My grandson and I had been at Cabelas and were treated so rudely it was shocking. Most of the employees in the section I was in, five in total, totally ignored us and another customer while they laughed and joked together and we stood there patiently waiting. They need to be fired! One guy I asked to see something and he told me he couldnt bend down to get it. The other guys stood there just looking only one guy out of the whole bunch asked if we needed help finally...... . I will never go in there again! Then we went to Ace Buyers in Springfield and it was a complete change. Hunter who works there immediately asked if he could help us, and he was so much help it was unbelievable. He even helped me go online to get something corrected. He was kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable they him and another guy willingly made sure we were satisfied before they tried to close and it was closing time. After the Fiasco at Cabelas I just didnt expect s u c h attentiveness Hunter really made my day turn around. I will definitely return there and they have such a good selection of everything! Thank you guys!

5 star for friendliness and speed.The workers have been friendly anytime I have gone there. Process is pretty fast when getting loans. I don’t really have any negative experiences to share. The loan payoff goes pretty fast as well depending on what you had pawned. I’d recommend them to friends and family looking to get a few bucks.

I have been a customer at Ace Buyers for 20+ years. Ace buyers stores are clean, organized and well lit, friendly staff, knowledgeable and thorough when buying merchandise. Their pricing is good, merchandise is clean and good quality lightly used items. They also test things when they buy them and as well as when they are sold. It is a very family friendly environment. Kids are welcome and love to look for a treasure. They have gorgeous jewelry that is always cleaned, polished etc. I cannot imagine paying full price for jewelry.I know most of the stores have LAYAWAY....YES LAYAWAY!!! Who does that anymore? It’s awesome! Today I put something on layaway, I’m so excited!! When it comes to retail.....particularly 2nd hand. I never hesitate to send any friend or stranger to these stores. I know they will receive the good customer service we all appreciate. 😀👍

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the products they sell. They sell a wide variety of stuff from dvds to firearms. Everything looks new or lightly used. I bought a nice lawnmower from them and it works great. I have also had to get loans on items from them and always am treated with respect. I will definitely refer my friends to this store.

Not your ordinary pawn shop. the store is bright and clean and well merchandised. Great selection of guns AND AMMO. Always something cool. The owner or manager has a beautiful German Shepard and always says hi and is very friendly. Top loan value on your pawned items and on those occasions where I forgot and came in to pay off my loan they didnt try to screw me even though they could have which is what the pawn shop on 99 would have done as well as the shylock in Glenwood.

They have fair prices and good quality used items. They probably won’t take your garbage but that’s because no one wants to buy your garbage. They often go above and beyond for customer service. I have been coming to Ace Buyers on 14th and Main in Springfield for as long as they’ve been here. I can’t quite remember I just know it’s been many many years. They have always been very polite, courteous & respectful. Anytime I needed to extend a loan or I forgot a date money was due and I was in need of pushing it out they just added the interest as long as I’ve kept in touch with them regarding those needs. They’ve always been very willing to work with me and make sure I’ve gotten back anything I may have pawned. I’ve never lost anything here and at one point I actually forgot for two weeks and they had known me coming here so long and did extend that just charging me the Interest and they called me for the reminder so I didn’t lose what I had loaned on. I won’t go anywhere else! I recently moved after 20 years from Springfield, to Eugene over in the Barger area and I still drive clear over here to Ace buyers on 14th and Main in Springfield and will not change that location for any future needs I have with them!!
