The Spirit Shoppe is a small local package store. They have a friendly staff and off street parking. They are located on Saint James Ave in Springfield Massachusetts. I like to shop our local businesses to support them! I think for the average shopper, there is definitely something for you. They also sell lottery and cigarettes. If you are in the area stop in!!

Excellent selection of wine and some liquors you may not find in other places plenty of IPAs and they do accept bottle returns.

Showed up to the store at 9:52pm which is 8 minutes before closing and 1 employee was shouting in my ear to hurry up, the cashier was very nice, and the woman working gave me attitude when I asked the time they close stating yeah we close 10 minutes early. Very unprofessional.

Great place, friendly staff, just wish they stayed open later sometimes.. This was my review untill I was assaulted by a stock Boy in the parking lot who was on shift.. I have frequented this establishment for 20 plus yrs and untill recently was treated with respect and dignity! The previously mentioned Stoçkboy has continuously showed an aggressive attitude towards myself and numerous other customers.. Instead of pressing charges or furthering the issue I only wanted the employee to be reprimanded and proper steps to be taken to rectify the issue, instead nothing was done and less than 24 hrs later I arrived to the same employee working with the same situation.. I will gladly shop elsewhere from now on and I suggest everyone else in western mass to travel the mile around the corner to an honest establishment.. And to clarify, the owners are good people, unfortunately they allowed an aggressive out of control employee to assault me and did nothing to rectify the behavior.. Thank you all who listen, best of luck in your future endeavors with the Spiritless Shoppe ..
