I purchased tires from Tire Rack, and had them shipped to the store. I called them up once they were confirmed as delivered, and got an appointment set up for the following morning. Very friendly folks, clean, COVID safe store. I had a very pleasant experience. I will be back!

I’m a longtime customer and always enjoy be greeted by Jeff the mgr, along with Fred. Today I had an alignment on my Tahoe which went well but I was disappointed to learn my favorite service technician was no longer employed here at this NTB.I’ve known Roger James for almost 20 years and when available, he would be the only technician I’d have service my vehicles.I’ve even followed Roger from several other establishments he has worked at just to have him service my two vehicles. I’m not alone in feeling this way. I’m a retired city Police Officer and many other members in the division have also asked where Roger James is working?I highly recommend rehiring Roger James back. Service was pretty good, timelu, if you have an appointment. They gets you in and out depending on what you need repaired on your vehicle.

They tell you one price over then phone and then overcharge you once they’re done. While I was in there they tried to charge a guy $25 to install a battery lol. Would not recommend this place.Edit: @NTB Bechtle: Replying the same thing to every complaint that isn’t a positive review of your business makes you look even worse. If you’re reading this and looking at previous reviews, it’s pretty obvious that NTB Bechtle could careless if you have a bad experience. Once again would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was out of town and had my tire go flat. They were really great and didnt charge me to fix it since I brought it in loose. Roger, the manager, told me that I already did the hard part for them by taking it off the car. Thanks guys! Ill be sure to look up the local NTB when I get back home. I would really recommend this place!

Oil changes and tire rotations are pretty standard. I gave this location 5 stars because they actually made a mistake with part of my service (which is human) and then took accountability for it, and even refunded the service after fixing it. I will return here because I am confident they (and their manager, Steve) will take care of their customers.

Friendly staff, always give you an approximate time when your car will be ready. Reasonable prices!I like them too because they give you a rundown of what your car needs are, but do not pressure you to buy. I recommend them!

They cheated my mother-in-law and I gave them the benefit of the doubt, now they cheated my daughter-in-law too! Do not go to this business! She bought four new Michelin tires and one tire was defective, it was flat before she got home. The same day they told her there was no warranty. Horrible way to do business.

Just had complete front suspension done brought it in for alignment and the guy tells me they cant do anything with it cause theres saws and other tree equipment in the bed of truck. As a former NTB/ big o tires technician I know for a fact it can be done

1/24/21 Asked about changing the rear shocks on my Dakota pickup. I already have the shocks. They are a replacement for the ones on the car from a lifetime warranty. The price quoted was $180.00. I have 2 quotes of under $100.00 that included new shocks. Update:: 1/25/21 No, I would say that my experience clarified pricing and where NOT to go for any repairs.

Had a rough start but Jeff and Steve did a great job taking care of everything for me. I appreciate them resolving the issues and finding a way to move forward.

On 01/17/2020 I called national tire and battery located at 1721 N Bechtle Ave, Springfield Ohio regarding tire instillation. Spoke with Steve...was informed that they could service my vehicle today and that it would be an hour wait. Great because I really needed my tire replaced ASAP, especially considering the change in weather. I arrived and informed the worker again what tire I wanted for my vehicle and he asked if I could give him 3 hours with the vehicle. At that point I asked if he would be able to fit me in early tomorrow morning as it was already late and I had my child with me. He was able to get me in at 10:30 am ..once again I made it clear what tire I wanted and was told it was in stock. He also made me aware that there was additional fees (which I knew). 01/18/2020 I arrived for my appointment, they got my car inside and after waiting there for 45 minutes they came out and told me they don’t have the tire in stock. Like wth??? This was a total waste of my time and bad customer service.

Had a 1:30 appointment for oil change and fix a tire. Hour later and it still hasnt been touched

This place was a rip off. They tried to change the quoted price and tried to charge for unneeded services. To beat all the guy tried to follow my husband out in the parking lot and fight with him. My husband is 63 plus was wearing a face mask. If he would have touched him he would have went to jail. We heard him ripping off a lady in front of too. Never go there. Theyre rip offs.

They gave me a price out the door and it ended up being way more. also did a alignment and charged me for it when I told them I didn’t want it. I left there and my check engine light came on. currently trying to figure out what is wrong with it.

Went in on Sunday with a rear tire issue (nail) and these guys did what they could to help me out. They were very friendly and one was a comedian! Tires can be very stressful, so I definitely appreciated the funny guy!!

I have dealt with Jeff, the Manager, at the Bechtle Ave. store in Springfield, Ohio multiple times for both of My cars. He has always been highly motivated, helpful and Professional. He also has used his experience to warn me on potential problems on my older Vehicles that would have cost me to waste money and he was right and did save me money when he could have just made the sale instead.Today I went in to NTB for an alignment on My 1998 Volvo S70. I explained that I have purchased alignments at NTBs competitors in the past on other Cars where my Daughters Mother has complained to me about the steering wheel not being set straight. I further explained that I did not wish to hear this complaint from Her and to Please be sure that the steering wheel would be straight for Her.Jeff assured Me that it would be straight and discussed this with His technician Travis and Travis made it So. Tire on my car had a slow air leak. Arrived for my appt. Appreciated Jeff ensuring good communication as I handed him the keys. My car was on the lift and in the air shortly thereafter ... battery checked, air leak found, tire patched, fix tested, tire balanced, tire remounted, lug nuts torqued to spec ... all done at a fair price with timeliness, courtesy, and professionalism.Very much appreciated several other smaller attributes of my visit. A highly pleasant an enjoyable experience.

Ive been here twice for simple tire repair/oil change services. Both times I had to replace my CV Axle joint a few weeks later. I was told Anything can damage the boot that protects the joint. At another shop they showed me the damaged boot. It had not been damaged. It was cleanly cut. I will not trust them with my car again.

I had them replace the tires on my car. After a lifetime of buying expensive tires because I was too lazy to do the research, I bought the cheapest tires they offered. They are awesome, and I saved a boatload of cash. The guy was friendly and helpful. They started right on time and finished right when they said they would. Super easy transaction, I will be back.Update: 4 months have passed and Im still loving my tires.

After several times of going to Wal-mart. I decided to stop at NTB instead. Im glad I did. I got better tires, better service and the people were friendly. I needed tires and had to work today. The manager took my car and worked on it himself so I could make it to work on time. Ended up buying 4 BF Goodrich tires and plan on going here from now on for oil changes and basic car maintenance.

They did a good job on the tires and alignment. Took an hour longer than they said. The rebate isnt worth it. Its a gift card for use with 500$ or more work next time.

These guys are nice, courteous and very helpful. I needed new tires, and the ones I wanted were not in stock. The manager took it upon himself to drive an hour away to get them from another store. They go above and beyond to serve their clientele.

This place is awesome, as your greeting by the tire people who knew u could make people out of tires. Then the great service with the guys up and then the very knowledgeable guys in the back shop. Would definitely recommend to all friends and family.

Didnt seem very knowledgeable about tires and really seemed understaffed. As much as I hate German township I took my buisness to Firestone.

I paid them 20 dollars to tell me what was wrong with my car. They told me it was all four of my struts. They quoted me a really high price of $1,500. I got the work done at another shop to find out it did not fix the problem. Turned out to be a little wear on my sway bar that caused the noise. Thanks a lot for costing me about $1,020. I would go elsewhere for an accurate diagnosis of your car problems.

We’re driving cross country and ran over a screw on the interstate 230 miles from home and they squeezed us right in and patched up our tire and mounted it back on quickly. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming since we had our 2 dogs with us and it was 19° outside.

I brought my car in due to poor service from another car maintainence business. I was very satisfied with the service I received from NTB and I will bring my car to the business from now on. Friendly and efficient sevice.

I had them verify some work done by another shop...and scheduled some additional work!They did a walk through of the bogus repairs and the completed work!

It is so nice to find a small in Springfield that does honest quality work. I like that they have familiar faces when I go in. I had tires and a preventative fuel flush done on my car. They did it in an hour and gave me two free tires.

Ive been coming to this NTB for a while now all the way from the Beavercreek, which about an extra 30 minutes, but its 100% worth the drive!!. Staff is always very welcoming and helpful with answering any questions I may have about my car! Today I came in for an oil change and I was in and out of the shop in a quick amount of time! The guys here are always going above and beyond when it comes to working on my car. They have never tried to tell me I need to get unnecessary work done to my car like other locations or stores. I come in to get my oil or tires looked at and if I need other items fixed they never make me feel pressured into buying something that I dont actually need. GREAT STORE!! Glad Ive become a regular at this location!

Poor service!I had my Buick in because it was running funny. they diagnosed it to an ignition module and coil ($509). I was traveling and needed to fix it so i told them to fix it. When i got it back on the road the it drove the same. so i spent the $$$$ or nothing only to get stranded on the road! thanks for nothing! i took it to another shop and they diagnosed it correctly to a faulty exhaust. Next time dont guess , but there wont be a next time for NTB!

Hands down, the best auto shop in Springfield. Fred is absolutely amazing, was able to work with me in getting my car fixed quickly for an incredibly fair price. These guys really make the customers well being their main focus, and did’t make me feel like I was being taken advantage of. If you’re in Springfield, you should absolutely go to NTB every time.

So today as I was driving from my home in Indiana to meet at a 1/2 way point in Ohio to get my son back from a visit with his dad, I got a message that one of my tires had low pressure. I stopped at a gas station to fill the tire with air and went on my way. I kept an eye on the PSI and noticed that it continued to drop...I obviously had a leak and needed to get it fixed to ensure I would be able to get my little boy back and return home safely. Being a Sunday, many places were closed, but luckily NTB in Springfield, OH was open. When I got there, I was told it would probably be a couple hours before they could even look at the tire since they were pretty busy being a holiday weekend...not exactly what you want to hear when you know you have a couple hour trip back home ahead of you, but nothing else I could do except wait. Luckily, they were able to take a peak a little earlier than expected and they said that I would actually need a whole new tire and unfortunately they did not have it in stock...another bummer. Jeff was honest and told me that since my Jeep was still new with not a whole lot of miles on it, he would recommend using the same type of tire to avoid any possible damage being done to the 4WD system. He obviously didn’t want to turn away business, but knew what he would do if it was his own vehicle, so he told me about the Firestone up the road. After some back and forth with a couple of those stores and them not being able to actually replace my tire, that they did have in stock, until the following day, Jeff graciously offered to put the tire on for me. All I had to do was go pick it up from the Firestone store and bring it back to him. I appreciate this kind gesture more than he knows! It ensured that the proper tire was put back on my Jeep and that myself, son and a baby girl on the way, would all get back home to Indiana safely, today! So Jeff, I sincerely thank you for your honesty, generosity and awesome help on what could have been an even more stressful day!! And thanks so much for getting it all done as quickly as possible!!

Went there after getting off work around 6:30 pm to get new tires for my Jeep. There were 3 other customers ahead of me and they close at 8pm. Manager on duty Donny told me they would be able to get them done yet that night. They stayed until almost 8:30 just to complete my vehicle. And were very pleasant about it. Even put my spare back under the Jeep for me. Definitely will do business with again when needed.

Told me my battery was up to die and if I did replace it I might get stranded in the middle of winter. Went elsewhere to find the battery was fine, which is still is, two years later. Went back again to get a quote on something else which was also a negative experience. If you go here, GET A SECOND QUOTE ELSEWHERE.

They Didn’t get a chance to work on my car because I was told one price on the phone, then I got there for my appointment then raised the price a extra $100.00 for the same thing. So I called Firestone and wow wouldn’t you know it. Got it done there for the price that( NTB) told me. So anyway firestone was the better choice for me 5 👍👍👍👍👍 up.

This is a great NTB location! I completely recommend this place if you are in town. Its really important to be able to trust the places you take your cars for repairs. This place gets an A+. I have brought my car here for nearly all of my service needs & always leave knowing my car has been fixed well & right. (I have had oil changes, alignments, new tires, complete brake systems, battery, and tire balancing to name a few) I also appreciate the manager, Jeff, who has taken the time to explain things to me on different occasions in depth when something needs done, or if I have any questions. (Rather than some places that could just say you need X/Y/Z done or have you feeling worried about your car & safety if you dont get repairs then and there.) The other manager, Jerry, is also very helpful and informative. I strongly believe this place takes pride in their work and values their customers! Great job NTB!

Went there for oil change $20.But Then they want to charge me more than $500. They tried to (con)vince me that my car needs power steering fluid flush and they want to change the brakes of my car.Well ... No thanks. I just want oil change. Thats what my car manual said so.

I bought 4 tires for my 2015 Jeep Rubicon for $1600 and after I dropped the Jeep off they called and said I dont think the tires will fit on the balancer but we can put beads in them to balance them. I said ok. On my way home there was so much vibration. I was looking at the tires and noticed they didnt take the old wheel weights off. So basically I paid $70 for a balance I didnt get. If they didnt know what they were doing they should have told me up front. I ended up going somewhere else to have the balance redone so they made money on me for work that was not done right. I will never have them do anything for me again. Very incompetent.

I called them told them what I needed. Tires for my car. So basically waited and called. After 1 and 1/2 weeks and putting air in my tires now 4x a day. They wanted me to bring deposit in and still wait another 4 days.

Jeff went above and beyond to ensure I had four new tires on my horse trailer the next day. I was stranded 150+ miles from home, without his extra effort I would have been stuck here for 3 days!

Our car was there for 4 weeks waiting on factory parts. They put it inside every night. Jeff, Jerry and Fred were friendly and exceptionally helpful.Fantastic customer service!!

Jeff was fantastic. We need low profile tires for our Miata on a Sunday and Jeff personally drove a half hour each way to pick us up a set.

I went here to buy tires that were under a buy 2 get 2 promotion. I got a quote over the phone that I thought was fair. When I got to the store which was a long drive for me, they said it was wrong and they gave me a more expensive quote. They blamed the computer for my initial quote. I walked out and didnt purchase any tires.

I went in Friday morning with no appointment as I wanted a new battery. Fred got me in and out within 40 minutes! I was on my way with a new battery and warranty! I commute to work 45 minutes away and I knew it was time to update! NTB also can check your battery life!

No star review! First red flag was they told me I needed new struts on the front and they had been replaced in the last two years. Second was the oil pan plug was stripped out and another shop fixed the problem at no cost.Also they wanted to do more work than needed. Then as a final note, I ask to seal the new tires to the rims, by cleaning the rims and sealing the tire to the rim. (I was tired of pumping up tire in the winter!) They were flat with in a week! I am not pleased with there service , mainly because when I brought it back to get fixed, they said it would be a week till I could get in! Thanks but no thanks. I could have done better at wal-mart. over a thousands dollars spent . Whew, glad it was not more. I Would recomend Integrity auto up the street, fair and honest price too.

We came in with a battery light after having got the battery replaced the night before. We came to the shop not wanting to take any chances on the highway on snowy weather. The guys here were very helpful, endulged us with a quick test drive, and they didnt even charge us for any of the tests when they couldnt find a problem. Thanks!

I bought the roadside assist when I bought tires last year. I had a flat tire took it in to utilize what I had paid for last year. I waited 2 hours just to have my fixed. I paid a lot of money for this and I didnt appreciate being the last one to be waited on!

Tire needed replaced even though they were closing they took the time to quickly change my two tires. Thank you now the kids can get to school without a problem in the morning and the wife can get to work.
