1992 F 350 4x4 7.3 idi zf 5; I was in a tight spot time wise, these folks got my drive line squared away pronto for an amazing price, then when I picked it up I ambushed them with a zf 5 and transfer case, they got that done pronto for great price as well. Professional, expedient and fair.

Extremely satisfied. Front and rear driveshafts fit perfectly, less than 24 hours from the time I ordered them to the time I picked them up, No vibrations whatsoever.

Big ups Drive Line & G!!! I was just starting some extensive road tripping when I had issues outside Reno. The U-joints on my drive shaft were bad and needed to be replaced. Every garage I called were booked solid for atleast 1 week. I was about to attempt to do it myself, potentially making a mess out of it when a garage recommended I stop by DriveLine. Guy knew I was on the road, said he was gonna have a small window of time to fit me in, and knocked it out. They were kind and didnt charge me an arm or a leg. Give thanks!!!

Mistakes happen sometimes, its how you handle them that matters. Got an extensive amount of work done to my driveshafts and front end. They made a really small, understandable mistake on some of the front end work. When I noticed it a few days later, they had me bring in in right away. They owned the mistake, didnt make any excuses and had me fixed up ASAP - since they had to keep my truck overnight, the owner lent me his personal truck for the evening so my schedule wasnt affected.You will never find a shop that doesnt make the occasional mistake - we all do. The reason these guys have been in business for 30 years was how they dealt with me after they had some issues.My 24 year old truck runs and steers like new, smooth, no vibrations. Awesome service, awesome interaction. Dont waste time other places, go to the pros, Ill be going here for all my driveline work from now on.Thank you!

Ram 3500 re-gear. I thought these guys knew what they were doing until the front diff they re-geared destroyed itself the third time I engaged 4WD. I was a thousand miles from their shop, so I had it rebuilt by a another shop. Turns out Drive Line and Gear made a rookie mistake putting it together. And they insisted I buy a new carrier, which Mopar later told us was not needed. These guys made me buy unneeded parts and they assembled the differential incorrectly. I got stranded in the mountains and had to have the work done again. Id like to give them no stars, but have to give at least one to post this review.

These guys are professionals. They know what they are doing and they do it well. The place is always busy but they can crank out jobs quickly. (Which is probably why they are busy.) For drivetrain work, I dont go anywhere else.

While traveling through Reno we had the center carrier bearing on the drive shaft go out on our Ram 3500 dually. This is what tows our house. They were able to get us in and out in one day without an appointment. They were so nice to us and their fee was extremely reasonable. We were able to be on our way with only a one day delay. Highly recommend this shop.

Fast service and reasonable prices. These guys shortened a car driveshaft for me and had it ready for pickup in less than 3 hours! It appears their bread and butter are big trucks but they take care of little guy, too.

On vacation found out I had a u joint go bad and ruin my drive line. They not only got me back on the road the same day we were supposed to leave, but helped keep out with some storage when the air bnb wouldnt let us stay an extra hour.Good people, good work, honest price. Drive line and Gear Service is a bad place to do business if you are just a vehicle owner. The guys behind the counter that seem to be in charge are rude and disrespectful. They are quick to get nasty and let you know you can get lost. They over charge and produce bad quality work and service. I had them build a drive line and had to return it for a rebalance. It actually was not built right and the spline slack was to short. I had to buy a Tom Woods drive line and the one these guys built is sitting in my garage. Im out over $500 and had nothing but time and trouble dealing with them.

This place has always been great. Just got a new driveline from them for a truck that was down. They had it in stock!

My husband just recently picked up the rear end that was rebuilt. They were really the only option. The service couldve been a little quicker, but overall very happy to have the parts back.

Had my 74 Bronco totally restored by another company and then I had some problems with the transfer case, brakes and drive line. Tom and his crew were amazingly professional, keeping my vehicle inside at night and weekends, and fixed the problems. Kudoos to everyone there and I will take any vehicle that I own to them. I took my Xterra in to take care of a rear drive line vibration that, come to find out, is common on Xterras that are lifted and they built me a new drive in a day!! It completely cured vibration! Thanks for a job well done!!

Did a amazing good on y avalanche and even replaced the trac bar for me and when I call and they don’t do it the have referred me to shops that have been just as good of service they are if I don’t do I call them if they don’t do it they always send me to the right shop.dont know why it was a one Star from me sorry I fixed you service was over the top

Never been here before brought my 2008 Ford F250 to him with a driveshaft vibration issue already replace the carrier bearing still have an issue these guys set me up with a straight one piece driveshaft vibrations will be gone be able to tow my toy hauler very friendly very helpful these guys go out of their way to make sure youre taken care of on the same day if not the next day very professional very courteous very impressed highly recommend these guys to anybody with any kind of driveline or gearing issues.

Had them replace the gears front/rear and weld Artec equipment on the rear axle. They welded the lower brackets on wrong causing me to have to change quite a few things including remove the muffler to get things to not hit. They welded the track bar bracket on in the wrong place because the lower brackets were put in the wrong place as well and cut and sleeved the track bar to account for the bracket being in the wrong place. They did all of that without calling me to look at any of it. Then, 1000 miles later, my front axle seal is leaking, so I took it to Jeep since my Jeep is under warranty. Jeep said the axle seal was damaged when the shafts were put back in, and that it is missing a slinger spring and the pre-load is too tight. I called Drive line and gear and they basically wouldnt help because I had taken the Jeep to the dealer. Fortunately for me, Jeep said that they would cover the work under warranty because the seals that were in their were the factory seals. They didnt know if they had been replaced during the gear change or not, but since they were factory, they covered the work for me. Happy with Lithia Jeep Reno, not happy at all with Drive Line and Gear.
