I just came home to my apartment and found Jim and Rons here pumping the tires on a vehicle so they could tow it. No problem. I opened my garage and sat patiently for him to get done. After filling the flat he stood there for a bit. Then without acknowledging me he got in his truck and moved it. Not giving me any chance to get around him, but going back and forth several times, even getting out to check his alignment. He had plenty of opportunity to allow me around him, but he ignored me entirely. Lots of others to call, dont expect courtesy when you call these guys.

Happened to have a truck in the area when my fuel pump went out on the semi, didnt have to go too far and the price was vary reasonable, nice truck to boot.

They came out to I29 within 30 minutes after my call.they towed my f350 crew cab and my camper back to Sioux falls. Although the driver accidentally broke my fuel line they did have the shop repair the line. I did end up using them two more times till I found a shop that could fix my truck.

They should be the #1 call at the truck wash when needed. We have a 39 diesel pusher and there was not a question that we could be helped. It is not an easy task for a tow truck driver and not safe either. I praise this man and this company. My son is very particular and said he would use no other.

I got a flat tire at 9:30 pm so I called to get my car towed (was my 2nd flat tire that day, and already had bunny tire on the car). I was told they would have someone there with in 20 minutes and they were on time. Driver was polite, professional and delivered vehicle to tire shop where he assisted me with the paperwork and securing my vehicles key drop. The price was actually lower than I expected it would be which was a great surprise. Very helpful and they went above and beyond in the customer service department. This is the place to call when you need a tow. EXCELLENT customer service. My serpentine belt went out in my car and I needed a tow. I called them and they let me know when theyd have a truck ready and gave me a price estimate which I thought was super reasonable. They were fast, efficient, and and took my car straight to the auto repair shop, and even added the fee of the towing onto my auto repair bill without me having to request that or fill out any extra paperwork. Amazing! Made a slightly stressful experience way less stressful and hassle free.

Called for a tow to a dealership for what could have been costly repairs. Instead found all I needed was a new battery. I paid for a service call, but was so thankful the young man was so honest and helpful.

Worst car towing ever. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Pls don’t go there. Look for something good. They charge me a lot almost $100 for being to sit in the car towing. Employer very rude he don’t collaborate on things with costumes.

They did a great job on our big rig. Got it off of a steep embankment without any damage. They brought two trucks to make sure they kept our asset safe. The office crew were polite and got the job done.

I came to Sioux Falls and had my car break down as soon as I got there. I gave Jim and Rons a call, and they picked up right away. I told them where I was, and a tow truck was there within 15 minutes. The driver was very friendly and extremely competent. He worked very efficiently but did not rush. The price of the tow was also much lower than I thought it was going to be!If Im ever broken down in Sioux Falls again, I know who to call!

I was driving on I-29 and there was a semi truck who was on the shoulder, I put my blinker on to merge over and started to get in the middle lane so to not cause any issues for the trucker in case they needed to wall around their truck. When I was merging thos tool comes barreling through the middle lane without so much as a care for anyones safety. I know I had my blinker on, but he forced me to not make it safe for the others on the road. When I called to make a complaint he said I was in the wrong a d he had video evidence. Well, I want to see the proof. I know I put my blinker on. Do not trust this company.EditHe was doing 80 in a 65 the whole time. He did not speed up to go around a vehicle in the left lane. He was speeding the whole time.

We bought a yellow Ford Focus last summer from Jim and Rons Auto Sales. I decided to wait and see how things played out before posting a review.First of all, Ill be straight. We got a good deal on the car, and we expected with such a low price to have to pay to fix some things. So in the end its probably a wash price wise, but with the headache of being broken down on the side of the road, probably leans in favor of it not being a good deal.Our car was advertised as a Nice running, fuel efficient car I will agree on the fuel efficiency. However, nice running is a bit of a stretch.The morning after we bought the car, the car wouldnt start. We tried jumping it, testing the battery (which was fine). It was pretty unusual since the lights and radio would work but it wouldnt turn over. After looking around and moving around some wiring, the car started back up. We spoke with a mechanic friend, and they said that it could be a loose wire going into the starter so we tightened that up.We also learned as we fiddled around with the car the CD player that was advertised did not work. Also the back drive side window wouldnt go up and down and was perpetually stuck down so a crack of window was open. We figured this was those minor issues youd have to deal with with a cheap car. (Although Im still peeved about the CD player...I commute two hours a day and thats a lot of radio time)The next day we went to drive it back home (we live a couple of hours away and were visiting in-laws when we bought it) and it died on the side of the road. We thought, eh, maybe it was the heat. I stopped the car and let it rest for a second and it started back up.This stopping starting business happened a couple of different times. Id stop at an intersection and it would die, but start back up after a few minutes of sitting there. (but not right away mind you...so you had to deal with being stuck at an intersection). Took the car into a mechanic three times. They couldnt find the problem, but did find gunky air filters and things of that nature.A month or so later, the car died on the interstate. This time it would not start again. I had to get a ride home. It felt like the car was losing power. We waited over night and it started back up. Took it into the shop and they still couldnt find the exact problem.Finally the car died and we couldnt get it to restart. We had to try a new mechanic (car broke down in different town) and had the alternator replaced. They also suggested we replace wiring because it was a complete mess. That did the trick as far as the car breaking down. The car was still kinda jerking which we found out was because the gas cap wasnt the correct one and was letting air in the tank. Those suckers are expensive for being so little!We also had the cover that covers the fuel tank fall off (thats temporarily wired on), the back passenger window is now broken and falls down (taped up), the cruise control quit working (doing without). Theres also a funny burning smell when you drive it, so I hope thats nothing big.Update on 6/6/2013: The car still is nothing but trouble. Weve had it for less than a year and are trying to sell it. The back window doesnt stay up. We have replaced the alternator, starter, gas cap and door, bumper, fender, wiring, gaskets. In fact, the gasket we had to replace, we were informed if we hadnt replaced it soon, the car would have started on fire. Thats just awesome.

I broke down near Luverne, MN, with a fuel pump issue. It took more time to get GEICO, the correct information, than to Jim and Rons to my breakdown location.The tow driver showed up within 10 minutes of the promised time, after getting a wrong location for the pickup from GEICO.He was more knowledgeable of my chassis than I was, knowing to remove the drive shaft, or risk transmission damage.He got me safely to my repair shop, and I was quite impreeive watching him back in a towed 38 foot RV into a parking spot.I tried to give him a tip for saving me, but he refused.Outstanding service!

Paid full price for 2 tows back to back after being left at a closed shop. That made me angry but it was the humiliation of having the tow company call me at the the auto repair shop and announce to the shopworker that answered the phone that I failed to pay my bill. Once I got on the phone, I was accused of giving the wrong credit card number. Come to find out, THEY missed a number. Funny as the second tow charge had gone through prior and it was the same credit card. I had also been told when I paid the second tow fee they didnt have my card number anymore as the charge had been run and shredded. The embarrassment as the garage repairman looked at me and told me I had a call from the tow company because I didnt pay was horrible. I highly recommend if you want to be embarrassed, humilitated, and seek a company out for money, not clients...call Jim & Rons Towing

Running a delivery service I have used Jim and Rons many times and have had nothing but great luck and service from them when needing a tow. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a tow.

The service is okay and they do tow 24/7, I disliked that the hours you can get your vehicle are very limited and not listed on the card they give you
