I really do like it here and such happy vibes but the prices are outrageous, my friend and I payed 60$ for 2 bears and a bag with no acessories all you do is watch th bear get stuffed, so Im not sure why its so expensive, although its fun its something I would probably never do expect for special acasions.

I love Build a Bear! Almost two years ago we came here for my son. Now it was our daughters turn. Even with everything going on, they still made it a magical experience.

My daughter and I enjoy going here a few times a year. The staff is friendly and seem to be knowledgeable about their job. I dont mind spending money but sometimes the upselling can be a bit much. My daughter didnt want a sound last time and we practiced saying No sound this time, thank you! When we got up to the counter it seemed like we were not given an option and my daughter was trying to say what she practiced but was cut off. She kept looking at me and it looked like she might cry. Shes only 2 and was confused. I tried to say several times we werent doing that today but all questions were directed at my daughter. My daughter and I both felt uncomfortable after we stuffed the bear and I decided to pay without looking at clothes. Even while checking out, it seemed like we were looked down on for not spending more money. It kind of ruined our fun and didnt make us feel great. We havent been visiting as often because of this

Pretty good time. I stopped in while killing some time at the mall. Visited with the manager Brittany on Memorial Day. I ended up getting a bear and going through the whole process of getting a bear made and putting the wishing or blessing heart in the bear then doing the birth certificate with it. It was pretty cool. I could just about imagine what it would be like to do it as a kid.

My first visit to Build a Bear and I brought my daughter. It was a wonderful experience. I think what made it even more enjoyable was how your associate, Max, interacted with my daughter. I can tell she loves her job and takes customer service very seriously. Thank you to Max for making my first experience a wonderful one!

Fun experience for any child and for the kid in all of us. Staff is amazingly upbeat and always willing to help. The stitches had come out of my son bear and he hasnt been able to play with it for some time. Well a quick trip and some play surgery the bear and my son were back to playing.

Just had my daughters bday party there and Im very impressed. The host kept the kids engaged and excited and moved things along nicely. She also helped keep me in budget all through the party I had a nice relaxing time.

Everyone in the store was friendly and awesome. I was making a bear for my niece and they were glad to provide a second opinion. You could see that they really wanted to be at their job. I would definitely recommend this Build-a-Bear Workshop to others.

Went there with my daughter so she could make one for her daughter (my granddaughter) and they were great!

The staff named Brittany was so helpful. You could easily tell she loved her job. She was so cheerful and so easy to work with. She explained everything in detail. Put on the clothing and let us be apart of the whole experience.

Id give this 1 star but 2 stars because the girls at least enjoyed the stuff animals. I was ridiculously disappointed with this place. I couldnt believe what I was told over the phone versus the actuality when in the store. First off I was told it was a princess day so theyd be doing special stuff, there was nothing; secondly I was told the kids would have help and interactions..there was literally 2 kids in the store besides the 2 i had in a stroller and you had 1 lady just standing at the cashier, 1 sitting at the cotton and 1 stocking stuff..no one helped.. no one made it special..oh wait until i was almost done then she wanted to try and say i should spend $9 on this extra thing..maybe if theyd helped at all Id been more willing to spend more but no. I literally asked about having interactions and making it an EXPERIENCE..all i got was another store that sells stuff animals nothing special and the staff definitely didnt make the store seem special or great; quite the contrary to what I was told and expecting..maybe thats just the awful weekend staff?

Lots of fun. Expensive. I could have done without the agents upselling to my kids after I already told them I didnt want something that makes noise.

The staff is always super sweet and attentive to the children and families. It is always a great experience at Build-A-Bear in the empire mall.

I went in on my sons 8th birthday yesterday to get a Count Your Candles bear. First off, it was a CONSTANT upsell, and he was becoming uncomfortable having to constantly say no, because he didnt want it to make noise or have a smell (these were his choices - and the sales lady only directed these questions to him - never to me). My son was polite and said no and no thank you to the questions he was asked - he just wanted the bear. He didnt want to do the heart ceremony and the lady stuffing the bear didnt know how to take that (I had to step in and tell her that hed just like to put the heart in without doing the routine, and she was taken aback. Seriously, just let kids put the heart in without having to rub it all over his body if it makes them uncomfortable). When it came time to pay, there was even more upselling by the cashier - to which my son politely declined - he didnt want it to have a birthday hat or shirt, or have a special nylon bag to put it in (his choices). Then he declined the box because he just wanted to carry his bear. The kicker comes after I paid... we werent even out of the store and the cashier exclaimed loud enough so my 12-year-old son and myself heard her say, wow, that was a strange child. Really?! I didnt stick around to listen to whatever else they probably said about us. I am sorry that we were just buying a cheap bear and didnt want any extras today. He was using his own birthday money to purchase the bear because he knew it would be $8 for his birthday. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. My son loves his Build-a-Bears (he has a few more at home and some actually do have accessories and outfits), and we would have purchased more items for Christmas, but we wont step foot in this store again.

I like to visit every few months, the quality of the bears is always good and the selection always cycles through. They seem to have deals going rather frequently and the staff is very nice!
