see a different pair and he handed me a size 10. What was the point in telling him my size? There didnt seem to be rhyme or reason to the layout of the store. If i have to be questioned as to whether I can afford to shop here, I would just as soon shop elsewhere. The boots I tried to buy there? I just bought them online.

Walked in to Cycle Gear yesterday and was told I was required to wear a mask to shop in the store. Walked out, got a mask on, came back in. Fun fact, the guy mandating the mask policy had a neck gaiter pulled down. Its interesting that the other store members had their masks on and the mask police was the ONLY ONE who had his down. It wasnt until I came back in that he was wearing his neck gaiter correctly. Called the store after I left and talked to RJ. He said the policy was you had to have your mask on. He said in Fairfax County it is mandatory. I went to the Fairfax County site and found the most up to date information as of 8/25/21. Its recommended for all but NOT mandated. Its one thing to be fearful of COVID. Its another to rewrite policy to suit your own world view. And even though a different guy really did try to help me, the bad experience was so strong Im done with this store which I used to love, buying electronics, armor, etc. Its a shame, but I wont be lied to by anybody and there are plenty of other businesses to shop at.

2 days ago, went to the Laurel, MD location... yesterday, went to the Springfield, VA location... what do they have in common? Other than the name “Cycle Gear” and a GREAT in-store selection... what both locations have in common is AMAZING SERVICE! Friendly and knowledgeable associates made me feel welcome, and made me feel like I really made great decisions on my purchases. Hope to visit either/both locations again someday soon! Cheers!

Went to pick up a Bluetooth device. I didnt realize i was in just before closing and they still took the time to explain all the differences between devices. I dont remember the name of the person who helped me but he was genuine, kind and helpful. It was my first time shopping at Cycle gear but ill definitely be coming back.

The two staff members were very nice and took the time to measure us for helmets. My wife and I are both new riders so the employees explained the different types of helmets and safety certifications. Both of us felt they answered our questions honestly and respectfully. I rate the store 4 stars out of 5 because its a small location with a limited selection of some items such as helmets and boots in womens sizes.

The store is well stocked although it is small. The staff is very helpful and professional. Although they did not have in stock the helmet I was looking for, the clerk recommended I try on some for sizing purposes for my online order.

Salespeople were engaged in a good way. Although I got the impression they work on commission to some extent, they weren’t pushy or too aggressive. One of the salesmen even helped me find the best way to use my military discount to get the best deal. Highly recommended. Will visit again.

I believe the salesman was Kevin... Im bad with names but he was the experienced guy. He was incredibly patient and helpful helping me with a swap and helping my girlfriend pick out a helmet. Ive always loved cycle gear in general but this guy is a credit to the business.

Brian made my experience extremely convenient and comfortable. He demonstrated excellent product knowledge in describing helmet options, improvements, upgrades, etc. My exchange was handled quickly and painlessly. While I would like to see a better selection of motorcycle sneakers, I remain pleased with this location and staff. Customer service here rocks!

I stopped by cycle gear in Springfield Va because I was near the store I went in just to browse I found a very nice inexpensive pair of (Bilt) riding boots the total staff was very helpful. The boots seemed to be cheaper than I’d expected, after the cashier told me the total I jokingly thanked her for sharing her employee discount with me.(my smile was real!) as I left.

We got great service from the employees when shopping for motorcycle boots for my wife and myself. Not pushy but very helpful and kind. Perfect experience!!

I’ve shopped here a couple of times. On my most recent trip I bought a Cardo and Brian offered to install it for me free of charge. They even made a considerable effort to help me and my buddies get our headsets all paired up. Great customer service from these folks.

This place is awesome. Daniel at the Springfield Cycle Gear shop was incredibly helpful and nice. I’m brand new to the motorcycle world, and he helped me size different helmets and jackets. He was clearly knowledgeable, personable, and easy to approach in the store. As a result, I’ve bought all my motorcycle gear from Cycle Gear, which includes a helmet, jacket, gloves, and CE elbow, shoulder, and back protection. Some of the stuff I ordered online and then went to the store to ensure correct fit, which Daniel confirmed for me. Definitely put this place as your go-to, user-friendly cycle shop.

I travel an hour and a half to go to the Springfield va location simply because of the staff. They’re always courteous, willing to assist, and knowledgeable. The store is a little small but if there isn’t something I need in stock they have it online and help me order it in store with ease.

The associate was extremely helpful, walked me through everything, and set up the com system in my helmet. Even took some time to walk me through the features and test it out before I left.

Amazing Experience!! I don’t often right reviews, but my experience was so over the top I need it to. As a new dual sport motorcycle owner, I need it a jacket, boots, helmet Gloves, etc. Brian was so over the top patient, kind and Incredibly knowledgeable of the products he sells. He explained the differences between gear for adventure riding, sport riding, and selected gear for me to try-out, based on my likes and dislikes. I was there over 2 hrs, and even though he was the only employee handling customers and the phone, he made sure to pull down gear for me to try, while he juggled his other responsibilities. I would really like to see Brian recognized for the amazing person he is. After all, as a business owner, I know your employees that are in front of your brand can make or brake you. I will definitely be returning and sending others to see Brian.

I called to ask about clothing in-stock items and they were extremely helpful, actually looking through the clothes and reading off the sizes of my inquiry. While they didn’t have my size in-stock, I still decided to visit before they closed based on the excellent customer service on the phone. And to my surprise, on a shelf was one pair of pants in my size and I bought them immediately! Some things just work out when you don’t plan it.
