Amazing chocolate factory and shop on Historic C-Street! Delicious chocolate bars (Ive had all of them) and love that theyre sustainably sourced directly from the farmers themselves! My favorites are the Coconut Milk Bar and the Dark Chocolate Orange one!

Expensive chocolate that isn’t that great. The white chocolate is horrible. Very funky flavor. The packaging captivates all of us supporting fair trade with an earth friendly conscious. Sadly, the contents inside are not so good. There are other fair trade chocolates that are less expensive (with the same ingredients) and better tasting than Askinosie.

Delicious, smooth chocolate. I love their priorities of paying above fair trade wage plus their eco packaging. Highly recommended

Vegan approved! Askinosie Coconut Milk Chocolate Bar deserves 10 stars, instead of 5! I just read the President & CEOs story...wow! Im impressed with Mr. Askinosie. He is born committed to fairness, sustainability, minimal environmental impact, and community enhancement. I love everything about his company and I love this Vegan chocolate bar! This is my first milk chocolate bar (coconut milk) since going Vegan over two years ago. Im hooked!!! Thank you for making my stomach happy!

Came here last year before Covid hit. My mom is from the Philippines. I was sooo glad to see chocolate from my moms village and the money goes back to the farm! Worth the drive to go check it out. Idk if theyll let ya look because of covid but if they do its a great experience

The chocolate is not cheap, but justified once you try the free samples. Amazing goodness here. Try the crunchy one with chocolate nibs on the bottom. The vegan chocolate is also amazing. Fair trade.

One of my favorite Springfield, MO specialty retailers. Its worth visiting to see the scale of their operation. Luckily, they do eCommerce now so I can get my Davao 70% Dark Askinose chocolate fix in Little Rock, AR! Great entrepreneurship success story as well.

Went in the 10th anniversary. Never been there was interesting to see. Their chocolate is so smooth. Really good chocolate. The raspberry chocolate was blended well and not over powering. I just wish their chocolate bars were not $8-$11. Over all was cool to see the factory and historical building they are in.

I have been spoiled by this chocolate. I discovered this place while researching small batch chocolate companies in America for a project. I liked the mission behind the company, so I ordered and now I am hooked. The bars are expensive, but the quality makes it so you dont have to eat the bar in one shot - you can savor it over time. I also highly recommend the cocoa nibs.

Chocolate is absolutely delicious. Bars run $9-10. Only complaint is that the milk and white chocolate is made with goats milk, which has an aftertaste that I cant stand. Others might like that though, and there is certainly enough variety to satisfy anyones palate.

Along with my three children I like to give myself a sweet treat from time to time as well. This shop is actually not within my reach (I mean it is neither close to my home, nor to my office) but whenever I have the chance to go there and I do go there - the effort is always worth it!

This chocolate is not too sweet and is very creamy. Probably the best Ive tried, and Ive been looking for the best!
