This place has everything! Including temporary hair makeup gel!! What these wonderful people dont know, they are happy to communicate with each other and find out for you. Staff was light hearted, intelligent, and eager to please. Was greeted warmly at entry and, fair warning... things inside are very...PINK. OVERALL WONDERFUL service, good quality products and enjoyable experience. REFRESHING!

I am very happy to have found this place! I cant believe it took me so long to realize Ulta has a salon! I had been pretty discouraged with getting my hair done, as Ive had some not-so-great experiences with salons that charged an arm and a leg but didnt do a good job, lately. Michael knows what he is doing, though, and it was so nice to have his expert advice and service. Hes kind and helpful, and makes his clients feel at home, as well. Im especially thrilled with my color, and for the first time in forever, I dont have lighter roots than the rest of my hair (when Ive gone elsewhere, they turned out lighter and brassy orange compared to the rest). I love the result I got, this time, and will be back, for sure! Thank you, thank you!

During their jumbo sale I went to purchase 2 bottles of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner. When I got them home, I realized I grabbed 3 conditioners so since my husband was going to be near the store he offered to take 2 of the conditioners and exchange them for me. He…doesn’t know much about hair care so he asked the sales associate to help him switch them out for the correct item. The sales associate came back with the product but they only had 1 in stock so they sent him to the other store (sunshine location) to switch out the other. He goes to the other location and asks the same of the associate there. When he gets home from the sunshine location, the sales associate gave him the wrong product. I had the receipt so I took it the same day to exchange it since I knew what I was looking for. The manager helped me switch it out but there was not any in stock so she offered to order it for me. In order to make it easy for everyone, she did everything on 1 transaction and she placed the order for me. When I got my package several days later in the mail, the store manager had ordered a conditioner and that was not the correct product. So my husband offers to go back to the store a THIRD time to exchange it. They exchange it but they don’t have any of the jumbo size shampoo of this brand in stock and they said they’d just give him 2 of the 10oz bottles to prevent mixing up the ordering again. My husband had to pay a difference in prices of like $5. (The jumbo sale was still happening) I was looking today when he brought them home and total we ended up paying like $32 for 20oz total of shampoo when the jumbo bottle is 33 oz and was on sale for $25. I’m just disappointed that 1, we had the associates not give the correct product, 2, the store manager placed the order incorrectly, and 3, I was charged more for less product. I get that people make mistakes, clearly I did in the first place by not paying attention, but I think the store associates also need to be paying a bit more attention, especially when the customer ends up being charged more for less product.

I went in looking for a very light coverage foundation and was convinced I wanted a cream or liquid. I spoke with two very kind young women who after asking about my skin, actually suggested Bare Minerals powder foundation. I decided to try it and and the brush that is used to apply it and it did not disappoint. I wore it to work today to test it out and it didnt budge or smudge or get oily which is a problem I usually have. The color matched perfectly and it held up. It seems small, but I do not wear makeup ever. So it can be intimidating when you start trying products out for the first time. I felt the service and advice I received was of good quality.

This was my first time in an Ulta store. I have ordered products from them online, but I thought I would change it up a bit. I gotta say, they have really good customer service. I was in the store... maybe 30 minutes.... and I was asked three different times how I was doing and if I needed help. I dont know about anyone else, but I never get checked on that much! I will definitely be back!

As a Male sent to get makeup for my wife the workers are great. If you know what you are there for specifically they will take you right to it. Came 2 the store to get a brow tint. Was quoted $12- $14 or something like that the girl on the phone says. I was thinking oh wow thats super cheap great! They booked me for a 530 pm appt which was great because I had a nail appt next door at 630 pm. I get there and stand at the counter for about 5 min no one greets me. There was only 1 girl behind the brow bar and she was working on a client so I wasnt going to interrupt but Im certain I was in her per-referral line of sight.Finally someone greets me and she lets me know that they are running behind and Ill have to wait. I booked the appointment 10 min ago called at 5:19 for a 5:30. Still not bothered fine I can shop while I wait. I had a big interview on Monday so I needed a few things. I really nice young lady walked by as I was shopping asked if I needed help, I said yes I need a new foundation. She was nice and helpful and did her best to match my skin considering no testers right now. The foundation was was like $35 I said if it doesnt match can I please bring it back. She said of course. Brow bar still isn’t ready so I decide to find the young lady that helped me to ask her name and ask her about another product. Heres where things get weird. As Im walking thru the store looking for her the what I have to assume is a supervisor approaches me asking if Im looking for something. I said yes the young lady that helped me but I didnt grab her name & maybe shes in the back. I said thank u tho and kept walking by. When I say I could feel this womens gaze on me for the rest of my time there I mean it! I caught her several times just staring at me. Walked around an isle boom she was there. I was so uncomfortable I walked up to the brow bar and just stood there looking at a setting spray in hopes she would stop staring at me. NOPE! I look across the store and shes across the room & we make eye contact. Now at this point Im just thinking like lady Im not stealing is this what this is? Anyways few min later the brow bar is ready for me. Great service great associate. I was in and out pretty quick. My brows look amazing! So I go to pay for my brow service and there is a long line with only 2 cashiers. After a few ppl check out I get to the front of the line and guess who opens a register to check me out? Yep the same supervisor. She rings my brow tint up & boom its $20 bucks. I was still really uncomfortable and didnt even mention the misquote. i just wanted away from her. I leave & still have few minutes before my nail appt. So i go to my car to try the foundation on and it didnt match. Now I have to go back into the store to return it which sends me into instant dread. I go in and find Analise the girl who helped me pick it we discuss going darker blah blah she hands me another foundation in hopes itll match. I go to the line again to return and swap for the new color and guess who makes her way back to the cashier area to stand over the young lady whos doing my exchange Im sure you can guess by now. Now Im just fed up!! I tell the girl that I dont even want the new foundation and please refund me entirely. Which she does no problem. I have receipts because I just walked out 2 min ago. So I still have the new one I was going to purchase I asked the girl if I should leave it with her or if she prefers I take it back to the isle. Guess who snatches it off the counter and is just blatantly obvious at this point yep the supervisor. She says Ill take it and turns around. I have never felt so insulted in all my life. I would never steal nor should I have to walk on egg shells as a customer. She needs some proper training or jeesh at least be less obvious!! She also needs to change the look on her face. She looked angry and way to serious to be in the customer service retail arena. It was such a miserable experience. Ill stick to online shopping from Ulta from here on.

August 1, 2020. First time I’ve ever been to Ulta Beauty. I’m so bother by the fact that I forgot the lady’s name that helped me today, but she deserves some recognition. It was Allie, I think. Something with an A. About 5’3 and brown hair. Anyway she helped me for over an hour! She helped find stuff, gave me advice and hand picked pretty much every item that I was looking for. She didn’t seem irritated despite the 20 million questions that I had, and also continued to check stock in the back room to help me get products I wanted. I had the best experience because of her and was able to put a ton of points on my sisters rewards account and she was thrilled. Thanks for the experience! If only I could be sure that was her name!

My wife always gets all of her beauty products from Ulta and she says that the prices might be higher here, but the goods are much higher quality than other places. Thats what matters to us is quality over quantity. If you can get a quality product from here, then this is the place to go.

Cashiers are insistent that you give them your phone number. I think money should be enough and I don’t need to give my personal information. They’re immediately rude when you decline to give your phone number, as if they take it personally. I don’t want to have this negative experience when I shop here. They didn’t even say thank you.

I want to start out by saying I am not a fan of booking appointments on there website to begin with and never really trusted doing my appointment making this way! So today I did anyway!Big mistake!!! Around 3:00pm I went on their website and booked an eyelash appointment for 5:45pm! Now if you have ever booked an appointment before this way it grays out what’s not available so it showed they had this opening and I chose that time got a confirmation and bingo my appointment was booked! So I thought! I went in and was about 15 minutes early so I checked in the ladies at the eyelash bar said I made no appointment one of the ladies being a manager stated! The manger was rude and didn’t offer any other time slot open not even a sorry just the appointment you made didn’t come through! The other lady didn’t even acknowledge me no sorry nothing! Ulta has definitely adjusted to the needs of its customers during quarantine! I ordered 3 items for curbside pickup, they were ready within the hour, and were brought to my car and placed in my trunk with no contact. The employees that answered the phone and made the delivery were well organized. There are other major chains (Bass Pro) that take 4-7 days for curbside pickup orders on in stock store items. Ulta has great employees and great systems in place to buy and receive what customers need in a reasonable (short) amount of time!

I’ve shopped at ultra for many years. Never in my life did I think this company would put my health at risk.Today I walked in to get some personal items. A representative approach me and asked for me to put a mask on. I informed her that do to my condition I can’t wear a mask. She says ok and walked off. Then come back and tell me that she can’t sell me anything without a mask. I told her I can’t put one on and will not be wearing one due to my health.I will not and put my self in danger if the mask are not designed to protect me or anyone from a virus.

Normally I dont have an issue, but this is the 2nd time Ive gone and had the employees assume I was stealing. I work retail and know what is said to someone when we think they might be stealing. I was holding 2 small things and was crowded by 2 employees the entire time. They made it very obvious and at one point an employee literally TOOK one of the things I was gonna buy, (cause it fell onto the floor), and just put it away. I was so embarrassed and frustrated! Worst of all, when I was leaving the store, one of the managers made an extremely condescending comment to me. Im not going to be going back anytime soon.

Normally love Ulta & their customer service! Today we were told (at 5:20 pm) that the store would be closing in 10 mins as SOON as we walked in the door. The hours were listed as open till 6pm (online & on the door) We felt super rushed & the associates were literally bringing outdoor signage in & telling people they needed to check out asap. We left, obviously not wanting to intrude on them getting off of work, and they locked the doors behind us... the time was 5:44pm & a poor lady was trying to walk in right as we left & the doors were already locked & all associates were “unavailable”. Super disappointed.

They even had a clearance section. I will definitely return when I have more time to shop. I went into this store for the first time today. I was looking for a very specific foundation and facial moisturizer (I usually order online but wanted them today.) A really friendly girl helped me on the floor. I really had no problems at all until I made it to the checkout. Once at the checkout, I stated I didn’t want to provide my contact information because I don’t want to receive any solicitation. The girl running the register was pushy, trying to get my info after I already said I didn’t want to provide it. I ended up having to say three times that I didn’t want to provide contact info. While this was happening, the girl running the register next to us was staring over at me and began rolling her eyes and began laughing with her customer. I do not speak for anyone else, but behavior like this ensures I will never go back to your store. I don’t know if the female employee was rolling her eyes at me, or at the other female employee helping me — doesn’t matter. What does matter is this is very poor customer service and makes a customer feel unwelcome. To those girls, I hope someday you’re able to understand where I’m coming from. To the store, you’ve forever lost my business.

My grandma and I went in together. i was there because i was looking for a new foundation. as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a staff member. i asked her what she thought would be the best for my oily acne prone skin. what she recommended was perfect for me. she put it on me and she was just so helpful. next time your in Ulta, ask for Kate. she’s amazing and can help you find anything.

UPDATE: So they called me and I went over the situation again with both managers and although they were nice on the phone, I pretty much got in shorter words you have to pay it theres nothing they can do because it was done. The main person I talk to says that she remembers and it was her that set it up then in my opinion she is the one who messed up. I was supposed to be set up for a consultation So she should have made shore that it was done correctly. I do not work there. The one thing that irritated me and I will give them some advice as a manager myself not to do is talk to somebody like they have no common sense because both of them said the same thing, you didnt think to ask, you didnt think this or that and blah blah blah. Thats not something that you tell a customer thats paying you. Thats your job, your job to make sure the customer has a complete 100% understanding of whats going on before you proceed to anything. Pretty much they want to put all the blame on me because I didnt think to ask knowing that I have said that Ive never been in their or ever used the stores services, Instead of taking some responsibility on their end. No responsibility on their end, no admitting that they made mistakes, Just Im sorry but unfortunately we cant do anything so its my fault and now I have to pay for it. I will be disputing thisI went to use the salon for the 1st time which Itold both the lady at checkout and the lady at the salon that I had never used any type of service at that store and the lady at check out told them that I wanted a consultation and me and my friend both signed up. We werent expecting to pay anything so you can imagine the irritation I had when we were both handed receipts for $45 I got stuck paying both because she hadnt brought money expecting not to have to pay. If anything their customer service is lacking and they definitely shouldve had to pay for it.

Went in first thing this morning with the intent to only purchase a Christmas present for someone, ended up getting more than what I came for. The girls at this location are particularly good at greeting everyone and making eye contact upon entering the store (which makes a good impression on shoppers to be acknowledged). Sienna was extremely helpful. She was able to answer all my questions, was very well spoken, and educated on the products within the store. No one has ever offered to color match my skin for foundation before, but she did. Buying a new brand of foundation can be intimidating if you don’t know where to start. Not once did I feel judged (I came in looking like I just woke up), and she took her time to ensure I was making a good color choice on foundation. I’ve always had pleasant experiences with this location!

I’m always buying the wrong shade in foundation so I was hoping they could help. She took her time to match me and when I got home I put it on and it’s a PERFECT match. It was the worst haircut I ever received. Colored my hair did not ask if I wanted to see a color book just made it a shade darker, then put product in my hair and began cutting. She did not even ask me how I wanted my hair cut she took hunks of hair in places.....I have let it grow for over month and you can really see how bad the cut was. I had never been to Ulta before and will never enter another.

I absolutely love this store!! They have everything you need for your beauty needs. They also have a salon, facial spa, and brow spa. They carry higher end merchandise as well as drug store brands. The sales are really good like the liter sale they have for shampoo and conditioner. I stock up one them everytime that sale goes on. I do not work there nor am I any kind of sponsor. I am just a customer that loves beauty related items. My favorite place to go!!😁

I did not have a pleasant experience the last time I was in Ulta. I went in to get my free birthday gift. In the past they could look it up on my Ulta rewards account. The girl who waited on me, was very unfriendly and was unapologetic about the fact that I had to show proof on my phone or have a print out in order to receive it now. (My phone was in the car). I also asked about the 20% off coupon I received via email and if that was linked to my account. (Again, it was on my phone in the car) She said “only certain VIP customers received that and I would have to show her proof. She acted as if I was trying to get away with something. I understand the new rules and am more than happy to comply, but a simple “I’m so sorry” would have gone a long way. I found out from another worker she is one of the managers. I would not ever want her to wait on me again.

I went in for a bang trim and the woman who cut it rushed through and didn’t even wet my bangs. She then cut them in about a minute and when she was done it looked as if a kindergartner had taken scissors to my hair. Seriously. It STILL DOES. I told her I like my bangs straight across. The line across my head is so damn on even it looks like a heartbeat line on one of those hospital machines in a dramatic show. It’s so damn uneven. NONE of the hairs are the same length. AND in the same sections that there are really short hairs, there’s also long ones that SHE DIDNT EVEN CUT? It’s absolutely disgraceful, I feel nauseous every damn time I look in the mirror.

Truly excellent store with friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. I basically know nothing about makeup and I went in to get color matched for foundation to cover up acne scars and even though I had a price range below normal, they helped me find a foundation I truly love. I wear it often now and I feel so good wearing it. Its makeup revolution btw. I didnt feel ashamed for my lack of knowledge or experience or for needing something more affordable. Would definitely go back and ask more stupid questions because everyone there is so dang nice about it.

Employees seem like they dont want to help customers. I overheard an employee tell another worker no flatly after she asked for help at the cash register. Workers do not know their own products. On top of that, the store is always a mess, testers arent where they belong, pallets are thrown everywhere, and displays are trashed. Negative vibes only.

This Ulta is the worst. I went today to utilize a 5.00 off coupon i received in a beauty finds by ulta kit that was valid until January 31st for specific brands within the kit. I had all ready tried to uae it online on both an on sale and full price item within the categories to no avail, so to the store I went. Unfortunately, the coupon was not registering at in store check out either, so a manager came over to first advise (without looking at the coupon at all) that it was for ulta brand products only. If she wouldve looked at it, she wouldve seen that was not the case. Since that talk off didnt work, she then told me it wasnt good on sale items. When i let her know we couldnt get it to work on either full price or sale items (which the coupon made no reference to excluding anyway) she said it was coming up as expired, even though it clearly wasnt and told me to call Customer Service. I called CS from the counter and after 15 minutes on the phone, they did end up replacing with a 5.00 gift card. What really sucks is how she handled it and the fact that she did absolutely NOTHING and still had the nerve to tell me that now it would work on the sale item and she was glad they got it straightened out. She didnt do anything but belittle my concerns and tell me to call customer service. Ridiculous - I was definitely reminded why I primarily shop at Sephora. Springfield Ulta is awful when it comes to customer service.... they dont care at all.

Usually, every Ulta Ive been in has a lot of employees ready to help you find what youre looking for. Maybe its judt that I was shopping late or the store was understaffed.. but it took me forever to find what I needed alone. The store was well kept though, and the checkout lady was very nice.

Another trip to our Springfield Ulta with a disappointing experience. I bought two of the Big, Sexy hair products- spending over 20$ on just that and did NOT get the free items purchased as promised. In fact, I had to ask the sales associate for them and she acted mad, barely looked and told me they only got a couple and they were out. Stop making promotional promises to these companies that you can’t keep! I spent almost 100$ just tonight and honestly wish we had gone to a different store.

Although I love Ulta’s rewards program and their products, I am extremely unhappy every time I shop in our Springfield location.It was no different today when I went t shop and their systems were down. Although they did have a note on the door, it was smaller than a postcard and was not very visible. I was standing outside minutes after they were suppose to be open when an employee finally came out (while 3-4 others had been staring at us through the windows behind the counter) and very rudely told us we couldn’t come in because their systems were down. This I understand because I do work in retail myself, but there was no apology or a please come back later.I’m continually disappointed in this customer service and hope there would be a change.

Three strikes and they are out. I have had two negative experiences I this store. However, I still went in today. The ad that covers today (5/22/18) listed brands and showed pictures of hair care products, buy two get one free. It specifically says mix and match. I carefully picked three from shelves that had signs and were in the pictures. When I got to the front to pay they said I could not mix, had to be from the same brand. Extremely deceptive advertising. I bought nothing I was so irate.

Its been a total nightmare having my hair done at the salon! One time it took 6 hours to color my hair and I left with it looking awful!!! My hair was orange!....I tried another stylist and wanted my hair a light blonde and I left with it a dingy brown!!! I asked the manager if she could fix it for me and she said I need to buy a special shampoo...... I paid $140 and now I have to buy shampoo to fix it myself! Not going back there they just cant seem to do hair good at all!!!!
