Very disappointed. There are always 2 sides to the story. I wont share my side. I would encourage others to tread lightly when dealing with Springfield Pool and Spa.

Great store! The staff is knowledgeable and always friendly. They test your pool or spa water for free and give you a print-out telling you exactly what chemicals to add in the right order to get it balanced. Ive been going here for years for all of our pool needs.

We got off to a rough start with our Bullfrog Spa. The weather was icy in February (obviously not their fault) and it took a while for it to get delivered, and then we had some minor inconveniences with it after that. The customer service was great, and the manager even gave us a second round of free chemicals for our troubles! We love our spa and would highly recommend Springfield Pool & Spa for your next hot tub purchase!

I brought in a water sample to Springfield Pool & Spa on Saturday morning. I had been trying in vain to get my pool water in balance. Ed analyzed my sample, wrote a “prescription” on what I needed and the order in which to add the chemicals. Less than 48 hours later and the pool water has never looked better!!!Ed was such a delight to work with. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Well done, Ed. Thank you from a very satisfied customer.

I have been shopping here for a while now and switched from another place. Everytime I walk in the door the employees are genuine and happy. They love their job and are always ready to help. I take my water sample in, they read it and recommend the course of action to take; the last two seasons they are spot on Everytime so far. I so appreciate Kevin and the other gentleman that works in the front(I always forget his name, its very unique). I will not shop elsewhere unless something is out of stock and its an emergency. This place is my go-to spot for all of my pool needs and I manage three of them. Keep up the good work guys. Oh, before I forget, you will rarely find customer service this good elsewhere at any business.

We have been using them for our pool, chemicals spa opening and closing if pool. They had to come out 3 times last year but did make it right. This year they lost 3 employees, and cannot take care of loyal custo mers. I would suggest using someone else who treats employees well and pays well so they have staff at their busy times of year and dont push customers away.

Kevin and Trey were both very helpful. Kevin stayed in contact south us during our pool purchase and Trey helped us load some large items. They are amazing!

We called and asked if 1 inch chlorine tablets were in stock. We were told they were in stock without a pause. Literally 7 minutes later my husband and I walked in and were told theyre on reserve for reoccurring customers, after the employee repeatedly denied any of them would have said that. Poor first impression of favoritism. The store appeared clean and the employee that approached us was masked. 1 star.

Great Service! Felipe and Trey came to our home within an hour of calling Springfield Pool and Spa. They were professional and thorough in addressing my concerns! I have had my hot tub now for 3 years and am very pleased with the service provided by Springfield Pool and Spa. Service was terrible the staff had a complete turnover since this started . My pump went out they instaled the wrong pump that burned up my cord . Then it was cat and mouse , its on order its hear your on schedule no show theres parts still on order .my last call no anger or vulgarity the manager was cryining appoligising owner seems to be the problem just doesnt care

My husband and I arrived at the store at 4:00 PM. As soon as we asked in, and without wven greeting us we were informed that the store was closed even though the sign said that the store was opened until 5:00 PM. Every question we asked had to be referred to the manager who did not even take the time to say hello or look at us. We are serios buyers who currently own a jacuzzi and are looking to replace it. I usually do do it like to write bad reviews but I would not buy in a store with such poor customer service.

We had an issue that was not their fault and they went above and beyond to help us out and get it fixed. Will be using them again in our next project.

These people are great! I had bought a pump/sand filter from a competitor on a Sunday (they werent open) and had multiple problems and questions. The competitor I went back to for questions/help was rude, unhelpful. I called Springfield Pools fully expecting the cold shoulder. I was very impressed by how nice, knowledgeable, and helpful they were. Even though I had purchased the pump/filter elsewhere, they helped me understand how to set it up, how to convert hookups, what I needed, etc. So polite, helpful, and kind! I highly recommend if you are wanting pool supplies or anything related to a pool, go to Springfield Pool & Spa. They will go out of their way to help you out. I know I wont be shopping anywhere else for my supplies from now on.

Bad company! The owner completely blew me off, I tried for weeks to get them to come out and fix my pump and the owner never call and he does the scheduling. I used them in the past and they screwed my stereo up. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt bc some of my good friends use them or should I say used to use them. We are all going to Seirra spa. I spoke with the owner and he was more than gracious to help me.

After waiting for over a year to get a job finished and spending LOTS of money on their equipment and products, was called today to tell me they no longer have a service dept.How long did they know this and why didnt they tell customers before now! Ive been scheduled for repairs for weeks and now nobodys coming tomorrow. Veryunprofessional to treat customers this way.

No longer a trustworthy business (June 2021). Phone representatives lied several times about sending repair materials with bi-weekly service technician and then abruptly announced by their app that they would no longer provide repair or maintenance services. :(

Fantastic Experience! Felipe and Rhys were friendly and knowledgeable, and left us feeling confident in running all the programs on our new pool.We’ve used Springfield Pool in the past and always had quality service. We were able to get a next day service appointment, and their new scheduling app is so convenient. The techs are able to leave pictures of your pool, showing their work and also proves that they were there. We have used services in the past that I doubted whether or not they even came on some days. I really appreciate this feature!Also worth mentioning in this strange time...they courteously maintained proper social distancing while explaining everything. Please don’t put off your pool work because of the quarantine- this is a low/no contact service and a great way to support a local small business!

My husband went into this store once on his lunch hour just to get pricing. He was told the only sales rep was busy and took down his name and number and they would call him back. After two days he never got a call back, so he called the store. ( Again just to get pricing) he was told again the only sales rep was busy and they promised to call back. Two days later, no call. I decided to call one last time to get pricing to compare with Midwest before we make a purchase. Joe, who answers the phone said again, there was no sales rep available, he would take my number. I explained my husband has done that twice and is there not anyone in the store who can give me a price. He said no, only one sales rep and they are slammed, that no one else can give me a price. Very sarcastic and rude. Will not be spending my money here.

I have been shopping other stores and have had no luck. The spa gallery was my last stop. I was very disappointed. I stood in the store for 15 minutes with no help and the guy who came to finally help me was drunk and smelled of booze. When I went to Springfield Pool and spa they instantly took care of me and showed me why Bullfrog Spa is a good fit for my family. I may be a younger guy, but they did not discriminate against me. I highly recommend this company. They delivered my spa the same week I bought it l which is amazing! Please do your research into the surrounding spa companies. This one by far is the best. Thank so much for your help Brian, Dillon, and Ed. You all really know how to make someone feel welcome.

These people have been servicing my pool for 8 months. Their service has been top notch and I have found them to be trustworthy. They are very responsive to communications whatever the reason. I recommend them.

I couldn’t believe how smooth it went buying Bullfrog hot tub from Dillon!! After shopping a few other stores, it was an easy choice!! We even got to take a test soak in order to pick out what jets we wanted in our custom hot tub!! Dillon was very patient with us as we tried every jet option available to customize our perfect spa!! My elderly parents have a hot tub and Springfield pool and Spa has been so helpful! We have set up a bi-weekly service and one of their pool techs comes out and tests the water and adds any chemicals needed for them. Its such a relief to not have to worry about my parents handling the chemicals. I also just found out they deliver chemicals which is great! Thanks Springfield Pool and Spa for taking such great care of my parents spa!

Just recently bought our first hot tub from SP&S. We love the Bullfrog line and the ability to design exactly what we wanted out of a spa. The spa itself is exceptional, but the staff who put it in truly went above and beyond to get it done right and promptly. Edit* They did come through and got us the spa we originally wanted. They did work really hard to make it right and I appreciate it.Delivered the wrong spa finally settled on it was told what I needed to hook it up for electric and was told wrong. The wrong cover and they finally got it replaced. Was told 4 months of maintenance was included now a month in they tried to charge me $90. If I could have bought a bullfrog spa somewhere else I would have. The salesman was not much help and he is hard to get a hold of he just wanted to make a sale. Not impressed at all

What a difference a company makes. After a couple difficult years with our old pool company we finally decided to try someone new. We decided to go with Springfield Pool & Spa and my pool has never looked so amazing! I should have made the switch years ago. The staff is very friendly and certainly know their stuff. They have informed me of things my old pool company never mentioned in the 6 years I used them. My pool looks great and my maintenance costs are less than before!

While over at a friends house I was watching him get his pool open, so being a pool owner I paid very close attention to what was going on. These guys were efficient, fast, and very knowledgeable when it comes to chemicals and pool care.They took the time out of their day to answer any and all of my questions and filled me in on there bio guard products. Which I have seen first hand how good they are! Felipe and Matt were awesome! I know what company will be opening my pool next year! These guys know what customer service is.

Not happy with the after purchase service. Just want to sell products weather you need or not, not enough explanation on charges on installation, and you better hope you dont have warranty work needed, you are on your own. Hoping to help some one else to ask about all costs associated with buying products from this company

I gave a 3 star rating because they do not know how to respond to website queries or phone calls. I have tried twice to get an estimate on a pool by filling out the form on their website with no reply. I gave the benefit of the doubt to them and decided to call the store. The person that answered the phone was nice and polite and I was told the guy that does the estimates was on the phone with someone and I left my work and cell numbers and was told I would get a call back. Did not get a call back that day, or the next day, or the next day. So I do not know how well they do pools or spas what I do know is that you won’t sell pools if you do not return customers phone calls that want a pool. After much searching and several phone calls I found out the reviews stating a lot of the old employees had left are true. Whether or not they are or were disgruntled I have no idea. I do know I am in the process of having one of them give me an estimate on a pool as he has opened his own business. And no I am not a relative of any old employees and you will not find an account with my name on it. I have no dog in this fight. What I have is an honest description of my experience with this company. It’s up to you to decide for yourself.

Springfield Pool and Spa came recommended, however we had a very disappointing experience. My husband and I went into Springfield Pool and Spa on a Saturday afternoon, it was not very busy during the time we were in. After being inside for a few minutes an employee, Dillon, came to see if we needed help. We let him know that we wanted to order an above ground pool and wanted the pricing. Instead he kept giving us a ballpark or a range. We let him know exactly the size we wanted and that we were looking to be swimming this season. He let us know that may not be possible due to Covid and delays. After wasting about 30 minutes inside the store, getting zero concrete information, and being told it may not even be possible to get a pool this season, he offered to email us some pricing on Monday... ok... that is why we are here NOW? We give him my husbands email address, Dillon gives us his card. Monday comes. No email, and honestly Im not surprised. Lucky for us they are not the only place in Springfield who sells pools. We are happy to take our money to Midwest pool and spa who is more than helpful and keep some models in stock. Springfield Pool and Spa made me feel like I was not welcome, and as if no one wanted to sell me anything. Maybe because we are a younger couple? Young does not mean poor. We were more than prepared to make a purchase but after the feeling we got while being in the store we realized that was not going to happen. This is not to single out any one employee, there were others in the showroom not with a customer, who didnt acknowledge us when we came in. Hopefully others have a better experience, this was just mine.

I get all of my equipment and chemicals from Springfield pool and spa they have great customer service I would highly recommend them for all your pool and spa needs.

I needed my spa fixed and gave Springfield pool and spa a call they sent Felipe out to my house he had my spa up and running in no time, he took the time out to tell me about features I didnt even know my spa had and explained chemicals and spa maintenance to me and made things very clear and understandable. I would recommend there services any day, and Felipe is awesome and patient and very knowledgeable.

As a hot tub owners I am happy that someone like Melinda Cantrell can sell me the correct chemicals and test my water as needed correctly. I did try other spa places but this one was the best. Id give Melinda 5 stars for her customer service. I will be back.

Great service! Felipe and Rhys came out the first day to open our brown (😳) pool and made good progress in just a couple hours. Felipe came back the next day and not only conquered the crud, but took care of a couple other issues as well. Before he left on Friday, he said the pool would be clear by Sunday. We woke up Sunday morning to aquamarine water and a clear view of the bottom. Great job!More recently (2-13-21 the day before the winter storm) I needed an emergency winterization to keep my pool from freezing and becoming an expensive hole in the ground. I stopped by the store and explained my situation. Kiontre immediately went into action to find me a crew. Later that day, he and Felipe showed up in the freezing cold, worked through tough conditions, and were able to test every connection and save my pool - they are the best!

We bought a house this spring with a pool which i believed to be to far gone and not working . so my wife calls these guys .. so glad she did . they came and got the pool looking amazing and working .so when she wanted a hot tub for Christmas this year we called Springfield pool and bought a Bullfrog spa 8 seater and it totally awesome. we love it . call these guys for all your pool and spa needs

I’ve been a loyal customer of this business for the past 15+ years and have had them open, close, and maintain my pool every pear without fail. Have went thru 2 liner replacements and various maintenance calls in that time. And purchased 2 hot tubs during this time. Over the past few years I’ve put up with extremely sub-standard service levels only because of loyalty. However today took the cake and I will never spend another penny here. We had our Polaris gear box repaired here 2-3 months ago to the tune of a few hundred dollars and this week it stopped working again with the same symptoms. We took it in to the store and the so called owner Ed began by stating we didn’t buy the unit there 7 years ago nor did they do the repair 2 months ago. Their record keeping is in such a shambles they can’t even find the records and said it was my duty to prove they had did the repair. Needless to say I was livid and told him their record keeping sucks and what the hell is going on there. Mr Ed then told me he didn’t like my tone or language and said I should take my business elsewhere and then hung up on me.I’m going to take Mr Ed’s advice and go elsewhere and will share my experience hundreds of times with anyone who asks for the remainder of my life.Customer service rating ZERO. And Ed won’t even call me back Hanging up on someone is the most rude thing that one can do. I wasn’t done with the discussion yet:).

I wish every retail experience was like this. Simple. Professional. Detailed. Zack was one of the best technicians Ive ever met in ANY business. Ed was awesome, too. We were very nervous about the pool we purchased with our new home. He actually took us into a private room and drew pictures on a note pad to help us better understand how our pool system actually works. After Zack came out, it all came together for us. We are 100% confident with our pool now. We would recommend SPAS to anyone for sure.

They went out of their way to help me get a new solar cover to my house when it wouldnt fit in my car. All of them working inside helped with the problem and then Ladonna followed me home with the cover in her car. They have the best and most friendly service around.

I am absolutely amazed at how fast they were able to get out to fix the pool. And I am blown away at the exceptional work they did!! They are professional, polite and are very good at what they do! As a new homeowner I have had a lot of questions about what would be the best fit in terms of a pool or hot tub. Rachael Moore was able to explain to me what is involved in the care and upkeep of both in ground and above ground pools and had great ideas for what would work with my landscape (it is very rocky and wooded). I came away from the conversation with her better equipped to make a decision on what would work best for me and my family, home and schedule. She was professional and informative and they could stand to have a few more Rachaels at Springfield Pool and Spa. Thank you Rachael. I will be back.

Reading these reviews are a bit confusing, and it sure looks likes the new owner/manager is trying to cover up what is really going on with this store. I have been a customer here for years, and the new manager has completely ruined this wonderful little store. His attitude and his band of untrained unprofessional people working there is embarrassing compared to the old staff they had before.Warning, dont complain about a bill or he will tell you to leave and go else where, OR turn you into collections. This is small town, and everyone knows what the true story is. Just ask ANY of their competitors. THEY are Very willing to share!!!! We found the old staff. They have started a new store. Go there or anywhere else. This is real and true information.

Warning!!! This store sold the used item and will not issue refund.Recently I went to get supplies for our swimming pool and they don’t have the stuff I want. Then a lady employee found an alternate item. I was hesitate to pay for it, then the cashier convinced me twice that if I don’t want it, take it back for refund. Indeed, our pool maintenance guy doesn’t want to use the stuff he is not familiar with. Therefore, I went to the store to return it.Wow!!! The owner of this store was very very rude and arrogant. He said this item was used. Well, I bought this item and never leave my purse. I showed the item to our pool maintenance guy and he doesn’t want to try it. If this item was used before, it is your store sold the used item to me. The lady employee confirmed she sold this item to me.The owner of this store doesn’t want to know the true situation and insulted me that I wanted to get $20 from this store.How rude of the owner of this store is!!!Don’t shop this store! Otherwise you will be fooled and insulted.I know you have the return policy. However, you sold the used item to me. The owner of this store didnt want to investigated the real story, just wanted me to leave.You didnt want to ask who sold the item to me and what she said?
