Delicious food! The brined pork chop is fabulous. The egg roll appetizers, awesome. Bacon old fashioned and kiss from a rose were great. I highly recommend this restaurant. Dress is casual. Jenny our waitress was attentive and friendly. If you have an opportunity to dine there dont pass it up.

Excellence from start to finish. This was our one big splurge of the trip, and Im glad we chose this place for it. Our server was outstanding, and we really got a five-star experience. I got tortellini that was worth every penny. The burger our 5yo son had was deemed the best burger in the entire world. And he wasnt wrong.

Ive been meaning to try this place for over a year. Very impressed with the service and quality of food. Even though they were out of scallops, the salmon was a good second choice, the hash is good enough to take home for breakfast the next day. My group also had the seamanship, cooked to perfection and good flavor, and burgers which were worth it! Creme Brule was top 2 Ive ever had and light creamy cheesecake.

So this is the 1st restaurant I tried on the 1st day of being in SF & it set an amazing tone! Cody was so pleasant & friendly… superb service w/ a smile! This place is located right downtown and is overlooking the River w/ a great backdrop for sunset. I tried a local fav… chislic, which is basically deep fried steak bites.. google it! Very delish!

Very nice place to eat. One of those hidden gems that sits in plain site that I think everyone hears about but I dont know if everyone goes. I know it took us years to make our first visit because we would always pick somewhere else instead and now we will certainly go back.

I made this table for them when they opened. It has held up well, and their food is a perfect match. The champagne sorbet palate cleanser is awesome. Try the steak. Well cooked to the right temp.

Just ordered x2 “California cowboy salads”. Salad claims to have romaine, spinach and kale - chef forgot the kale and there were only a couple pieces of spinach.. basically a spring mix.. also forgot the bacon crumbles. It’s not a complicated salad but somehow they can’t even manage that. $2 worth of romaine, three slices of avocado, a chicken breast and a pinch of cheese for $20. You do the math.

I have been here many times, the food and service is always excellent. I love their lamb burgers, and that they have pasture raised high quality meat here which can be hard to find in Sioux Falls. This is my favorite restaurant in Sioux Falls.

Yum! Everything here was amazing! My sister had the ceased salad, and I had the tuna sandwich. The tuna was perfectly cooked and the sandwich was so delicious! Id order the same exact thing next time!

I had a great dinner. I got 2 vodkas and club sodas $6.50 each. My dinner was seared ahi but I just like it cooked all the way so I asked them to cook it all the way. It comes on an egg bun. And I had roasted sweet potatoes. Theres alot of seasoning on the sweet potatoes. My meal was amazing. At the end the bartender gave me a free little glass with a homemade sorbet and a little champagne in it. It tasted too good to be alcohol! The restaurant overlooks the river but I only had room at the bar. Really nice restaurant. Id recommend it.

We ordered takeout and were very happy with our meal. The restaurant has a nice interior and a large patio overlooking the river. Unfortunately it was chilly and windy, so we took ours to go. Menu has great options and they also have a keto menu.

Im not going to say it was the best burger Ive ever had. But it was really really good. Probably a top 5, because at that point it really comes down to whats an individual likes best on the burger. Great service and it was cooked to perfection.

This place is exactly what I like! So... we ate at the bar. First, the staff... Jeremy and Garrison worked as a team, professional, courteous and personable. They were busy and yet found the time and energy to be kind. Second, the live music. I love that it was in the background. Not intrusive, just lovely! The guy was good! Getting down to it, food and drinks... we ordered off the app and sides menu. We ordered the gluten free Chislic. The beef quality was great, tender... so good. The dipping sauces... I loved the avocado aoli best. We ordered the half n half bruschetta... yum! Also, the Thai chicken lettuce cups. So good! Everything was thoughtfully conceived and oh so tasty. Well done! Drinks! Try their Bacon Old Fashioned... very tasty. We watched the bartenders prepare many specialty drinks and I am gonna try some next visit! Well be in town a couple more days and were working our schedule so we can come back and order off the entre menu, cause it has lots of promise!

Enjoyed the environment and service, but the food was mediocre for the price. Tuna starter was saturated with the sauce so the tuna didnt shine. The 3 duck dish was lacking flavor and a portion of duck. Ribeye wasnt bad.

The place is great. I stopped by and have lunch at the bar. They had a good selection of drinks, foods, and desserts. It is right on the river and the have a patio were you can sit outside. I would call ahead and make a reservation if at all possible to ensure you have a table.

This restaraunt lives up to its name. Every facet of my experience here was a loving tribute to food and the dining experience. The lighting, the music, the service, the food - THE FOOD... For an appetizer I chose the hawaian pork egg rolls. The pork had a smoky flavor I loved. Then my server, Ben, brought out cherry sorbet and that was a lovely unexpected suprise, something I would probably only get if I was a friend of the family in a lesser establishment. I also had the lamb burger which was full of sophisticated flavors and textures. It was so juicy! this place is a true dining gem. It was all thoughtfully crafted and passionately executed. Everyone was friendly and happy to be here and Im in love.Cant wait to come back.

The foods okay. For a place highlighting the chef and at this price point, I honestly expected more quality. The view is great.I dont see any way to reply to the owners question other than to edit the original review, so the following was added after seeing their question and reading some of the other reviews.I dont know what happened that night, but based on the other reviews it must not be typical. Actually, something must have been very wrong that day. We waited a very long time for bruschettas after being told the cracklins were not available, had an apple pie-tini with no evidence of any nutmeg, the ribeye was on top of a risotto gone pasty, and the broccoli was mostly stem, to the point that my wife at first thought it was the asparagus she had wanted replaced with broccoli. While I might be prone to think the chef was absent that night, that wouldnt explain the relatively basic selections of the menu. The drinks were creatively named, so that was fun. And duck is not on most local menus, but the rest is easily found around town.I can only base my review on our experience and was disappointed. I hope for the sake of our little economy that it was a fluke.

Had the lamb burger, which was a bit dry (which is to be expected with lamb), but still good. Additionally, the asparagus was woody, but thats to be expected for wintertime veggies.Bartenders were great, along with the selection of drinks. Live jazz the night we were there. 🎶

What a great find! Sat at the bar and had live musician playing directly behind me but it was not to loud to be able to hold a conversation. The food was excellent. I had their signature appetizer, Chislic, and it was fabulous.

Visited Ode with a group of 14. Reservation was a must. Drinks were fair priced. Entrées were high priced and had small portions. Burgers with a side was standard to above standard portion size. The quality of food was great. Everyone had good things to say about their meal other than the portion size. All the guys in our group were still hungry when we left. There was soft live music that was playing which was really cool! The restaurant is in a nice part of town near the river.

Coming from a culinary background I have absolutely nothing negative to say about ODE, the food is excellent and all the flavors complement each other perfectly. You can tell that a lot of thought and work has gone into every dish, and every bite. No flavor overpowered the other, tonight I went with the max burger and I couldnt be happier. I also had a few bites of the drunkin tortellini and was very impressed, I think no matter what you order youll be very happy.

Amazing drinks and food worth the hour trip.

I give out very few 5 stars but Ode to Food and Drink definitely deserves it. Starting of with well made cocktail (Tito vodka water and lemon, which is easier to mess up than you think), moving onto a mango sorbet to cleanse the pallet. I ordered the Blackened Tuna Sandwich which was perfectly prepared to a medium rare. The fries which to me is the benchmark for a great restaurant were spot on and pre-seasoned, (such a treat to get fries like this.)All in all this restaurant is truly a gem of Sioux Falls and if you havent been here you truly need to take in this wonderful food and drink.

Great service. Good food. Only (nitpickey) suggestion would be to ensure servers are able to talk about your beer selection without having to go to the bar after every question. The menu isnt descriptive about some styles so the server should be able to recommend based on this. Again...nitpickey. Honestly, love the atmosphere and food. Wonderful service.

Lovely restaurant downtown. We arrived just after six and were able to sit immediately at a high top in the bar area. We were greeted promptly and the host brought waters right away. Our server was the bartender who had lots of people at the bar in addition to us but managed to make us feel like we were one of her only parties and was always attentive and prompt with refills. Our party ordered a side of sweet potato chips to munch on while we waited for our food and they were absolutely delightful and large enough to share. For dinner we had the scallops, max burger, and the pork chop. There is not a single thing to say against the food - to say each of our dishes was perfect does not do it justice. For dessert we ordered the toffee creme brulee and the banana habanero ice cream. The creme brulee was excellent and the ice cream was delicious, although it ended up being a little too hot for me but I am pretty pathetic when it comes to heat and the rest of the table was fine. We will absolutely be returning for some of the best food in town!

Beautiful bar right on the Big Sioux River next to the Arc of Dreams. This location is all that a downtown experience is made of, even with the occasional live music!

Ode has stepped up their game to serve trendy gourmet meals that should appeal to the foodies! Prices are a little high but this is a special place with top notch service. I went with medium sirloin, mashed red potatoes, and asparagus. Perfecto. The ribeye with lemon shrimp risotto is pictured. ($36). It was overcooked so they prepared a new one, serving a comp salad to occupy his time while I ate then served comp orange dream creme brulee for dessert. Sugar was torched perfectly at the table!

What a disappointment. We went out for a couples dinner and the only thing we enjoyed was the palette cleanser. Started out with two drinks and we thought maybe if we traded wed like the other drink. The smasharita was rubbing alcohol and the Mojito was plain bad. I had soup which was basically cream of something with an assload of pepper. Her tortellini was fine and everything about my tenderloin was bad except it was super tender and cooked to my request. I couldnt even finish the mashed potatoes. As a matter of fact the only thing I finished was the four pieces of asparagus. After I paid the $100 tab the only good thing I can say is the wait staff is super.

People come here for a great atmosphere and ample meal. As far as the meal goes, all overpriced for the quality. The Risotto Balls, of course, are yesterdays leftovers. (restaurant secret, no one makes risotto just to deep fry it!) So....yesterdays Rissotto was better than todays. Do Not get tomorrows Rissotto because, some sort of Roasted tomato, with too much pepper and Balsamico! Ribeye....cooked perfectly (tho grass fed tastes better), but UNDER seasoned. I think they rely on the over flavored risotto to compensate, as the steak is served on top of the bed of pan fried Rissotto (yep). Okay Whiskey selection, top shelf yet not a good variety....(sorry, no food pics)

Even with a reservation, it took some time before we were seated which is fine. However, we thought we were getting a table and got shoved into a booth. Waitress had alot going on, so we ordered drinks and left.

My husband and I ate there for the first time tonight and it was so lovely! The tables were social distanced and the servers wore masks. The sea bass that I had was impecable - cooked perfectly with an amazing miso sauce. My husband had the shrimp tortellini which was also cooked perfectly but a little rich for his liking. We had the chocolate cake and creme brulee for dessert and it was also worth returning for. Our server was awesome. Didnt catch her name but I bet she refilled my water half a dozen times by the time the dinner was through! Very attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

You can’t go wrong here whether celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a simple dinner out! From traditional steak/burgers to some of the best seafood dishes in town - and they have a number of gluten free and Keto options! And last but not least - the staff are too notch!!

This might be the best restaurant in Sioux Falls. We’ve been here a couple times, but tonight my ribeye was outstanding!! I always love the chef’s risotto, too. The atmosphere and service is always top notch. This place makes a great date night, but I also love them for lunch!
