Our sales rep Telly Jenkins was great. The installers were also very nice. They listened to us and met our concerns. We switched from ADT where our system was out of date and the service was lacking . With Atlas we have modern equipment and a overall better system. I feel we more secure with Atlas and I know if we have any issues the folks there will see they are addressed.

Great Service!

One day after our equipment install, the water sensor in our mechanical room detected a water leak. This early alert saved us from a definite flood. Our family is so thankful for the quick actions of the Atlas team to contact us and walk us through what to do to reset the system. This investment paid for itself literally in one day.

We moved into our first home that already had and Atlas system, so I decided to go ahead and just take over the system. Atlas was great at making the set up easy, and after a little adjustment period, we had come to realize that one of the parts of our system didnt quite compliment our lifestyle the same as it did for the previous owners, and after reaching out to Randy and Gary, they happily sent someone out to swap that part out for something better for us at no cost. We enjoy knowing were protected by a local company, and our system gives us great piece of mind. Since their phone number is the same number their dispatch uses to call you, I found it was easier to get in touch with someone directly by email.

Great Experience all the way through. Sales team very informative. Installers were on time with a seamless install. Very quick response, less than 30 seconds when SHE burnt the pizza and set off the smoke sensor. Previous company was more than 10 minutes.

Had them install camera security in our church. Will not do what the said it would do. No training provided and will not send any notifications of intrusions. Have tried several times to get them to come out over the last 10 months but to no avail. We are supposed to be able to get notifications on our iPhones but cannot. The are faithful to COLLECT ON AUTO PAY EACH MONTH BUT NO SERVICE. THIS IS A BIG PIECE OF TRACH TO US NOW. A BIG WASTE OF OUR MONEY AND TRUST IN THIS COMPANY!

Atlas has always been great to work with! They are always working to keep up with the need for new technology. We have been able to add on to our system over the past couple of years to include panic buttons, the fire system, and may look at adding the water sensors in the basement at some point. Atlas Security installed and monitors our security system for our office as well as in my own home. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. When we accidentally set off the alarm, the calls are always friendly and professional. Its also nice to know that my home and office are being monitored by local folks right here in Springfield!Within a few months of getting our office system installed, our video surveillance was used to identify some thieves from a nearby break-in. Randy is a great account manager. Very responsive and gets the job taken care of. Install went a bit over the time frame, but they held their word on the initial quote when their labor was well over what was quoted. Would use them again if installing at another facility.

Jon Taylor and Atlas Security have been providing security services for our business and home for many years now. The service is great, the price is reasonable and Jon is always quick to answer any questions we may have.

When it comes to security systems there is only one individual and one company that I would trust that makes any home, business or facility protected. That individual is Jon Taylor aka security ninja with Atlas Security.

I love the idea of supporting local businesses but I cannot justify willingly giving my money to this company anymore. We have had their security services for over three years now only because we haven’t taken the time to switch to another company. When I called to cancel our services today, they let me know that we had a 5 YEAR CONTRACT with them! That is insane! I know that is not an industry standard because I just got a quote from Vivnt for the same services, at the same price as Atlas for month to month service. NO CONTRACT. When I looked over the contract my husband had signed over three years ago I see that it is in fine print on the contract that we are contracted for 5 years. That is a bad business practice in my opinion. I don’t think my husband would have signed up for their services knowing this upfront. Either way, we are not happy with the service that we are provided which is why we would like to switch companies. Our alarm lost power last night during a storm and they called us multiple times and left multiple voicemails on our phones rather than send someone out to our property to see if everything was ok. What is the point of having a security service if they don’t send someone out when an alarm goes off? A useless company with horrible service that we are stuck with for another 21 months. I would never recommend this company and find their practices to be shady and unethical.Update: This review was written on Friday and here we are on Tuesday afternoon and there have been no attempts made by the Sales Manager, or anyone else from Atlas for that matter, to contact my husband or myself to try and resolve our issues. Obviously, the response below was just an attempt to save face and to try and act like they care about customer service. Their actions tell the truth though. I guess I will have to reach out myself to see if anything can be resolved.

I have been a commercial and residential customer for 10 years now. I have a very professional experience during building projects, etc. I love that they are locally owned and have integrity as a core value. They are always prompt and courteous when dealing with false alarms. They did install a waterbug sensor in my office in case of water leaks. Well, that got put to the test on an accidental flood in our office that set off the alarms bringing the leak to our attention. It literally saved 1000s of potential damage dollars from a 300 gallon system leaking in to our service area. What a great idea that I didnt even know existed. Highly recommend.
