This is the cutest shop! The vintage lighting selection is particularly impressive to me. The candy selection is so cute and I enjoyed stocking up for my all favorite kiddos for Halloween. In addition to candy, I’ve purchased several vintage pieces. They really have an eclectic selection and it’s a fun vintage shop! You can tell the owners have poured their heart and soul into this business - I highly recommend it.

Me and my wife were visiting Spokane from Seattle and fell in love with Spokane. We were checking out the Sprague Union District and there are some nice vintage and Antique stores. But one stood out to us the Rusty Mug. The floor plan the set up the lights the merchandise. We love Antique and vintage gems! The owners were very helpful and so nice to us.We were very happy with our purchases. We like to visit Spokane again hopefully soon and when we do we plan to stop by the Rusty Mug for a fresh hot cup of coffee.Thank you Rusty Mug for making us feel so welcome in your Beautiful City!!!!

What a enchanting store. Love the candy shop as you walk in the front door. I am always greeted by nicest folks and they are so helpful when I have questions like “ what the heck is this thing?!?” That tells you right there the fun and interesting items they have. Something new every time I stop in.

On the Fourth of July we went into the store and may I ad it was the only store that was open in that area. It was very nice and well put together. I meet a couple of people that also had a good eye for collectibles and antiques I enjoyed my time with the people who came in as customers as well as the People who worked there we had candy that took us back in time when we were children. I recommend the store it is a nice and wonderful if you’re looking for that special collectible it could more than likely be in this store. Resting mug don’t worry about review that is negative have to says about your Store you’ve done a wonderful job and you should be very proud of what you’ve done !!

My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised with walking into this darling, quaint vintage shop, The Rusty Mug! To our amazement we found a traditional outdoor light-up, Holy family blow mold set that we have been looking online for, for years. Check this treasure trove out!

Go see Lindsey, Brian and Michelle vintage and rustic needs. Theyve been open for just under a month and its a great place to shop. They are set up for coffee and icecream but they are just waiting for food permits to go through before they can serve anything. I stop by there everyday and I havent had any problems with finding prices or any problems with the people that run it.

Smells bad, floors are gross, few things are priced so you have to ask how much things are, its crowded and claustrophobic. They say they are a coffee shop, but theres no coffee or food (not that Id eat there anyway) but they say itll be up and running soon. Honestly, not someplace Id recommend, if only for the cleanliness factor, but luckily there are lots more places to shop in the area.

No coffee-owner says they are waiting on permits. Strange odor hits you when you walk in the door, everything is crowded, a lot of things are redundant and they dont really seem to know much about vintage things. Disappointing and the male owner needs to learn to keep a step back when asked a question. Just because I wanted to know something doesnt mean I wanted him all up in my face. The lady seems nice, tho.

I dont know why the reviewing section of this page took so long to appear, but Im glad it finally did as more people see the reviews here than on Facebook.I left an honest review on Facebook and someone - I assume a friend of the owners - felt the need to leave a comment on my review, contradicting what I said. The owner then got on and continued where her friend left off. Here is my review: There was no coffee, seems disorganised, nothing was priced, nothing really vintage or collectible, and it smells odd. This is what the owner said:G.J. Knox I’m very sorry to hear you had a negative experience! Yes, we made an announcement prior to opening, that coffee will not be up and running for another month or so. I’m sure you can understand starting up a retail store, candy store, and coffee shop, takes an immense amount of time. We preferred to put all of our energy into making one aspect great and now we are trying to do the same with the others. Again we have only been open for 4 days, so yes as of the weekend, many things were not priced but we have been working hard on it! I’m not sure where you are buying the candy as it is special ordered and not from Spokane but that is fantastic if you have found another location! It is truly delicious and seems to be a huge hit! Im not sure about the smell? I have not heard that from anyone, but as soon as coffee is being made you can bet whatever you smelt will be replaced with the delicious smells of espresso:) Again we are very sad to hear you did not enjoy yourself and if there is anything we can do to make it a more positive experience, we would be happy to do so! Hope to see you again soon. This was the first of several responses she felt the need to leave on my review. To be clear, a review is left so one can evaluate what may, or may not, need to be changed about something. It is a persons opinion based on personal experience of what they have experienced in a given situation. I was the manager at a mid-sized store for several years and the excuses made by the owner are nonsense. One does not concentrate on only one feature of a store before opening. It is all important and it is all valid, or one does not succeed in a business, period. Not having coffee, especially when that is the first thing they claim their store to be on their Facebook page - poor planning.Diverting customers attention so that a great deal of their focus is placed on a special order candy that can be found anywhere - ridiculous. The store being unclean with a bad smell - unforgivable.Confronting/attacking someone who has left an honest review in hopes it might assist in the realisation that something is wrong - a very bad idea.I dont normally leave reviews like this. I always try to find something good to say because there is usually good outweighing the bad. Sadly, that is not the case in this situation. Had the owner, and her friend, been respectful, I would have let it go. Possible have gone back to give it a second chance. I now have no desire to do so and urge others to find a more pleasant store to spend their time and money.
