I like the balance of quality and price. The size of the store is also nice compared to the big box hardware stores.

They had a huge selection of tools, the prices of everything is the lowest that I have found literally anywhere. Workers were very welcoming, and weren’t hesitant at all about helping me find something that I needed.

The help there is very good when you ask him a question they know what youre talkin about and they take you right to the product and then I help you get it all set up and ready for the cash register I enjoy that place very helpful thank you

After several attempts to get one of the 1000 LBS motorcycle lifts I finally got mine. Tina the store manager help me out a lot and got me in touch with Troy the Regional manager. Together they were able to get a few lifts sent to the store. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great selection of tools and equipment that youll find at the big box home improvement retailers, but so much more, automotive repair equipment, welders and welding equipment, wood working equipment such as lathes, sanders, bandsaws, and clamps. If you go to a harbor freight in Sioux falls, THIS is the one to go to IMO vs. the smaller location next to Home Depot.

They will waste your time by having you come in for an interview. Offer you hours to work you didnt even know existed. Offer you two dollars less than you wanted. After you accept the job and thinking you are doing them a big favor. They will email you and say sorry we found someone else we could pay even less to work the worst hours.

I went into harbor freight yesterday to get a few gifts for my boyfriend. One of the gifts I got for him was a 2 ton jack that I couldn’t carry out myself. Chad, one of the employees at harbor freight, hauled it to my vehicle for me. After he put the jack in, I went to go put my 2 other items into my backseat and my receipt flew out of my hand and he ran halfway across the parking lot to help me retrieve it. This means a lot to me as a customer because it shows that he has great customer service and went above and beyond for me. He was also super friendly and nice. All in all, absolutely wonderful customer service!

I absolutely love the store and bargains most of the staff are spot on. I would rate the store higher but its a little frustrating that the store has lots of blank spots. For example, the icon line, missing atleast 4 different socket sets and have been for over a month. 30 ton Bottle Jacks, hercules cut off saw, and bench grinder. These were just a few things that I tried to get on many occassions. I have managed to get somethings on my list this week but still no icon stuff.

Many of the tools are great at a nearly unbeatable price. I have and will continue to buy many tools here. Stay away from the hand tools (sockets, ratchets, box wrenches, etc.) as the quality lacks. Instead gravitate toward the power tools and more exotic tools. Air compressors, electric grinders, drills, etc. Are all of high quality and have comparisons so you can find the right one for your budget. Higher end or more exotic tools (English wheels, electric or pneumatic planishing hammers, sheet metal benders/brakes may not live up to a higher quality American made product but also reflect a good entry level tool. Start here to build your skills and try new things. Then if/when a high end tool breaks buy an American made product to replace it.

Think this is the spot for anyone looking for cheap tools. Lowest prices by far. Of course the quality is not the greatest, wouldnt suggest professionals who are buying for their trade to shop here. But normal, around the house maintenance type jobs definitely the place to go.

I visited for the first time on Black Friday and its an excellent place to buy specialty tools. The employees were a bit short with me but nevertheless they were helpful in showing me the products I needed. Everybody has bad days. I purchased about $50 of tools that looked like they were worth almost $150 when you started to look at the quality. I highly recommend it for amateur mechanics like myself as a place to get specialty tools for cheap. Another great deal they have is their tool boxes. You can save thousands just by going with a harbor freight brand instead of a Snap-On box. Great store and I will visit again.

Daughter needed an anvil, they had anvils. Employees were helpful in pointing out where other metalsmithing supplies were as well. Guy at checkout was pretty funny too.

Only 1 sales person on floor with tons of customers inside. The manager couldnt answer a simple question about a product and said nobody else here will be able to answer it either. Nothing like, let me find out for you. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!

Didnt have what I needed in stock

We bought a stick welder after watching You Tube videos on their welders. Gotta say im impressed. For the small amount of welding we do. This was not only a cost effective way to go. But honestly Ive welded with Lincoln stick welders that didnt perform this well. We bought the Titanium 225 inverter stick welder. I would highly recommend this welder to anyone, first time or experinced welder. Well worth the money.

Amazing place to find tools at a good price! The staff were friendly. They may have rearranged recently because when I asked the staff where a certain item was, I was told twice by two different staff that it was in a certain isle when it was really in a completely different isle on the other end of the store. Other than that little mix up, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ive been here a few times before, but this last visit was the best. I came for some rope to hang a swing and the service I received was great! They even walked to the other side of the store to help me find a small item I had been given a coupon for. I never got that kind of service before, but I look forward to more of it in the future.

Been using 12th street store seance they opened joined club thinking that I would get a free gift when I purchased something like I was told by employees when I joined. But they dont ask you what u would like and u have to ask them for the gift and then a couple have given me attitude and then they try renewing my club member ship. A month and A have early. Maybe they should worry about fulfilling contract too member before they try signing them up for another year.

Prices are cheap and a good way to see if you will like the tool. When it breaks, go buy some thing better or get another cheap one. Unless you use there stuff every day for your job, should last a long time. And yes, they do have some construction grade products also.

This store actually had some of the freebies that others run out of. Discounted tools for any job. Clerks were nice and the stocker walked me to a product I was looking for, instead of saying Meh, its down isle 3.

Say you want to upgrade your JD D110 riding lawnmower in your garage to run on nitrous on the weekends, or trying to convert your weedeater to a turbo diesel for kicks... then these do just fine. Just fine indeed.
