This is a very cool store with lots of hard to find kitchen items! Staff was extremely helpful! Loved it!!

This mixer originally had a glass bowl.... which my daughter broke. The staff at Maxwell food equipment were patient while I tried to explain I wanted a stainless steel replacement bowl instead of a glass bowl. After searching and double checking they had one on the shelf. It fits perfectly and my daughters are excited to start baking again.

Staff is very helpful and friendly.The products they sell are very affordable and the quality is amazing. You can buy cheap stuff every year from a box store or spend fifty cents more and get restaurant quality items that will last a lifetime.

I love this place because it has no see everything that you would need to start your own restaurant and I found a lot nice toys I like to have also.

My absolute favorite place to shop for kitchen gear! This place has all of the things I never knew I needed, their staff is always super friendly and helpful, and their prices are fantastic!

They always have the greatest cooking and restaurant supplies in the local area. Just be careful if you like to cook because you will go there for one thing and see a dozen others and end up buying all of them impulsively.Seriously though, they have everything pkus a friendly and helpful staff.They also have amazing popcorn! (hopefully it returns after Covid season.)

Not sure why there are no reviews on here. My wife has taken a few classes and loved them so much. Usually small class sizes and ability to ask lots of questions! Very personable and great class setting. The variety of classes offered is also a huge bonus. Check them out online and sign up reasonable prices for what you walk away with. Im sure youll enjoy it, I know based on how much my wife talked about it after!

Supplies & Equipment for Restaurants! Nice 👌 selection

My friend and her mom went to the cooking class, while the chef was nice and informative, the food was not very good. Maybe it was the one we chose to go to ir the recipes she chose but they were not very good. But their selection for cooking/baking things are good.

This place has it all! From home cooking for a few to running a full restaurant, this warehouse carries whatever your culinary heart desires. Its like a candy store for the cook, lots of gadgets and tools and machines to look at, all high-quality! Friendly staff too.

Maxwell is fairly good from my experience here. Ive bought mostly small kitchen tools and such and Maxwell is good in that area. They also have quite a selection of products that you normally wont find in a standard retail store (they can get pricey on some items, keep that in mind). Id be careful on buying anything expensive here though due to their relatively strict return policy.

I started shopping at Maxwells when it was located downtown Sioux Falls (about 25+ years ago). Since their move, theyve greatly expanded their inventory. That said, their products seemed more reasonably priced when they werent well known to the average consumer. Now that the secret has been out for many years, they seem to be hiking up the prices - some items are ridiculously expensive. Use caution, as their return policy is strict.Otherwise, this is a huge selection of kitchen, bar, hotel supplies.

Our favorite store in Sioux Falls, we asked them to have our Wedding Wish list (since we had relatives in their other two stores, Marshall, MN and Spencer, Iowa) and it went really well. They kept the stores in-sync even though the list was by hand.Great quality dishware, half racks, knifes, scrapers, and tools at an affordable price. Our kitchen is stocked thanks to their team. So friendly they got to know us and a smile was always on our face asking what were making tonight.

A place that has anything and everything cooking and restaurant supplies. I shop here for my personal use at home. Very large variety and choices, prices are decent. Buy one or in large bulk sizes. Also has restaurant equipment fryers, mixers, popcorn machines, coffee supplies, and much more. A must for everyone to wander at least once.

I enjoyed the selection that was available. It gives you a tactile feel of everything before you buy. I dont get to visit Sioux Falls very much and this will be on the list next time I am in town.

Youll love walking through this store, if you enjoy cooking and furnishing your house with practical and quality made cooking equipment! Ive been a customer of Maxwells since they were downtown. It used to be a secret little hole in the wall where you got bar equipment and industrial cooking equipment. You can still find those dodads and nicknacks for bar and restaurant furnishing at Maxwell, but the vast majority of their products now cater to the more contemporary cooking and kitchen enthusiast.They have a great selection of plates and bowls, most of them are made in the USA, oven safe and in a range of styles: Country Home, Tuscany, etc.Their staff are friendly and helpful and when you ask them a question they genuinely want to help you the best they can. If there was an area of improvement, the store isnt very clean and could use a makeover, but sometimes that is an attractive trait in a store too, you dont feel like you have to be of a certain status to shop there. My 4 star rating means I would highly recommend this store. I only give 5 star ratings to retail stores when something exceptional happens but I still consider myself a net promoter with 4 stars. Go check out Maxwell!
