Amazing piercing experience. Loved the process, and the excitement leading up. Eddie has done all 3 of my piercings and never hesitates to answer questions, no matter how silly they may seem. Great folks, they know what theyre doing. You dont need an appointment, just make sure you have enough time to wait. I got a septum piercing, plus both my ears. Very affordable. They also didnt forget to mention saline solution which I did not know I would need.

Brought my daughter to get her nose pierced and we didnt mind the wait because there was plenty to keep us distracted. The piercer did great at making my daughter feel comfortable and confident. I was worried she would panic or get scared but the price was great for the service. Highly recommend. Only issue is there is enough cool stuff that we spent more than we initially planned... Oopsy!

Very enjoyable experience! I took my 9 yr old daughter to get her ears pierced and the staff made her feel very safe and included. They spoke to her directly and treated her as an adult! I will definitely use them for any future piercing needs! Big shout of to Shawn for taking such good care of my princess!!

I got my daith done yesterday, and two of my other friends got piercings as well. I had never had a cartilage piercing before and I was really nervous. Eddie was our piercer and he was AWESOME. He was funny and walked us through the process and aftercare and answered all our questions. I am definitely going back for other piercings! The wait was a little long, but there was stuff to look at around the store to keep you busy. Prices were a little high but nothing terrible for how good the piercing was! So glad we decided to come here!

Got pierced by Shane yesterday. They made the whole process very smooth and answered all of my questions. I am so in love with my piercings and will always come to Kaleidoscope if I want a new one! I also had a piercing done by Ben back in 2014 and Ive never had any issues with it.High quality jewelry downstairs and cool smoke shop upstairs.

Kaleidoscope is a pretty classy store and they have everything from long journey to adult things and even even in good out into the heavy days and say peace signs from the seventies and find what you need if you know what I mean. This place is way cool!! When you enter , there is an array of things to see downstairs. I believe jewelery and body piercings , along with other cool merchandise . Up stairs is the head shop and tattoo studios, whether your upstairs or downstairs, everyone who works there is super polite and willing to help. Theyre friendly and dont make you feel less for asking a silly question you may know nothing about. They are really knowledgeable about their products and selections and are able to help you find the perfect item to fit your need.

What can I saw its Kaleidoscope. I am able to pick up all of my supplies for my medicine upstairs. My wife and I get our tattoos from them, and some adult bedroom toys down in their Eros beautique. Best glass shop in town.

They have great piercing staff and tattoos and they also help out the homeless with shoes bags sleeping bags food cards

Ive gotten 4 piercings from here, and every single one has healed well and both piercers are very nice and knowledgable!! I went to Ben for 3 of them and Eddie for the 4th one. They both did them quick and easy. They eased my nerves (fear of needles but addicted to piercings and tattoos). My nostril piercings were done a year and a half apart and they are lijed up perfectly!! My septum and tragus piercing healed so well!! They both gave aftercare instructions and were very professional. Would 110% recommend to anyone who asks.

Piercers at Kaleidoscope have done all of my piercings so far. All the employees/piercers have been wonderful to me, always super helpful when I’m looking at jewelry, and always so on top of answering my questions and whatnot.And the piercers are excellent at what they do! Even with my more personal piercings, they’ve made me comfortable and ensured the environment felt nice.Will always be returning to shop, and I highly recommend them!!

Truely a one stop shop! Love this place! Its a very cool store, friendly atmosphere filled with all kinds of hippie style items, smokers accessories, jewelry and so much more! Theres a piercing shop inside on the main level, go upstairs and theres a smokeshop and a tattoo shop! Plus theres an adult store in the same building next door! Who could ask for more!?!

First off absolutely love the store. Go to this store for all my rings (easily 30). Had a real polarizing experience today. I usually have such a fun time talking to the people behind the counters and asking about stuff but today I got the oddest experience. I had got some paintings first and then went to look at rings, found the rings I liked and then had to wait about 10 minutes for anybody to come over so I can try them on which isnt a big deal cause they were busy. but the guy that came over just instantly took the paintings and asked us if we were ready to check out while we were looking at the rings. He was just kind of snappy the entire time . I just left in a bad mood which is really odd for whenever I go to kaleidoscope. We bought the rings and left. We got back to the car and noticed that one was missing a jewel. So we had to go back inside and we got a different guy completely changed around my attitude he was so nice and we got a replacement ring without any hassle. The second guy made sure Id be coming to the store for a long time

This is a rad place! There is so much to look at. 2 floors of tchotchkes, smoking supplies,and an adult store all under one roof, I could spend hours and lots of cash looking at things. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was fairly busy, but social distancing was enforced. Masking was required for the unvaccinated. I cant wait to go back again!

Piercer definitely does not know what he is doing. I would not suggest this place at all. I know many people who’ve had to get their piercings removed or had piercings infected because of it being done incorrectly.

DO NOT GO HERE, I was just scrolling through my fyp and this girl got her piercing taken out and they did so bad they were not properly prepared and they weren’t being professional, This girl had to suffer with live tissue on her face and they told her it would just dry up and fall off. 0/10 do not recommend

Kaleidoscope is your counterculture One-Stop shop. everything they offer is really high quality and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and polite if you need a hemp bag go to kaleidoscope. If you need incense, go to kaleidoscope. If you need a pair of E-40 boxers, go to kaleidoscope. They got some of the best tattoo artists in town and the place is clean. They dont sell certain items that might encourage some of the more questionable elements of the Queen Citys population to come there if you know what I mean. Its almost like a boutique and Eros, the adult store that is connected to Kaleidoscope is well stocked and tastefully appointed. Dont forget though, its a tobacco water pipe. Whatever you do, dont forget that you cant say that other name everybody calls it while youre in the store. Have fun!

Such a long wait to get my ears pierced. Didnt seem to be a call in to set up appointments. You signed up when you got there. And had to sign a waiver for to get your ears pierced. I guess I get it, but never had to do that anywhere else. After and hour wait, I ended up going to piercing pagoda in the mall. I was in an out in 10 minutes.

Got my nose pierced here last month and now its possibly infected. I think they pierced me with stainless steel jewelry even though I purchased titanium.

Shane re-pierced my ears with 14 gauge hoops the other day. Nice job, very professional. Good conversation. I got right in. Today I went in to have my septum pierced. They were very busy but got my paperwork filled out quickly and gave me an estimated time. I went down the street to grab a bite and came back. Eddie did my septum and I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever. Very impressed and super nice guy. I think theyre a little high on price but whatever. Its a cool place and they are all so friendly. I moved here from Portland Oregon where often times I would walk into a place and they were so full of themselves and rude. Not this place. Im in my mid forties and probably some would say Im too old to be having body art done. Not this place. No one made me feel uncomfortable or like I was out a place. I give them five stars. Great people and super clean.

Had to get earrings removed for an MRI then returned here to have them reinstalled. All workers here are great folks to deal with. The piercers are exceptional people and thats why I only got my piercings done here & will do so in the future!

I had surgery and they required me to take out my earrings. My surgery was on my right hand & I couldn’t get my earring back in. Not only wouldn’t they try but they also refused to repierce it. So I hopped on over to Next Generation Tattoo where she gently replaced it at no charge and did the new piercings I wanted.

I’ve never been to kaleidoscope before but my friends really recommended it so i went for my birthday. i got my nose pierced and my first tattoo. scheduling my tattoo was really easy and zach did a great job. he was really nice and i’d definitely come back. i had to wait for my piercing but it went by really fast because the store is intriguing. i can’t remember the name of the guy that did my septum but he was also super nice and fun to talk to. thanks guys:)

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They treat their clients terribly and if you ask for their manager they pretend she’s not there. They remove your dermals in the most painful unsanitary way possible and if a tissue or flab of skin is there they pretend that it’s “supposed to happen” and that it will “fall off in time” but when it doesn’t and you call them they act like your crazy

Kaleidoscope has been one of my favorite stores in Springfield for smoking supplies/clothing/jewelry/incense/decorations and much more for years. They are always patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. If they dont have something, they will round one up for you. They always make you feel welcomed, assuming you are of age (they i.d first thing every time-No Peeking youngsters!) They somehow manage to find a way to balance giving you your space and helping you find what youre looking for. Ive always been very picky about my glass so I love to spend my time browsing...never once have any of them ever made me feel rushed. They run a little but on the pricier end but sometimes you can find a great piece for a very reasonable price. They are always helpful with returns but, fair warning- be familiar with the stores policies on certain items before purchasing! Yes, folks, its a grown up store, but be mindful of certain vocabulary, as these guys play by the rules! They have a piercing studio below (certain piercings unavailable, last I knew. This is due to covid. However- this may have changed with mask policies changing) and a tattoo studio above for all you ink junkies or even those of you looking for a first tatty (again- this isnt the cheapest studio, but ive gotten several tattoos here, including my first, which is still my favorite)Its not the biggest selection ever, but one of the largest as far as local shops. They have something for just about everyone it would seem, in spite of this. Definitely worth checking out.

This is my first-stop shop for piercings. I have 15 piercings--14 were done by Kaleidoscope--and one was done at another piercing shop; but that piercing didnt heal right and Kaleidoscope made it better! Ill never get piercings anywhere else. Theyre all super sweet, and the jewelry they offer is beautiful!

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been 3 times in the past month and it is by far the best piercing place I’ve been to. The staff is very nice and helpful and answers and questions or concerns you have about a piercing etc. Ben is great. And I love the different types of jewelry/variety in stones. They’re very clean and the piercers have light hands. By far the best!

Had a a great experience here! We walked in, explained what piercings we wanted, and we were put on the schedule and given a wait time. We were told what everything would cost up front, and when it was our turn Shane was so quick and clean and professional! He answered all of our questions and was very friendly. It was quick and (mostly) painless, ha.

Never a bad experience! I had somehow got home with someone elses stuff and was gifted the cutest lil Kaleidoscope tray and lighter for being honest...that says a lot about the management style of the business. I will always come back and spend my money here!

I went in to get my eyebrow pierced and the guy accidentally punched me in the nose before piercing the wrong spot. Id rather get hit by a bus and die a tragic death than come here again.

Just curious of how the store looked today compared to many years past and oh boy! So much to see. Even has an upstairs added. I spent an hour browsing and they do tattoos and body piercings also. The workers were very friendly and the products make me laugh. Im glad we stopped and will be back again for birthday cards and presents. I love this store.
