Ive always had great experiences with Northern Tool when it comes to friendly helpful staff, store selection, and online ordering and pick up. Have been a repeat customer for many years. I remember years ago before there was a store in Sioux Falls all large items had to be freight shipped from the warehouse (with freight costs) to your home. Not anymore! Thank you.

For a place that say they work on snowblower would only fix half what I wanted them to and they cant even take a tire off the rim to put a tube in the tire super unimpressed with this place

We were looking for a Milwaukee weed Wacker, but they sold us the wrong one (the two models are the same price but only one has a quick attachment). We came back one week after the initial purchase looking to purchase a pole saw attachment, but they said it wouldnt work on our weed Wacker. We then asked if we could make an exchange for the weed Wacker we thought we were buying but they refused. The only option they offered was to have us pay full price for another weed Wacker. When it comes to tool stores and customer service, Northern seems to have the worst in town. We will not be giving them our business again.

They ordered the wrong part 2 times then informed me that I had to find the correct part number and pay for the part before they would order again

Extremely unimpressed with the service and quality of work with equipment to be fixed or repaired. Got the complete run around from the new manager as his excuse for failure to handle the situation was the fact that he was new.I or my company will never purchase, quote, or have any service work done by them again.Not only were we overcharged, the product wasn’t fixed, and it was dropped off and didn’t get done for over 3 months. That’s a documented fact that the “new manager”. Did actually agree with after reviewing the computerIf at all possible please find an alternative for any products or services they claim to be able to supply.Absolutely no concern for customers and or service. With businesses operating like this we can afford them to completely shut down.

This was my fifth tool and hardware store looking for an air compressor dry and regulator. They were the only store that had what I was looking for, and a good selection of others.

Had 5 and 5, which was 5 chicken tenders and 5 wings with 2 extra sauces. Slims sauce, honey mustard, Korean bbq and sweet red chili sauce. The chicken came up hot and fast and was delicious! I liked all of the sauces but liked the sweet red chili the best! Great service! It was a little more money than a regular fast food place but the food and service were both great! I will be back to try the chicken and waffles! !

Today with all this rain, my husband called Northern Tool to see if they had a water pump. Was the 5th place he had called and the first place that wasn’t sold out of them. Since we are from out of town, they said they would hold one fort husband for 24 hours until he could come pick it up later today...& without even having to give them a credit card deposit to hold or anything. Great customer service! Thanks, Northern Tool! One of the many reason my husband loves going to your store!

Horrible customer service on July 7th, I needed a recoil for a chainsaw, had the part number and all, the young kid refused to look it up because its only something the parts guy knows, and its to complicated, excuse after excuse. Lost my business!

Refused me an online offer for $25 gift card with my purchase. Online customer service was a joke. They wouldnt give me the gift card, gave me a hassle when I asked to return the $230 saw, and on top of it all - I couldnt log back into my northern tool account after emailing them. Website is just broken, or they blocked my account. Online customer service is now unresponsive to my emails. Glad that Harbor Freight is coming to town in a few days. Will never, ever, buy from NT again. Left a complaint with the BBB for false advertising. What a joke.

Poor customer service! Ordered a small engine online because I had a $20 coupon 4 days after I ordered it no email on status. Stopped in to the store that it was going to be delivered to they told me it would be another week at least. I asked if they had one in stock, told me they did but couldnt give it to me. I called to cancel my order so I could just get the one in the store told me they couldnt cancel it until I received it and then would have to return it. Not happy with how the store and the online store work together probably wont be taking my business back to northern tool.

Great place and friendly staff. Ive done quite a bit of business with them and will continue to in the future. Their return process is fast and simple and they always seem to try and make things right. Havent ever had a problem, overall great place!

I was not impressed by their staffs knowledge on their products. They also seem to be more concerned with their sales then getting their customers the appropriate product. Next time I will just drive the extra distance to Macs tools.

Paid over $700 for a mig welder. Used it once on a 3 pipe weld, after that it wouldnt feed wire. Called the manufacturer, went thru their trouble shooting process, was told to return it for exchange. Drove 100 miles one way for them to refuse to exchange the welder or stand behind any parts because the receipt wasnt in hand, had the northern tool sku as well as date of purchase on computer, but no paper receipt so evidently no need to stand behind a product. Would be one thing if it was a $10 wrench, but a $700 welder?? Come on guys, the package has all of your identifying information as well as confirmation of purchase from your store within the warranty period, what gives???

The air hose reel I grabbed had no price on it, as I turned out it was 10 bucks more to get one that included the hose. Apparently that was too much to ask of our cashier who then became very rude. Save yourself some hassle and go somewhere else!

If you are planning on buying tools dont go here. The warranty is a pain to deal with here. At Home Depot you can just bring it back to the store. Bought a $450 milwaukee tool 6 months ago and it is not working so i call up northern tool and they were not help at all!
