I had an issue that, in my opinion, was not handled in a correct manner. When I spoke with Ted, owner/manager of the establishment, he bent over backwards and is in the process of making things very right. I commend them for their honesty, integrity and focus on customer service and satisfaction. I will update this once the work on my motor is completed. Thank you Ted for working with me.UPDATE:I picked up my vehicle today and I was more than pleased. Everything that this fine establishment has promised me, they came through with flying colors on. This is a testament to the integrity and quality and ownership of any issues that JT Auto and Ted take. Believe when I tell you, if there is an issue, JT Auto staff and management don’t run from it but they embrace it. And they fix it.In closing I will tell you, this is not your average, run-of-the-mill auto repair facility. My SUV had a Check Engine Light and other Mechanics did not have time to do a Proper Diagnostics on the it, even with an appointment that was made, So it was time to look for a New Shop!! So I looked at some reviews at other shops as well as JT Auto Repair, liked what I read. Called and Talked to George who works the Desk, Perfect Customer Skills, makes you feel like you have been coming to JT Auto Repair for years Took my SUV in they located the problem, throttle body needed to be replaced, they had to order, and they recommended Control system cleaner and Rear Shocks not once did they try to twist my arm to get the recommendations done (sometimes shops give you the doom and gloom) I did decide on the Control system cleaner. The only bad thing I need to say is it took forever to get the part in but that was not the fault of them. Snail Mail and other nothing to do with JT Auto My SUV has not ran that good in years, Took it on a Trip, no issues what so ever, when I came back I chose to do the shocks, they were right they needed to be replaced SUV runs great and rides great Thanks JT Auto for good mechanical service and customer service. Took my truck in for a presale inspection. It runs perfectly and Ive done most of the maintenance myself, so I know whats up. Was quoted over $3000 in repairs needed. Prices for each item seemed obscenely high for things like brakes which wed had done at the dealer previously.

I needed a good service garage for my car. I read some reviews and I choose JT auto because they had such great reviews. I have taken my cars here for a few years now, and even though I’m across town in Eugene, I will get my cars over to Springfield for service because I know I will get good work and honesty from them. They will drive you back home and pick you up if you have to leave your car there, and will go over in detail everything they found, and costs, before they start working, so you never get stuck with an unexpected bill. They always check for anything else that may be an issue and give a list of those recommendations and price breakdown for each to send you home with. Highly recommended these guys!

John and Ted are everything you want in a mechanic. They are the epitome of integrity! Several times we have brought our 2002 Grand Prix in and they have been straight forward about what is essential to fix or what we can do to get more life out of parts as we just want it to last us through grad school.There have been times when we’ve brought a car in to see if it’s okay and they’ve sent us with multiple options, or sent us with coolant or something without charging us to take a look. Another time they didn’t want to have to charge me for something as simple as a battery replacement so they recommended places they get their parts from and a video that would show me how to do it myself.Our other vehicle we had always taken to the dealer we purchased it from until moving to Eugene. After going to the dealer here twice and not being very satisfied, we found out about JT and won’t go anywhere else for our car maintenance on any car now! They are so kind and genuine they feel like friends now.I cannot recommend them enough!

Best service and honesty of any auto mechanic I’ve ever dealt with. Broke down in Coburg on the way back from Portland, so I googled best mechanics near me and with all the great reviews, chose JT’s and was highly impressed. Got my front brakes repaired with high quality parts and explained everything I “needed” without trying to sell me stuff I didn’t need. If you live anywhere close I can’t recommend them enough. Mechanics of their integrity are hard to find.

When my mother and I 1st moved to Springfield, we were told that this is the only place to go! They have taken care of my aunt and my cousins many vehicles for years and years. When I have come over here I have experienced superior customer service, Helpfulness, Friendliness and they know what theyre doing! I must say they will go far beyond Expected service, And have done that for me. I gave them 5 stars only because I cant give them 6.

Got my starter replaced here and they are a great local business! They were very friendly and listened to the issues I had. Took my car over on a Friday evening and they gave me a time frame through Monday for an answer with my issue. Got a call mid Monday that the issue was my starter and they’d be able to fix it that day. Got a second call before 530pm on Monday stating that my car was good to be picked up! Would recommend!

I went in to JT auto and asked them to replace an overdrive sensor and repair what was wrong with my evap system( my check engine light is on for the evap system) I get a call around the time they are closing and they told me that my transmission has failed and that they weren’t going to do the repairs on my vehicle that I asked them to. I drove my car there and picked it up and drove home I don’t plan on using them again due to the lack of customer service by the mechanics and the mid leading information the repairs I asked them to do were recommended for me to do by a different mechanic that is a family friend of mine he is just to far away to work on my car.

My overall experience was great! I had neglected getting my car fixed far too long and the repairs ended up being more than I was expecting but they were very helpful throughout the whole process and were very fair with the price.

We called in thinking it was one thing and said he’d check it out but said from sound of it that it sounded like it could be something else. Everyone else we called just blew us off and gave no input when we told them what our vehicle was doing. This shop took the time to listen. We thought we had a problem with the universal joint and come to find out it was the motor mounts. When we got our car back you could tell the difference in the way the vehicle handled. Will definitely be returning for any needs in the future.

I would absolutely never go back and would tell others thinking of going to never go there . I paid $500 to fix a problem and was going to have to pay another $400 for what they told me was wrong . I got my car back after the first visit a couple days later and I called to see if it was ready they did not call me . My car came back to me running worse then when I took it in and now it is not even starting . To pay that much money and your car to come back running worse makes no sense to me at all .

They were fast to address the problem and were quick to inform me of what they were doing! They found the simple repair for my fuel vapor system and let me know that my serpentine belt and pulley was creating a rattle. They fixed both issues in a single day! Super convenient and super professional! Thanks guys!!

Normal place Ive gone to said they were 2 weeks out, JT Auto said they wont turn anyone down and got me in the next day. What impressed me first was they had good reviews in general but any that were bad they actually care enough to respond and fix issues or complaints. That was enough for me to give them a go feeling they were reliable.

They worked on our older style work van. They quickly got to our repair, provided ongoing communication about our repair needs, and worked with us to find a reasonable price so we could get multiple issues fixed at one time. We will be back in the future and recommend JT auto repair!

Got some emergency on a road with my Grand Caravan. Call several Auto- repair shops in Springfield, but there were all too busy. JT Auto Repair took care of me the next minute, quickly ordered a necessary part, and I was in business an hour later. JT saved me the whole day. I assume JT looked for more than just replacing a hose as my van driving experience was much better than yesterday. Needless to say the bill was half from what Dodge dealer quoted me. I would definitely recommend JT to anyone.

Yes! Just Yes! 👏 My daughter bought a lemon. It had passed around several ‘mechanic’ friends and had even had an axle replaced- still it wasn’t drivable. We had almost given up, but I decided to throw a hail-Mary and try the pros first. Reading the reviews for JT’s I was hopeful. Their reviews are fantastic. Still- it was a gamble given the condition of the old car and the many unknowns surrounding the car’s history. Let me just say- I was completely blown away by the level of service we received from JT’s. Both customer service and mechanical expertise were outstanding. There were no questions left un-answered, and cooperation was fostered between the whole shop and us- and the work was completed lightning quick! the only delay was for parts because they were determined to get us the best deal possible. My daughter is back on the road in a car that drives like new now- my daughter is ecstatic- so am I. My husband and I have used their shop for many years now and will not go anywhere else. Not too many visits though because the work they do lasts! My experience over all was good, I feel like they took care of my car and the rides and shuttle back and forth from my home was really helpful. I feel like they were honest about what my car needed as well. The only thing I would change is to of had a bit more heads up about how much money I was looking at. It was sort of jarring when I got the bill and I had asked a few times periodically when I called to catch up on the status of my car about how much it would all come to, they seemed to keep putting that off and so I didnt really know beyond the initial inspection cost until the tail end of things. Its just helpful to know ASAP. However upon my own googling and research it did seem to match up closely with an average of what I had done so I believe it was honest work I just would advise maybe trying to prepare clients a bit more for what to expect in that arena a bit earlier in the game.

The reason I use JT Auto Repair is because they are organized, friendly, professional, and have integrity. I just had work done on my car and they could have easily charged me for unnecessary parts and labor but made it work so I didn’t have to spend the extra money. This quality seems pretty rare in auto repair shops these days.

I just went and received repairs for my first time from this shop, after a recommendation from a friend. They were better than expected. I still need more repairs done, as I couldnt quite afford the full repairs, but they worked with me and my budget to make it drivable, and were very kind and courteous. They have impeccable customer service and are affordable. I will be going back for all of my repairs.

In July, 19, my Ford Triton V8 blew a spark-plug 125 miles from home. After being towed to a nearby repair shop, they sqeezed me in to their schedule and got it repaired in 4 days with a $950 charge.A short while back, same engine blew out a different plug. Back home and with no urgency...I took it to the friendly folks at JT. With no special squeeze-in favors for out-of-towner treatment...they had the truck fixed in 2 days with a $260 invoice.Is it any wonder that they get so many 5-Star reviews?

I wish I could write this review as an actual customer, but I never got that far with JTs. I called for a quote over the phone and was told they dont do price shopping. Ted said hed want a technician to look at the vehicle first, which I agreed was fair enough, and is their right as a business. Then he told me to have a good day and hung up. Why wasnt I wasnt invited to bring my vehicle over, or treated as if I was a valued potential customer?
