2nd time at this location. 1st time, there wasnt any soap in bathrooms for 3 DAYS!!! Had to use my own..... thus time, I pulled in and there is TRASH ALL OVER PARKING LOT WITH CANS OVERFILLED!!! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE! THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL

Day 2of3-showers were easy to reserve on the app(8am no waiting) AND CLEAN!The gentleman in charge of them was so professional and helpful. I gave him a $ tip. C’mon guys and gals if it were you would that make your day? We gotta take care of each other! Good job PILOT!Oh and BTW- like most companies there’s a shortage of labor all over. The Wendy’s is no different. I get it. The Mgr thank me for understanding.

We’re visiting Springfield for my husband’s grandmother’s funeral and are staying at a hotel right up the street from this Flying J. When we visited this morning, we were so touched at how truly kind everyone was.I lingered around the food case looking for something to eat and the sweet woman behind the counter asked several times if she could help. I have weird food allergies and can’t eat wheat or dairy, so I wandered off looking for something else.At the Wendy’s, I asked Heather about an item on the menu and I thanked her after she answered. I turned to my husband and said unfortunately I couldn’t eat anything there. Heather heard me and directed me to the wall that had the poster with the ingredients and food allergy status. I thanked her and explained I had food allergies and have an upcoming medical procedure and can’t eat berries, tomatoes, nuts or anything with seeds. She looked so happy as she realized they had potatoes and offered them as an option.I’ll be really honest here, I’m not a huge fan of potato wedges, but I absolutely ordered them because I was just so touched at all the effort she went through to help.We ended up purchasing a few things from the gas station side also and the same woman who attempted to help me at the hot foods counter checked us out. I don’t recall her name, but she was so pleasant and kind as we chatted about being in town for a funeral.It’s little stuff, like being kind, that really just makes all the difference in the world. We had a fabulous experience and will absolutely stop in any time we need anything while we’re here.

This place is way too puny to even think about fueling at 8pm. Two pumps are busted...the mgt was notified by phone of the snarled traffic but really seemed like she could care less though stating shell make an announcement. I heard no announcement and my 14 is burning up here more than I am. Get it together ppl. Poor.

This place is getting worst , no sanitized restrooms, all the towel dispensers out of paper towels, no toilet paper in all toilet stalls, with the covid going on not sure I should worried more of an infection stopping at this place.not having clean restrooms for the fellow Truck Drivers is not cool.Putting a star just because, then I couldnt public.

The Flying J in Springfield, MO...The Wendys is closed most mornings. Sometimes you can get breakfast, sometimes you cant. The store doesnt put out extra food to compensate. 4-wheelers are parked where trucks need to park. Some employees seem stressed out and miserable. Some employees are full of attitude (and have been since long before covid). I know there is a shortage of workers. But this is getting ridiculous. Maybe pay people a little more to work there so truckers, who struggle for places to park and eat, can actually get something to eat. Truck stops are so few I am sure Flying J isnt hurting for money. But this one has definitely lost my business.

Good store but the parking lost definitely needs attention!! Pot holes everywhere. Also, I was approached when in my parked car by a homeless person begging for money.

I recently visited this store and did a reset here. I wanted to right a review on the Verizon store located inside. I stopped in and bought 2 new phones and an IPad. Johna Wynn was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns I had. This store doesn’t get much exposure because it’s between the main store and laundry room but is sure to help if you just stop in. Very positive experience, thank you…

Professional drivers. Not all the “reserved” spots are marked, no signs, and the old markings are blacked out. So if they oversell the paid spots, they’ll tell you to move, and good luck finding something nearby.

Horrible place to go its always something there they dont have enuff of this they dont have that I went there the other day the manager told me he wouldnt help me because he was to busy with but there was only two people in the store with his 3 employees on duty place is always dirty I even asked the manager could I get a job here because he stated they were short handed he told me I wasnt good enuff to do what they do smh I wouldnt get this a negative 5

This is a bad ridiculous truck stop we have ever been at they dont know how to have clean and friendly service their employees dont care about truckers because if a driver is out of drive time they will bang on the truck door to get the drivers to go on violation and they will even take pictures of your truck looks like to me their employees need to know what soap and water is for and if a trucker parks here for their 10 hours rest brake they need to go else where and park I wouldnt park here

The most disgusting flying j Ive been to..and usually its clean...but at night there tonight...no coffee made no creamer everything dirty and 2 little girls up front chatting happily as if nothing better to do...Macayla does not need to manage yet she still has more to learn about upkeep of truck stops...JS....

The friendly staff here are great. There is a large c-store that should meet everyones hunger needs. The truck parking lot, thats always packed on a Sunday, is fairly large but has some very awkward angled spots to get into. The pump area was clean and fully stocked. The washroom was clean and tidy. There is a fair amount of green space, but avoid the far fence line where the lazy dog owners dont clean up after their animals.

The worst flying j in the USA. Garbage cans at trucker fuel islands over filled. The window cleaner brush over used and torn. 2 pumps dont work. Inside theres a line. Theres no food for truckers to eat. Stop at the pilot at joplin truckers not here

This place is a mad house! They let trucks just park anywhere and block other trucks in but the employees wont do anything about it

Worst experience ever at a flying j the manager Tim is is incompetent and cannot seem to keep his store and order. They are always out of food on the line and their customer service care skills are rude. You can tell that nobody there likes their job by their attitudes at all times. You can go there any day of the week and check out what Im talking about.

I forgot my fitbit in their shower room the previous day and when I called about retrieving it they said the maintenance guys throw everything found away after 12 hours. How is that a thing? it was a $300 fitbit.

Worst shower experience ever! very cold and no water pressure. Not at all impressed. Will not ever stop here for a shower again. On a lighter note the shower was clean. So yay for anyone who wants a cold shower.

This review is for Wendy’s only, should do 1 star, standing at counter a while, three employees look at me several times and did not say anything, some young guy about 300 lbs just standing around, I finally ask are they taking orders today, lady finally waits on me and I repeat my order three times, after I got my food big guy finally has time we to do something, made a smart remark, I said what did you say? Store was filthy and employees were sad excuse for Wendys. Will not be going back! 06/03/2021 around 2:15 pm on Thursday.

The lady with dark hair that worked cash register 4-5-21 around 7pm is great at her job, she had a long line but was running 2 registers running back and forth and greeted ever customer with a great attitude something us drivers dont see alot of, she needs a promotion for sure, as for the parking, looks like you can get a spot at a decent time and the creative spots start around midnight

Restrooms were a disaster! the floors were covered in either water or urine inside the stalls. the sinks were dirty and the whole restroom smelt awful

Friendly manager on duty the first night we stayed there..but the cleanliness of this place is horrible ..all the trashcans outside are over full the cold coffee and soda fountain area is very nasty not been cleaned properly ..half afraid to see whats growing under all the coffee makers ..not a bad place just if you want covid 19 or some other illness its a good place to get it

Everytime I go to this truck stop, The mans restroom is a Disaster !!! Really makes me wonder about the food being prepared here. Forget get about the fuel pumps youre going to have to wait longer then normal.

05-08-2021...My bad luck 2nd time I stop here. First time when I was stopped here manager talk with me very rough. I was reported on 911 and Pilot customer care. Today I see she was shouting on disabled person saying to get out from property, like this is her personal property. Why this travel center hiring that kind of Manager.

Nasty bathrooms. Bathrooms empty Nd nobody cleans them. Wait 55 mins on no. 1 position, but now leaving. Try to complain but they rude as shiiit

I feel bad businesses are suffering because people dont want to work, they are making too much on unemployment.The employees they do have are trying but they start in the weeds and end in the weeds.Management should hired a bunch of temporary employees get caught up then try to recruit quality people.Guess what 9 times out of 10 old people 50+ work better than this younger entitled bunch

It looks like lately they are limiting the hot water flowing through the shower heads. Every other foset has hot water. This issue has been noticed all around US. Showers are barely worm. You can get sick due to this careless approach towards drivers. Fines from Health Department would be appropriate!!!

Showers very clean, BUT!!!.... (Lol) OMG, watch out for the water getting occasionally really hot then back to normal! Outside of that, all good!

I like this place. I can’t stop here anymore. Every time I fuel here. The card reader isn’t working. So I have to go inside. Of course everyone thinks I’m just parking in the fuel island I come back out put in fuel and the truck in front of me is still parked. I do like this stop. Big parking lot friendly employees. Terrible card readers.

The store is great and great workers only down fall here are the bathrooms. I know the bathrooms arent 100% the workers fault, kinda seems like hard to keep up with people trashing them. Some guys cant help but be sloppy.

As is the case with most pilots and flying j locations, under staffing is annoying and frustrating. The workers are working to their best but with one person to do laundry and wash showers, four showers stand open and dirty and a line up of more than 5 waiting for showers while the worker is finding towels. How more staff!

You would think that for the amount of money you pay for a shower room, theyd atleast be cleaned, especially these days. Atleast take the trash out when cleaning.

In anticipation of arriving very late last night I reserved a spot in the afternoon to ensure I had a place to park when I got here. I have been using pilot/ flying J for many many years and always pay without question for a reserve spot. last night when I arrived there were no spots available, the lady working the counter inside at 1 oclock in the morning came outside and found somebody who was awake in their truck and asked them to move so I could have a reserved spot. then at 6 oclock in the morning an employee started pounding on my door telling me that I had to move my truck, that these are reserved spots my ticket was clearly visible in the window but the guy didnt take the time to look and once I pointed that out he still made me move my truck Saying that I was blocking other trucks from movie this was not the case he was just trying to justify his mistake I went inside and spoke to the manager who did not seem to care about what happened anyway.

Very dirty, I felt gross using the rest room here. I wont even say what the rest room looks like because its that gross.

Id like to point out two things of concern.1. The shower I took would not remain hot, even though I had it all the way to scaulding. Lukewarm, at best.2. I could not consistently connect to WiFi even though it said that it was open. It would connect for a very little bit, appearing that it will work, but no go. (I find this to be an issue with many Pilots/Flying Js, even though the company boasts of having improved their WiFi! ☹).

I wish I could leave a minus star......the wife and I have been driving for years across the country....and this flying j is by far the worst one....and..its new..only been open a couple years....I have never...never..been inside without being disappointed... horrible staff....when there is coffee,its garbage...doesnt matter if there are 20 people in line, theres only one register open.....I absolutely loathe this truck stop.....as of today, we will never return...never

I waited at least 5 mins for someone to walk over and help me at cinnabon. The person that helped me wasn’t even wearing a mask. Every customer I had seen in there wasn’t wearing a mask either, stores really need to start enforcing the mask regulations.

Asked the manager how long the wait for a shower was and just ignored me and walked away. No sense of customer service.

Stopped here for gas at 455 pm on July 2nd. Price posted on both signs was 2.77 gas at the pump was 2.85! Buyer beware

Still new, easy access from I44. Very clean. Friendly staff and plenty of parking. Wendys and an Auntie Annes plus a deli.

This has got to be the nicest Flying J I have seen so far @Clean, modern, very helpful and friendly staff. A++ in my book.Loved the parking lot layout, all trucks parked around the edge leaving plenty of room to maneuver. Also makes it obvious when lot is full and very hard for people to make their own spot where they are not supposed to, which makes it hazardous for everyone.Good model for future stores.

Very good truck stop very nice and large showers, lots of parking spaces, but probably half of them are reserved even for bobtail’s.... mostly during the daytime, you can find only a few free parking spaces .... I believe that some day they’ll have more reserved parking spots than free ☝️😐

Newer, clean, but VERY busy Pilot with a Wendys. Nice sized showers & good assortment of snacks, bagged food & fresh food (at PJ Fresh).Truck parking well sized & mostly easy to back in, even dedicated Bobtail spots - - but it fills up fast & is mostly full all day, lots of in & out!

Everyone here is friendly and very helpful...but only thing that I seen wrong during this trip was that they were totally out of Mt Dew(and I physically run off that 🤣)and the Ice Machine was down,and they were out of my brand of cigarettes in a carton(not too big of a deal with the cigs because Kim(clerk) said it’s actually cheaper to buy 10 packs apposed to a carton.The ordering manager just needs to pay a little bit more attention to inventory shortages.But other than that this is a great place to stop by for the night.

No parking, parked on the end of a row and after shutting down with no hours on the clock the manager told me to park on THE STREET. ON THE STREET PEOPLE, violate federal rules to move then told to park on the street. WTF

UPDATE: Done with this gas station!! Ive had to pull to different pumps due to card readers not working several times since I wrote the previous review. Done going inside and standing in line for a worker to swipe my card, done putting gas cap on and driving around to another pump. Went to 2 different pumps yesterday... card didnt work. I went down the road to the next gas station and my card worked just fine... never any problems there. Done with Flying J.Previous Review: Competitive gas prices but nearly every time I stop to get gas here there is a problem using a card at the pump. 70% of the time I have to pull to a different pump or go inside to have a clerk swipe. It is especially inconvenient in the morning when Im trying to get to work. There could at least be a message at the pumps that arent able to take cards, so customers with cards know which pumps to use.

All I needed was air in my tires, and the machine is out of order. ($1.50. Visa/MasterCard only.)

Easy in and out from I -44. Has RV designated pumps. Did not see a designated spot for rv:s to park but only looked around front. Gas was cheapest around with good Sam discount.

This place has everything! Plus, the staff here are very friendly and helpful. One of the workers took time to help my wife locate the item she was looking for and then showed her the best deal. Meanwhile, I was able to fill my tank and grab us some food at the attached Wendys.If you need a rest stop, its worth your time to make this the spot.

Love Pilot and Flying J stores. Theyre almost always clean inside and out. Their point system is way better than Petro/TA. Points work straight from the point card like a credit card. Can use your points at the fast food restaurant located in the store 99% of the time. The app. They have also has great weekly offers for drivers so download and check it out.

My husband, mother in law, and I went through the Wendy’s drive though. The food was great. No complaints. We aren’t usually that direction, but will certainly consider Wendy’s again if we are.However, the three stars is due to the following: we went inside to use the restroom. While my MiL were waiting, we watched the Cinnibun employee use the cash register, handle cash, touch something on the table behind her, then start messing with the frosting. She did not wear gloves, nor did she wash her hands at any point while watching her. That is not proper food handling period, much less during a pandemic. I have to say I’m glad I did not order anything from her. I believe retraining really needs to be considered. This happened about 1:30 pm.

On one hand it is a fairly updated typical Pilot. Restrooms were clean though trash cans were all overflowing (3 of them). Parking area seemed ample and fairly well lighted. Fuel island was clean-ish with the usual dirty drivers trash around but not unsightly. HOWEVER, Im only giving 2 stars because the staff is EXTREMELY lacking! I stood in for a full 5 minutes because there was only one cashier. Another two Pilot employees simply hanging around talking. Seriously Pilot? Get it together.

Nice clean restrooms. Great snack and food options. Several different restaurant choices such a cinnabon, Annies pretzels, and Wendys. I also have a sandwich shop with soup options.

The manager should see what need to b attentive. In that places of business due too to many truck driver that fuel up grab some to eat n they the clerks realize that there r to many ppls in that when the manager r assistant manager should take action cause mostly I only see one cashier

Express lanes are anything but... screen prompts are vague and the cashier was going from machine to machine doing it for people. It would have been much faster for her to just ring everyone up on her register. The food at Wendys was good, but again only 1 cashier and their food already takes longer to prepare. Our quick stop was ridiculously long!

Store was clean enough but ladies bathroom was dirty. Variety of hot foods besides the fast food place. Window scrubbers were new and buckets recently filled.

The shower never stay hot or warm always get hot in the cold stay more cold the water from sink stay hot yall make too much money from us drivers to take cold shower in 32 degree weather

This Flying J is a decent place, however my comment is regarding pilot / Flying J in general. Anytime it is a little cloudy or raining, you can almost guarantee most pumps will not work at the fuel Island. This prehistoric system they have in 2019 needs to be updated badly! It waste a great deal of drivers time trying to Simply fuel up. When you mention this to the management, they always have excuses about how they cant control the weather. If thats the case, then how does Loves, ta, and petrol managed to conduct business and not have issues when its raining. Perhaps everyone out there should consider those alternatives when the weather turns a little bit.

Big restrooms nice parking for big trucks. The store is really clean. Nice selection of hot food. I went to the Wendys to eat. The Male cashier acted high or just stupid. They have a lot of snacks and the store is well stocked.

I stop here 3-4 times a week, love the convenience and selection but lately Ive noticed little things that have started to slack. Gas pumps 6,8,10,12 have all had card reader errors in last few weeks requiring you to go in and prepay(Multiple cards and multiple people). The staff acknowledged there are issues with them, and when I suggested they put a sign on those pumps they acted like it wasnt a big deal. Also the ice machine on the right side #2 soda machine has been out of order for over 2 months. Hopefully management reads this and whips things back into shape.

Love this gas station trucker stop. Its got the coolest stuff in here however Im disappointed that they shut their coffee / breakfast house down at night now. It used to be nice location to sit and drink a cup of coffee with some friends while waiting for the sun to come up, the rain to go away, fog to clear or even the sun to dim a little bc its too bright to drive safely. You get the jest. Anyways. I love LOVES TOO :)

INFERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, annoying cell phone salespeople (youngsters who appear to be on meth) constantly BLOCKING YOUR PATH, as you attempt to enter/exit the shower/laundry/lounge area, and the store is often DIRTY AND UNDERSTOCKED!!! (These problems could be EASILY be resolved, with better management, and by REMOVING the cell phone store from the ENTRYWAY of the primary facilities...)ADDITIONALLY, many of their items are not PRICED, leaving you often CLUELESS as to how much money youre spending!!!Other than that, EXCELLENT facilities...

I took a 34 hr restart here Wendys was good just a little slow. Store and parking lot was clean. Parking for trucks can get a little cramped but pretty do able. Staff was friendly. Would be more stars but when I took a shower on Saturday night the shower was like warm at best.

Great place to get some excellent food, drinks or even satisfy your sweet tooth. They have all the amenities to let professional truck drivers, RV owners, and tourists get some rest in their travels. Customer service is excellent, and if you like Cinnabon, they bake them fresh right in the store.

I love it! Their lower gas prices has forced a couple of gas stations just up the street to do the same.The food looked quite delicious, just havent had a chance to try it yet.Im glad to see them move in.
