Purposely had sister drop me off to see if they would treat me less if Iwalked in. Salesman on lot was disinterested and told me I would need a down payment of almost $2000 to purchase a 2013 Honda CRV with over 100, 000 miles on it priced at almost 17k. I asked to test drive it and he told me I would need to fill out a credit app first. Was rude and could care less about helping me. If you want to truly gage a good dealership. Go in on foot instead of letting them see you drive in. This is a dumpy dealership on Prater. Why do they call it 199down.com? Should be reported to the BBB for false advertising. Why go to a place like this if they cant honor their $199 down signs plastered all over the internet and cars? Save your money and get a car at a dealership where they will help you.

I carfaxed the truck first to make sure it didnt have any problems. Its great having a vehicle that you dont have to worry about it breaking down every time you drive it. I purchased a 1999 Tahoe on 11-4-2020 and this is my experience.I was in contact with John in sales about this vehicle and I had to travel from Michigan to purchase it.The only positive experience was that he picked us up at the airport and took us to the dealer.He did not give me the honest information about this vehicle.First he stated that he (thought) it was an LT model .. it wasn`t it was an LS.I asked him to look under it an look for oil leaks he said he did and he could not see any ....but the oil pan had oil all over the bottom of it. He said the A/C worked ..IT didn`t.The Windshield had a giant $199 down sticker on it and after the deal was completed they removed the sticker to reveal a foot long crack in the windshield.They said the vehicle would make it back to Michigan NO problem, after all it was the managers fishing vehicle???On the way home -in the evening- just before dark we found out the headlamps high and low beams were not working at all: we had to find a hotel and a repair facility for the next day, in the morning I started the engine only to find it spraying out antifreeze from the water pump also the alternator was very noisy ...THANK GOD for an honest repair facility to fix the issues... about $500 later we were back on the road but we could not go above 60mph due to a bad tire on the right rear and the headlamps had to be jumped with a jumper wire because the multifunction switch was burned out and needed replacement.Oh yea and the wheels had 4 wrong sized lug nuts on them so there would have been no way to change a tire if it blew out on the way home.I was also told that the Title would be sent to me in approximately 2 weeks; 5 weeks went by and no title; I called and found out they did not send it yet. Office person said they would overnight it today.Side note ; John said if I had a problem like the alternator went out on the way home there would be help for us (and there just happened to be an alternator that for the truck on the counter top by the office)hummm.All I have to say is if I don`t get the title I will get an attorney. and OH yeah LYING is FRAUD!

My mom brought a 2008 acura suv and they didnt even tell her the computer was faulty. Dont trust this dealership. Read the fine print and dont listen to the salesman it go here.

Whatever you do dont shop here.. i bought a lexus ,i was told any issues they would fix in the first month .i took the lexus 5 times never got it fixed ..when my month was over they refuse to help me ..the truck had the same issue ..made me spend money and time .. talk about a ri off ..if your gonna sell a car at a dealership make sure you stand by your Word..they did me so dirty ..whatever you do dont shop here ..

Tony was very nice to deal with and seemed to want to work with customers to the best of his ability. The process was relatively fast and efficient. Only drawback was the stale cigarette smell inside and hoped the paint job on the car wouldve been thrown into the offer. Overall, not too bad.

I had got a couple references to come here. And they were right. The whole team helped me and made it to where it would fit in my financial state. I got a beautiful vehicle with low miles and it drove nice and now im driving off the lot. Thank you all so much.

So went to buy a car from them and very nice they even ran credit and gave me a contract to sign at 10% interest rate they made up and I put deposit down on car. After signing the loan agreement, after 24 days they call me up and said i found you a bank come down and we need to do a new contract. Went down there and the new contract was 21% interest rate more then DOUBLE. Of course I didnt sign it and I gave the car back. This is called BAIT and SWITCH. They give you a good loan they expect you to sell your old car with in the couple weeks you have it, and you have no choice to sign papers because you need a car. Didnt fall for it and didnt sell old car. First of all after 20 days after a contract that contract is binding for a car. for me it was 24 days i could of took them to court on this because they didnt full fill there contract and it was after 20 days. You can find this in the NRS and at the DMV website. DMV say any used car. needs a drive train inspection report on used vehicles which have an odometer reading of 75,000 miles to shown to buy. Of course I never got that for the car i was going to buy from them. I could of fight these people and won my contract but didnt want to waste time or money to get a lawyer for a used car.So you can look this info up on the DMV website, I wouldnt tell anyone to go there and if you do get ready to sign a second contract at a huge jump, you are not obligated to sign a second contract if you dont think its fair. Be Careful at DIAMOND MOTOR for the BAIT and SWITCH they pull. they seem honest but think again. If they were honest people they would of HONOR the contract THEY wrote up for me.

Went and looked at the cars here, we were looking for something for my mom. The cars are not in very good condition, most have high miles and are WAY above blue book. The salesman was nice though and if you have bad credit or something it might be helpful to you. But wasnt for us.

I would never buy a car here again. We bought a Dodge Durango and when you fully turn the car shuts down and the radiator was cracked. So we took it back to the dealer they said they were upset they said they were going to sue us and put us in jail and they werent going to give me $800 down back. So I dont recommend this place to anyone. This was the said by the owner.

I purchased a 2003 van a little over a six months ago from salesperson Tony. Had an issue with the brakes not only one month after purchase and had put only 300 miles on the van at the time. I called the store and had it towed in from Fernley they looked at the brakes and fixed them with no questions. Although I saved money the problem should not had happened if the vehicle was properly inspected. Then after month two a hose started leaking, again if the inspection was done the hose would have been notice cause it was obviously in bad shape. Four months after purchase the water pump went out, had it towed yet again. $400 repair there. A month later the fuel pump went out and the starter was bad as well. The cosigner on the loan and the passenger in the vehicle is oxygen dependant and was stuck on the side of the road on 2 of the occasions. The van constantly overheated and I could only travel about 5 miles before the coolant started to boil. I am sure that the issues with the vehicle would had been obvious to any real mechanic, the issues were overlooked, or were they? and was put on the lot for sale anyhow. Putting myself and my passenger at risk. Not to mention $199 down (OAC), turned into $1600 down. If anyone has their definition of approved credit then that person would not be standing on their lot. They would be at a reputable dealership. I take the blame for the purchase of the van and i regret it badly. I read the reviews and didnt think it would happen to me. Well, it did. If anyone is doubtful about purchasing a vehicle from Diamond Motors, all I can say is go with your gut and save money to get a reliable car from somewhere else. This place is borderline criminal. I just had to give credit where credit is due. The 1999 Isuzu Rodeo 6 cyl. LX, one of the greatest SUVs ever built, (later became the Honda Passport, cuz Honda didnt know how to build SUVs, that I bought from Jeff and Rick is still running perfectly after 5 years. Ive only had to change the alternator once. Otherwise smooth sailing. And I got a great price too!!!!

They lied to us. They said that they could finance anybody. Already promised us the deal. Made us jump through a bunch of hoops including buying infull coverage insurance on this vehicle. When we went down to finalize the deal they said that they couldnt get us financing AFTER investing money.A few weeks later one of their employees saw me driving down Prater. He jumped in a black Jeep Cherokee and persued us. When he caught up with us he started yelling at my wife and saying why dont you go on over to Diamond Motors and say something to my face? Chased us some more until we pulled into a store.They are nothing but low life SCUM when they send their croanies to try and threaten me when Im with my family.This took place back in July of 1997. I never forgot. I will never buy a vehicle from there. I will never allow anyone I associate with to buy a car from there. I know Ive costed them thousands over the years and I hope to cost them MORE.
