I did not do research on how much my items would have fetched somewhere else, however, Doug was very easy to work with. He treated me with respect and was transparent about the process.

I went there with over $2000 worth of pre 1934 silver dollars (59 coins), and that was scrap silver price. He said that they were very common coins and due to their condition he could only offer me $20 each of them, for a total of $1180 for the lot. Never once did he mention that the coins were 90% silver. I pretended not to know anything about them to see if he was an honest guy. I guess I got my answer.. Seller beware!
