Ellie Stone has the most unique, curated selection of bridal dresses at accessible prices. I was able to find my dress after trying on just 2 fantastic options vs. 20 so-so options at bigger bridal shops. Each step of the process was simple and stress free. I am giving one star because when i arrived they reinstated my mysteriously canceled appointment. From that moment on things took a turn for the worse. My bridal party and i were informed that we had to go to the back of racks, closest to the wall, in order to find the large women dresses. Upon looking hardly any of the samples were over a size 20, which was crazy since online they listed sizes up to 30. At one point in attempting to try on the dresses my consultant wanted me to put the hanger over my head and walk out in just my panties because there was no one else there anyways. The whole time i was attempting to try on dresses the rest of the staff was rudely commenting on my size to the point that the rest of my bridal party could hear the comments.

I couldnt have found my dream dress without Ellie Stone!I live in Minneapolis and came to Ellie Stone to look at dresses just to give my mom and future mother-in-law a chance to see me in a few since they both live close to Sioux Falls. This was just going to be a sort of trial appointment.When I started my appointment, I felt like almost anything in the store could be an option for me. But, Leah was the perfect consultant to help me quickly narrow down my options to find THE dress. The dress that I found and couldnt get out of my head was 95% perfect, but I had a different vision for the straps. Leah recommended making changes in alterations and told me all about their fantastic seamstress with decades of experience. I felt so much that I could trust her recommendation that I said yes! to what would become my dream dress.Lynn came to my rescue and created beautifully appliquéd straps (from scratch) to replace the beaded spaghetti straps and bring my vision to life. It turned out more amazing than I imagined! The extra trips back to Sioux Falls from Minneapolis for fittings was worth it all, and I wouldnt do anything differently.Thank you so much Ellie Stone for the perfect bridal experience!

We came for bridesmaid dresses. The lady working showed us their selection (which was very small) and explained the ordering process and colors. She walked away and we were left to look on our own. I had to help all of my bridesmaids in and out of their dresses and had no help from the lady working at all. She received a delivery and said “I’m going to be outside taking care of this delivery. You guys don’t need me anyways but if something comes up I’m over here.” and left lol. The only thing she did was put the dresses back on the dress rack. She did take measurements at the end of the 3 girls and we were able to decide on a dress. We will be ordering it from somewhere else because I want my service to go to someone that values it. If you’re wanting any staff assistance or to feel welcome, this is not the place for you.

I had a wonderful experience here! Sam was personable, attentive, helpful, and great at her job without being pushy or overly involved. When I found the perfect dress they let me stay in it as long as I wanted while trying out difference veils and accessories. The two hour appointment insured that we werent rushed and allowed me to try on anything I wanted.

We were so excited to go look at wedding gowns. Walked in we were never even acknowledged by a single employee. We looked around at the dresses passing by every employee that we could and still no one noticed us. If you want to be in the industry of weddings customer service classes. The sign says come in were awesome that caused you to loose a sale. Very dissapointed on what was an exciting day.

Ellie Stone did such a phenomenal job helping me find a dress I loved, fit my venue, and I feel amazing in! The staff was so professional and made me feel like family all at once. I wasnt quite sure if I knew what I wanted, but the they did an amazing job helping me figure it out! It was exactly what I hoped my wedding dress shopping experience would be!

My dress came in and I tried it on!! So perfect! I cant say enough good things about this place, the staff, the service, the quality... the best.

I had the best day at Ellie Stone shopping for my wedding dress. They made it fun and stress free! They were knowledgeable about the dresses, but above all, cared about how I felt in the dress. It will go down as one of the best days...until the wedding day of course :)

Nicely decorated, with many dress choices. I was there to support another bride, but she was well attended and happy. Found a dress she liked rather quickly and ordered it without issues!

I bought my wedding dress at Ellie Stone in February. I was really impressed by the variety of dresses they had and the styles were very up to date. Shopping there was a breeze and fun! The gal who helped me did an awesome job and I love my dress! The only reason I gave 4 stars was due to my fitting/alterations appointment being very disappointing including staff not being upfront regarding charges for the fitting appt alone of over $100. My alterations were going to total nearly $800 so I ended up declining to pay the unexpected fee for the hour fitting that day and took my dress elsewhere. I went to an independent seamstress who did an amazing job with quick turnaround and a cost of $200 total, including the fitting appt and steaming. I can understand the bridal shop having a little bit higher pricing for alterations but felt this was unreasonable. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of transparency. I know they are a new store so hopefully this will improve in time. That being said I’d say dont hesitate to shop but just be careful with alterations, especially if you’ve got a budget to try and stick to! ;)

I was completely disappointed in this bridal salon and it ruined my wedding dress shopping experience. I made an appointment quite a few weeks in advance, and had even received multiple emails to confirm my appointment, but when I walked in they acted like they had no idea why I was there. They made me and my party feel unwelcome and out of place. Told my consultant what I had in mind and she very bluntly said they wouldnt have anything like that. We decided to look around anyways, but there was a very small selection of dresses. Decided to try on 2 dresses, my consultant put me in the room and basically said good luck. She did not help me into the dress and really just stood off to the side annoyed that I was even trying them on. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
