My husband and I recently got a decent amount of steaks from here for a large family gathering. They took such good care of us! I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and their Covid19 safety protocol. I will definitely be back!

So this place has coronavirus and instructed their sick employees with positive tests to come back to work before 2 weeks of quarantine. Being that they serve the community and handle food, this is extremely irresponsible. They do not care about you or your safety. They do not care about their employees safety or basic human rights. They value profit over anything else and should be ashamed for putting people at risk for the sake of sale.

This is the Colonial Village Meat Market management. We are very disappointed to hear that our customers would think we would put them in harms way. During this pandemic, any of our employees who have been sick or tested positive have not been to work or on site. We are doing the best that we can during the pandemic. We even closed our store as a precautionary measure to clean and sanitize. All quarantine rules were followed and those employees affected were medically cleared to come back to work. These are the times that we live in now and we are doing the best that we can to safely serve our community.

This establishment is putting the community at risk by remaining open and letting their employees continue to work despite having COVID-19. Proper quarantine measures were not followed and this poses a significant health risk. I implore you not to shop here until they take accountability for risking the safety of the community for profit.

4 employees tested positive and they arent wearing masks or notifying costumers. This is not healthy when dealing with food of any kind.

Love this place! I shop here 4 times a week and will continue to do so! Every time I come in the staff is awesome and the service is great. Never had a better cut of steak before, and the my mother loves the pastina soup. Ignore the former employees trying to spread bs and keep doing a great job guys! And the Buffalo dip slaps!

Fresh and fair priced meat. Excellent little shop!

Colonial is a staple of the Springfield community. My family has been shopping there for years. Always a friendly staff and quality products.

They went above and beyond to get me a thicc cut and it was more marbled than a chinese checkers board. GREAT WORK !

Their food and prices are excellent! The food is always fresh and very tasty! I can go in there with $7 and come out with a sandwich and a beverage and still get back change! Now, thats a helluva deal! I had to do that at least 3 times out of the week especially when I didnt make any money over at Scott KIA selling cars! Thanks to Colonial, I didnt starvel! I highly recommend this place for grocery food shopping, as well as hot and cold food servings.

This was my first time visiting Colonial Meat Market, I’d called earlier to ask if they had a cut of meat I wanted, they did, and the butcher told me to just ask for him when I came to pick it up. This is my first time attempting a beef tenderloin, I’ve never even seen one.When I arrived, I asked him (Matt) for the tenderloin, he picked a nice one for me, trimmed it, tied it nicely in kitchen twain, wrapped it tight for me. Matt (the butcher) is amazing. Honestly, everyone I came in contact with was amazing. Everything was nice a neat, the store, although a little small, was very clean. I’m definitely a new customer.

Lousy selection. I can get a better selection and pricing at any number of grocery stores.

How do you know I was there?

The place was dirty. The employees were cursing. They were slicing raw meat in a deli with all cooked food. The cutting boards they have are old and moldy and most likely full of bacteria. They definitely need a thorough health and safety inspection.

Very helpful. The young man at the deli counter named Brandon has excellent manners and his customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend going there.

Its OK. I was looking for brisket. They didnt have it. (Giant had one for me) . Colonial has good service, but high prices. Quality looked good. Well go again, but only for special occasions.

Hands down been going here for many years now it’s a great place to get meats salads and do quick food shopping very nice people who run this place the only problem is that on the containers just say misc by weight so it can be confusing just wish the labeling could be more specific because I got tuna salad and chicken salad which looked like the same then my grandmother told me I got two chicken salads which I didn’t ask for but nothing else is wrong

As everyone else has said, the meat I get here is never disappointing. It surpasses what I can get anywhere else. And the service from the butcher staff is outstanding!

I have never once been disappointed in my purchases from this market. It is immaculate, well-run by friendly staff and their meats are always quality. I travel from Wildwood, NJ often and always stop in and stock up a cooler to travel back home.
