They dont even deserve 1 star - especially their customer service. When I paid my bill online, I must have typed in my bank account number wrong. I was charged a $15 return check fee on my next bill, even though I was emailed a confirmation number for a successful payment. Their confirmation emails dont mean anything. They added the extra payment to the back page where its not even noticeable. When I called, I got nowhere with their representatives. Very poor customer service! If I wasnt forced to use them for electric, I would have changed companies.

Electric goes out at 5 from storm. Storm over do&l says it will be on at 6. Call back at 6 says be on at 7 call back at 7 they say 8pm call back at 830 they. Say..outage person we are dispatched n working on it. There are 200 people out. Well I guess if there are only. 200 people out and its Sunday, no one cares! This. Goes out daily a couple times for a few minutes every day and messes up appliances. They _ being dp&l needed to upgrade.! Or maybe Greene County Commissioners should do something about it. They sign contract with them..have them fix it! Oh by they way..its 12:13am and no power yet

I called in to add an address to our service. NOT an automated option (I can choose to stop current service, tranfer current service, or start a new address, but theres no way to start service at a new address without canceling service at the current address.) Pressed the most appropriate option on the automated menu and was told my wait time would be 20 minutes. It was 30. THEN was told I had the wrong department and would be transferred. Currently in the middle of another 20 minute wait. The ONLY reason Im giving you 2 stars is because the lady who answered the phone (Ernestine) was quite pleasant and patient despite my frustration. (It isnt her fault your phone system is ridiculous.)

Warning DP and L are now checking your credit without prior authorizarion andd then basing prices off of your score.And you will have to pay a deposit to even transfer service from one residence to the other.So heads up!!And DP and L Go to hell!!!!!!!
