USE THE GAS STATION ACROSS THE ROAD. Probably the worst gas station experience I have ever had. I tired 3 different pumps on 2 different cards. One debit and one credit. Neither worked and it said to go inside. Then I saw other people were having the same issue, when I went inside the attendant told me to go back outside and try again because there wasn’t an issue. I did just that, me and two other people drove across the road the the other gas station and got gas with no issue. Good job flying J, I will not be returning and I would advise others to us the one opposite the road.

Came in for coffee and fuel ticket only @0700. I observed the most dirty coffee/drink area. Luckily I brought my own cup. This isnt a just got a rush type dirty this is months of neglect type of dirty. I would hate to see what the restrooms and showers look like. Its a shame its actually a beautiful store with so much potential. Apparently poor management is the problem! Do better Flying J. Hire someone who cares about your store and associates. Associates were trying more to go on break then doing their job. There should always always be someone at the fuel desk.

I was very happy with our stop here. We stopped here to fill up gas and were happy we could empty the black and gray water too. I read the reviews which made my husband and I nervous since so many were negative. We emptied the RV for $10 and were able to fill up our water too! We are pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the facility and friendliness of the staff.

Nice staff , possibly short handed, seeing a lot of rubbish around the parking area. Hard to keep up with so many truck drivers that are too lazy to put trash in the ample trash containers.Shortage of milk and can coke. Not the truck stops fault. The friendly staff make up for any issues

They have no customer service skills.The manager should aware her employees who the customer is.we pack their place every day and sometime it is caothic but impatient rude people like the boy who takes care of the trash dont help.I tried to explain him that trucks need to build up air in order to move bot the poor brains dont get it.

Garbage cans outside are full. Trash looming towards the entrance. Entrance/ exit doors are filthy. Mens bathroom is filthy. No toilet paper in stalls. This is unacceptable. I didnt spend a dime here.

Here at 10am September 5. No hot water for trucker shower, no cups, no coffee, and this place is dirty.

Store is nice enough, but parking and traffic here is nightmarish. We were trapped in our parking spot for 10+ minutes last night when we wanted to leave because the fuel lines back into the parking area. Came back this morning for a relay since the other driver was too lazy to drive to the 25% empty truck stop 10 miles from here. About half the spots are paid.Right now their fuel system is crashed so none of the pumps work.13:20 032121.

Wendys closes at midnight which is unusual.. No hotdogs on the grill. I guess this place doesnt care if drivers can get some food in their stomachs. No caffeine energy chocolates on the checkout counter. Was going to ask of they had any but the blonde behind the counter was too busy talking to another driver to pay any attention to anyone else.

Possibly the worst run truck stops I’ve ever seen... Friday noon and for 5 mins nobody in sight... really disappointed. Update.. had to get gas here... 8 mins to fill 30 gals of diesel fuel... 1/4 of the pumps are still down here after over a month... wowI thought a few updates were in order...As of 6-1-2018 it’s still the slowest gas pumps in the city... still horrible service... still horrible bump when u pull in.... still waits in line are crazy... still avoiding going here unless emergency... how about less time the the Browns nfl team and more time on this team?

Always clean, showers are what needs big improvement half the time no hot water or broken shower heads

The place is a joke. The Manager is rude and disrepectful, and that explains the employees attitude. The place takes a turn once the sunsets, never be surprised to find guys taking woman into the mens bathroom for some fun. Love this place. Cant remember the Guy managers name...(really tall...glasses) but he is always uber courteous. And Carrie is always calm and never forgets to smile when the pressure is on.

This Pilot is nice and clean. Showers look like they are new 👌🏾

In and out pretty darn quick. Easy to find what I needed. Fuel has never given me a problem. Tractor traffic has not been an issue. Construction has nearly been completed so bonus for that. Even the windshield wash buckets were full.

Since I have preferred Flying Js when I travel, I was glad to see one come to town. But when I finally go check it out, Im highly disappointed. It was very dirty and service was slow. They have some good variety and selections for food. But their soda machine is one of the digital selectors where everything comes from one spout, which means nothing tastes right.

Pilot J is the place to go if you need cheap Fuel and hot coffee. Dont eat much at these places but the coffee is always good hot and fresh 98% of the time. Bathrooms are usually clean and parking is ample. Also accepts Good Sams card which saves you $0.05 on the gallon

A very nice Flying J , love the Aunt Aunties pretzels, Wendy’s if it a burger your looking for. PJ Fresh another great food choice. Great coffee, good choice of snacks. Clean restrooms. Well stocked and friendly staff. A well managed location. Fuel islands clean, trash cans had been dumped.

Very impressed with the soup bar, soup smelled fresh and tasty, to quote, okurrrr hype on the soup also came with vegetarian options, and little wait. Also saw that the bathroom had a scrub soap which was pretty cool and exfoliating. The crackers were free too. The only reason I put 4/5 is because there was a pack of cigarettes in the toilet stall and thats a lil ratchet.

Do not see how this place has 4.1 stars. The bathroom needed attention , the beverage bar needed stock and clean. It is the worst beverage area I have seen. Ask for Creamer. Worker said he would get t. Then we seen him getting himself Wendys while we where waiting for him to bring Creamer.

Very clean restrooms staff is usually always helpful. And there is a great Wendy’s connected to it. The one thing that is an issue is the road for the semis is very tight and definitely needs to be redone. Get your stuff together Springfield city works.

Needs more parking. That, or they need to add ANOTHER location nearby. Its completely full night after night. Otherwise, great.

Convenient, friendly staff. Showers are pricey ($12 ea.) Especially for families or traveling in a group, it adds up fast.

We literally just finished driving across the Eastern half of the country from Washington, DC. This was the cleanest bathroom of the entire trip. We actually had to drag our daughter out and tell her it was weird to want to stay and smell the bathroom. Thank you.

Very clean and big showers love the showers but some of the employees ( cashiers) can be rude. But some are very nice and helpful. No parking ever if you dont get there before 3 no later than 4 there is no parking at all sucks and most of the parking is reserved which is not right because all the money drivers spend parking should be free.

Its a shame how a fully remodeled Flying J gas station is so filthy, toilets look like they havent been cleaned in more than a week, most of the coffee was out, disposable French vanilla out on both stations, and this is at 10 p.m.. I got a Cinnabon roll and I go to warm it up in the microwave... there is this old gooey water that had turned brown in color, manager Ashley was really nice and polite. The two stars go to the manager.

Nice clean rest stop. Easy to access from I-44 but not directly on it. Well lit gas pumps.

Interstate freeway quick stop. Gas n go. Or you can spend a few hours browsing, dinning or napping.

A real shame to have a nice new truck stop and have it so poorly managed. Two kiosks to save time and avoid the line at the counter. Too bad both were out of paper. So, 1 person working, 5 people in line and I get to wait. My favorite thing to do. How hard is it to put paper in your kiosk printers?

Great stop! Nice, clean restrooms. RV friendly, has dumping station which cost $10... We also treated ourselves to some hot, fresh Cinnabon rolls during our stop.

Stopped in here on a trip through Springfield to get gas and a few snacks for the road. Fairly decent place, somewhat clean place and friendly people behind the counter. We were in and out quickly.

Good food and decent selection. Bathrooms were clean. Easy to get in and out off the highway.

Flying J is usually fabulous, but today at the Flying J on Chestnut expressway Springfield Missouri, the trash cans are overflowing, trash is flying all around the parking lot and the cashiers are overloaded with people standing in line. Clearly understaffed.

New layout is good! Plenty of space! No aisles, just a wide(crescent shaped) parking row....approx. 80 slots + 10 reserved slots!

I have been here several times fir gasoline. They usually have one of the lower prices in Sprinfield. If you need a quick bite to eat, the food is good.

New truck stop on I-44 near Springfield airport. This is a great place to fuel up a rental before returning the vehicle. In addition, there is a Wendys, Auntie Annes Pretzel, and a Cinnabon inside. Besides the chains, there is a pizza shop and all the normal convenience store items. For travelers and truckers, there are also showers.

The staff at the wendys was great. They only had one cashier but he was working two registers and super fast and polite.

Whats not to love about a newer facility? Clean, bright and shiny like new money. LOL! Even the staff was outstanding.

Dont but anything from the Verizon there unless you stay around there!! He is not an authorized dealer. Anything you buy from there can only be fixed,replaced, returned at that location. You can not go to any other Verizon for help with what you have bought there. He sold me a tablet that was twice as more then at the regular Verizon store. So if you need Verizon service go to a retail store.

Out of my way but worth the trip for the best price on gas. Shop big enough to fill your shopping list.

This is a new one just opened in the last year.Plenty of choices to grab a quick bite to eat, with a Wendys, too. Got the Good Sam gas discount, and they also have rv islands. Stall were very nice.

Clean restrooms and showers, friendly staff and plenty of space to move around while parking your truck. Brand new laundry facilities. I hope they keep it that way. The last two Pilots I visited I hope I never have to stop there again.

Pulled in around 8 AM parking lot was already half full. Roughly 65 parking spots. This is a newer FJ. The staff was great! And they kept up with the coffee!

There is a ton of variety and options for food and drink. The Wendys and cinnabon are nice to choose from. However, the service is always slow here. They are self service checkouts but they are out of service or slow to respond. There are only 2 other cashier stations, which end up with long lines quickly.

I love the way i can go to Wendys and get gas at the same time so i dont travel far to another place to do both.

There are close to 100 free parking spots on the professional side. As well 17 reserved parking spots. Only 1 courtesy handicapped spot. On the preferred side there are 30ish parking spots.

Its nice. The hot water heater is apparently broken. So no shower. Very clean though. Nice staff.

Pizza had a weird after taste, not too sure about what exactly it was, wings and burritos were ok. Rating for the fact that as soon as we finished our food in the gas station section of this place 8 employees gathered on the table next to us and began gossiping and talking so loudly like they owned the store. There was alot of senior citizens around so I am surprised no one said anything. I couldnt find large drink cups for the drinks I purchased, nor an attendant around since they were all busy chatting it up in the food court, so I literally went to their supply area, got some cups and restocked them myself! Good thing I am just making a quick pit stop here. Proceed with caution~

Entire store customer service is wanting. Everyone seems fatigued to do their jobs. 4 waiting for showers at 11.30a on a Sunday morning. Dirty bathrooms in the morning as well. Long line in a single register while two employees are on smoke break outside. Just very much unlike the Flying J/Pilot brand.

The manager at this Flying J Miss Kelly is super nice. Gave me a free shower even though I didn’t have one. But one of the employees at Cinnabon black lady named Jay was very rude. It looks like she is not happy with her life. She threw cinnabons on the counter and addressed to me in a very rude manner. I bet her personal life is screwed and taking out on customers.

Would have been nice to have a quick a check out with two cashiers but one was sticking candy at the register and constantly pushing customers out of the way.

Its hit or miss if you are gonna find a Flying J with a clean bathroom. It would be nice if they kept their standards the same as Loves truck stops.

This Flying J is mostly all inclusive in regards to their offering. The store has showers, fuel, a PJ Fresh (basically a small deli of sorts), a Wendys, Cinnabon and Auntie Annes Pretzel franchise. Its important to note these are all franchises, and as such, do not typically honor nationwide promos and offers. Aside from that the Flying J is always clean and convenient. The staff is always a bit tense, and come across as angry or... impatient. If I had one complaint it would be the lack of friendlieness by the team. The Flying J itself is great overall.

Love Flying J/ Piolt stations, they have plenty of room for my travel trailer, there is usually a dennys or wendys along with a convenience store and some type of sandwich shop, great stop when traveling..patrick at the Springfield flying J came out in the pouring rain to help me back my trailer from a broken pump...now thats service.
