From KC, Mo to Tulsa, Ok to Little Rock, AR to Memphis, TN to Ft Smith, AR this place has the best selection and the lowest prices on Jonome Sewing Machines. Well worth spending a total of 8 hrs driving to buy. Wished we lived closer as they offer a greating selection of everything.

My sister and I drove into MO not really looking for anything special when we happened upon Sewing Machines Express. I loved the store and the employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and were very friendly. Both my sister and I bought sewing mschines and we love them!

Although I live in the St.Louis area, the local Husqvarna dealer I contacted did not return my phone call. In a search I came across Sewing Machines Express. I called and told them what I was looking for and they called me back the next day and told me they could get it and would ship to me. I received a call today (3 days later) telling me it’s on the way to my house!! Thank you so much, Stacey, for your prompt and courteous service!! It was a pleasure to do business with you!! I’ll be back!!

I brought in my 30+ year old JCPenney sewing machine that I hadn’t used in several years. They looked at my machine right then and there and I walked out with my machine fixed and running a few minutes later. Super customer service! You don’t see good customer service much anymore. Highly recommend!

Took machine in they told my husband they would look at it for no charge and would call with all information including the charge before they did any work. They said they were behind so could be a couple of weeks. After a month and no phone calls my husband called them. They said they had to order a part. He said well how much is it going to cost? They said well the part is 7.99 and it will take some time to fix and put it back together. So it will be an extra 30.00. My husband said I need to know how much the total bill will be. They said 100.00. So somehow they went from 38.00 to 100.00 plus had the machine for a month and didnt call to get permission to fix the machine. The machine is a 1980s model and he explained to them we didnt want to put a lot of money in it. (That was why the call before you fix was so important.) I wont go back and cant recommend them to any of my sewing friends.

The service you get in Sewing Machines Express Inc is perfect. The staff is always ready to serve you any way they can. It is my family away from home. I can always be sure that I will not walk out of there with something I really dont need. I have told many friends about this place with no guilt. My only wish is that I had more time to do all the classes they offer.

We were looking for a 1/4 inch presser foot for a Jonome new home machine and they had it in store. They also carry Husqvarna Viking machines as well as the Jonome Line of machines. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they have. Overall it is a great place to shop for sewing and embroidery needs as well as quilting products.

I loved my experience with the staff at Sewing Machines Express, they were so helpful and friendly. They made me feel right at home and like they had known me forever. Any questions that I had they helped me with them and gave me suggestions that helped me understand the process that I was using.I had my machine serviced there and they were excellent, very prompt and professional. I have always been interested in Machine Embroidery. A friend of mine invited me to join her for a class. I was hooked. I purchased my viking designer topaz 25 approximately a month ago. Ginny has gone over and above my expectations. The rest of the crew are also helpful. I have continued to attend the monthly project classes and have learned allot. This past Saturday I attended a Sulky seminar. From simple designs to dazzling finished products. I never realized what my machine as a sewing machine had in store for me. The most difficult avenue ahead is finding the time exploring, designing, and doing! AND if I hit a curve in the road some one will be there to straighten me out.Thanks Sulky for a great two hours of fun and learning.

Dropped my sewing machine by for a quick tune up and needed a quick turn-a-round so I could finish a Christmas project and Sewing Express sure came through. They are always so helpful. They explain in great detail when you have questions. I have been a loyal customer for several years!

Whenever I go into this store I come out with a machine...lol. They have such awesome deals and the most excellent customer service. I will drive an hour and half to stay a customer of theirs. There is a Viking dealer only 20 minutes away but the deals I get from Linda I just cant pass up. No matter what problem I am having with a machine they help me. Best prices on machine repair anywhere in the state.

Sewing machine repair was slow. Charged $75 to remove a broken needle from inside. Most places would have cleaned it too. Checkout was ridiculous, took l about 15 minutes because I wanted to use my sewing & more card. And they made me wait to check out after some guy that would be faster even though I was being helped first. Not good customer service.

Wish there were 0 stars. Took my machine in for service and was told it would be 3 weeks. Called at 4 weeks and it wasn’t even started and he said he didn’t know when it would be started much less done. Picked up machine and took it somewhere else. Will not go back.Update: took the machine to Quilt Sampler, it took them one day and the problem was an easy adjustment and not a part like I was told here. $46 as compared to at least $75 plus part. Learned my lesson.

I always find the staff at Sewing Machine Express to be friendly and very knowledgeable about the machines they have to offer and how to solve whatever problem I might be having, whether it is with my machine. accessing projects on line, or helping with my fabric and thread choices for my projects. I love the classes that are provided and the chance to get together with other ladies who share the same interest in sewing and quilting, and a staff that always is so friendly as to feel like family .

This store and all employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They offer a variety of classes and programs in addition to service and repair of machines. They will order or attempt to find products for customers in addition to carrying a large inventory of merchandise and supplies.

I wish there were two categories to rate this company. The people are great and helpful. They have a very good variety of machines and accessories. All of the out front folk are very helpful and bend over backwards to help and please. They get 5 stars!This, however, is where the one star comes in. We took in my wifes Janome to be serviced. When we picked it up the next week, the case was not tight but the gentleman who works out front aligned and tightened it. When we got it home and my wife began to sew, it made a noise so we took it back. The technician immediately re-adjusted something and it seemed to sew fine.Brought it home and discovered the needle was not centered. Took it back again and had to leave it because the tech. wouldnt be there until next week.They called us yesterday and I went to pick up the machine. The lady who brought it out noticed that, once again, the case was mis-aligned. She would not let it go like that and said the tech would have to fix it.I called to check on it today and was told, They had to order a part that was broken. What part? I questioned. One of the case cover pieces was broken. Me: By your Tech? Them: Yes, there will be no charge, of course. Me: When will it be ready? Them: Hopefully, the part will come in next week. You can come and pick up the machine now, the broken piece wont keep it from sewing correctly.Me: No, I dont need to be making extra trips up there. Please call me when it is ready.I hope the owners read this review!

I love the friendliness of everyone and how you get help with the problems you run into. I love the class that you can take and the new methods on the projects that you learn. I never had that at any other sewing place I went too. I tell all my friends about you and I know that if they lived here they would be going with me.

I was charged $80 to be told my tension unit is very sensitive and they cleaned fibers off my bottom gear. They took complete advantage of me. So I am out $80 and my machine is still broken. I honestly believe they cleaned the bottom gear because they know how crappy it is to charge someone $80 without solving the issue

This business appears to have no or few full time employees. So you never talk to the same person twice and nobody really knows whats going on. If you dont mind your machine sitting there for weeks on end because they wont or cant hire a full time technician, and you dont mind getting g a different story each time you call it might be ok.I called them on a Friday and talked to the domestic machine technician (I was told) and she told me the industrial tech would be in on Mon. So I bring it in and Im told he is NOT there. ( Nobody knew who I talked to either which was odd). Then Im told there is a four week wait before he can even look at it. But wait! For $150 I can have it seen on Weds and he will call me. This is an older, all mechanical machine. They dont just break. So Im thinking well thats expensive but since Im losing JOBS Ill pay it. Wed, Thurs and Fri come and go, no call. I call on the next monday and Im told that he surely called (no record on my call list) but that she will call him and ask.He does call me and tells me that he wont be able to fix it because he is in training all week. Then tells me some jackamamey story about how he cant get a part that is broken on the machine. He tells me that the company (Juki) doesnt know if they even have a manual. He doesnt know if he can fix it but hes waiting on Juki to send a new feed dog fork and a service manual.I tell him I disagree and highly doubt the fork broke. He either lied to cover up or just didnt know. Hes in training so he may just not know. Ok fair enough.I pick up my machine and make an appt with a Shop in KC. Ive lost a lot of money by now and figure I cant work anyway so why not. They tell me they can probably turn it around same day. He fixes my machine in about 10 minutes because it was out of time. It was out.of.time. and the feed dogs needed adjusted. This is literally kindergarten sewing machine repair folks.So if you want to pay extra money and wait for someone to get trained, and buy parts you dont need by all means go here. They will lie to you, either intentionally or because they are that untrained. If there was someone in store that knew all the training and schedules, none of this would have happened. they are really nice and apologized.

I was inquiring about the different kinds of embroidery machines that they carried. I am a bridal designer and I explained what I was wanting in a machine and what I needed it to do. From the moment that I walked in the door I felt like I was treated in the upmost respect. The sales representative that I worked with was OUTSTANDING! She knew exactly what I wanted and suggested an embroidery machine that exceeded every, and all of my expectations! She demonstrated the machines, but also educated on how and why it would be the best fit for my company. The best part of it all was that I bought the CORRECT machine that will do EXCATLY that I wanted and so much more! I would have not been able to do this without the guidance and explicit knowledge of the staff at Sewing Machine Express! Plus they will help you with questions and TEACH you how to work your embroidery machine! I have never seen and had the customer service that I experienced at this store. I am a LIFETIME buyer only with Machine Express!

I bought an embroidery machine at SME several years ago. They provided classes so I could get the most out of my machine. Over the years I have continued to take classes at the store and have learned so much. Linda makes you feel like family and the rest of the staff are as exceptional as she is. It has been a pleasure to do business there and I will continue to go there for whatever I need. Their knowledge is beyond compare. Cant say enough good about this store and all the people who work there.

I took an older model Brother machine to have it worked on. He, of course, told me I needed a new machine. He also proceeded to tell me that the part that my machine needed was not made anymore. Well, guess what, took it to another repairman and he fixed the machine. It didnt need the part that he said that was not available. Even if it would have needed to have it replaced, the part was available for only a few dollars. He lied to me! He wanted me to buy a machine. To his surprise, I will never step foot in there again.

I took my singer for repair and service, 3 month later I was told it could not be repaired, to pick it up - no charge. Just loose parts. No courtesy call. Had to call repeatedly on the status and was put off.
