No registers are ever open. Two sides of self checkout and only one is open so the line goes all the way across the store. When I asked the employee if they could open the other side he told me they were too short staffed. MAYBE the manager should get off their chair and open it then if they are so short staffed.Maybe if kroger paid more than minimum wage people would be willing to work.

I was in and out pretty quick. I was just needing one item for the time being.

For the most part I have no complaints. The employees are always friendly the shelves are usually stocked. But I did learn that if you shop late they close all the registers and only keep self check out open. I had $200+ worth of groceries. It peeved me a little bit but there wasnt much i could do. The worker was kind and got me a second cart to put my bagged groceries in. It wasnt horrible but just a heads up if youre like me and like to late night shop.

I’m not sure why they are calling this a grand opening, the store still has dirty nasty floors, carts are still junk, entry way still smells like mold even thought they put in new floors. The restrooms really need gutted and redone. Come on Kroger’s get your selfs together. Have been disappointed with the remodels every time. But always shop Kroger’s cause they have a great selection of gluten free and dairy free options.

I have always loved Kroger‘s now they have done their new reset instead of having a large organic produce section like they used to they cut it down to 2 foot wide section and then they’re organic products instead of being in one place altogether such as in the frozen section it is now scattered everywhere so all you do is hunt in the meat department the fresh meat behind the case has no prices on it then when you ask the price The workers are having to look up the numbers because they’re not marked in front of the meat I am very disappointed some of it is great I love the new sushi and some of the meal prep very very disappointed I will be looking for a new grocery store

The staff is friendly and the seafood department is always well stocked! Next best thing to fresh out of the ocean!

The store it’s self is fairly okay, I do not normally shop here anymore since they remodeled the place. I do not like the parking lot .BUT MY REASON FOR THE REVIEW was not the store nor the parking it was the BATHROOM. You would think a store that is supposed to be held at high standards would keep their bathrooms customer friendly , but let me tell you, the smell for one was enough to make a grown man cry, and the toilets, each and everyone had literal poop splatters on the seat on the insides and outsides. And I am supposed to let myself better yet my CHILD sit and use the potty?! Currently being Remodeled. Was definitely time for it and love the changes. Great Staff at this store. Love Kroger rewards which makes me shop almost exclusively here. Just wished the store carried more variety of my favorite brands and didn’t run out of sale items so fast (more stock on sale items).

What a joke! Everytime I get on this web site to find a product in my store in Sidney Ohio, it tells me no results found!!! Really ,so you discontinued selling cheese!?!?!?!?!?! Walmart is shady but at least their app has stuff on it! I NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM FINDING WHAT I NEED ON THEIR APP!!!

I like Sidney Kroger...but when employees are on a smoke break, they need to go behind store and smoke. Some customers are disabled that need to sit on bench out front of Kroger..they wait there for transit. Meanwhile... employees sitting there on a cigarette break and being loud and disruptive. Telling mgr does no good. Am shopping elsewhere.

Like the products, but the store needs updating. There is a nasty smell in there. Once you get past the lovely smell of Starbucks the rest of the store stinks!!!! Love the pharmacy staff!!!

I have always thought that this small town Kroger store location could be better managed.

The work environment here is so bad it’s a joke. i worked here for 6 months and the management was awful to their employees. i’m a very happy bubbly person, however, my friends and co-workers told me how they noticed that my spirit became crushed over the few months i worked there. my anxiety and depression hit its peak working there. it got so bad, one day at work, i hid in the back and bawled. save yourself and don’t work here.

Friendly+knowledgeable staff, great selection and pricing. Produce is always fresh. This is the best place around for healthy food choices and shopping for a gluten-free diet.

I went to get a money order and i get it, its being slammed by customers. But they told us they will be with us in a minute. 20 minutes go by and lady told us its closed.

Very clean, recently updated to the latest Kroger store model. The organic and grass-fed selections are the best around, short of going to a farmers market. Lines are never long, even during peak hours. Great alcohol selection as well!

Many shelves empty and disorganized. Fresh produce choices low and not fresh looking. Out of frozen salmon during Lent, of all times. Man behind seafood counter rude! Cashier pleasant.

I was looking for hot dog buns & didnt see any the shelf.A young man who was restocking bread asked what I was looking for.Hot dog buns I replied..I dont see any here.He stopped,looked for himself then said NopeI dont either,then walked away.Not exactly the help I was expecting or got.

We organized our items cold and not. The scanner threw them everywhere after scanning them. Our bagger didnt pay any attention to what she put where. We had frozen with non and chips with heavy items on them and in the same bag. Both looked and acted like they did not want to be there.

As someone who normally would not leave a negative review, I feel as though this is the only way to get across my dissatisfaction with this particular store and management. Very disappointing experience and unfortunately poor store management behind it all.

Kroger in Sidney has a very poor selection of items. Normally out of most popular items. Store is dirty, everywhere, especially bathrooms! We do major shopping at the Troy location

For the Liquor store - the main girl has terrible attitude and extremely unpleasant to deal with. I arrived as they were going through a delivery and she told me to that she didnt feel like looking through anything specific, which is fine, and told me to come back in an hour.Come back and everything rare has been sold off. So she didnt want to pull anything for me, just for her friends. Very unprofessional

I was shopping there and as I was walking out, I heard a manager speaking very rudely to a woman. He was threatening to call the police on her accusing her of being a pan-handler, the woman was also carrying a baby and she was from what I could hear simply asking an employee about directions to a Walgreens . Very rude man, it makes me not want to shop there much anymore because the man was very mean and embarrassed the woman to the point of having her in tears as she walked away. I then approached her outside and helped her with what she needed and found out that she was looking for directions to get to collect a money gram to help get her family home.

Standing in line 10 carts deep 2 lanes open. Updated 3.6.19. This location has gone down hill,...rotten produce, no carts, no baggers, empty shelves.Update 9/11/19 Cashier on cell phone making me wait to purchase groceries. Stocking seems to be slacking at this Kroger. I have been in here several times the past month with items missing; strawberries, chocolate milk, oatmeal, broccoli, etc. I dont have time to stop twice a week. Guess Ill brave the wrath of walmart. Hope management notices this post.

This store has been on a down hill slide for a few months now. Seems to only be the Sidney Krogers...been to Troy, Marysville, Piqua, and Bellefontaine and they are all very well stocked and have very good service. Last visit to Sidney the produce was pitiful and check out clerk tried double charging me 3 different times by accident but I should trust they would catch that a little better. Also the clerk tore open my bag that had broccoli in it to ring it up and thought that was ok to do! Why would that be acceptable? Wont be back.

Overall this is something great family store for all your grocery needs. Along with a pharmacy and photo lab you can not go wrong.

I understand when doing a remodel moving things but it seems this Kroger likes to move things every 6 months or so literally as soon as you learn the location boom bread is now where pasta was and so on. Store could be cleaner. Staff is friendly which is a plus.

Decent selection and a clean store, but it is always an inconvenience when I shop there. Long lines, few registers open, and honestly the prices on most comparable items are way higher than local competitors.

I come here weekly & spend plenty of money! I usually have no issues, maybe out of stock once in a while but that happens. Today I go in get my grocery’s , mind you this was about my 5th and final errand of the day & I was thinking in and out! Didn’t pay attention to lanes only those shortest. I see a lady who looks familiar as I come here often so my thoughts are “oh she’s pretty quick I’ll go through her lane” well as she starts ringing up she expresses is this all one order, I say yes it is. Puzzled still , thinking why is she asking me this. I’m like yes this is mine. She then says this is an express lane, I don’t have a bagger ect ect. Angry as it appears I apologize, truly didn’t even realize it or pay attention as I usually do! Was an honest mistake! I bagged my own grocery’s and apologized again ! As she crushed all my grocery’s together! By that point I really should have just left the stuff and walked out! RUDE!! I can tell you this! I’ll make a point to NEVER go through her lane again! Even if i have 1 item!! Was no need for the rudeness! You need a vacation & some get right!

Went early, thought I would miss the crowd, , , had to put on a happy attitude and breath deeply, Sunday morning , very busy, check-out was crowded, they opened a new lane to help with the business, overall a usual visit 😀

Not fond of the layout but that could be a standard with Kroger’s. Bathrooms are beyond disgusting - it’s a shame some of the profits aren’t to improve the store - hopefully the staff don’t have to use those - dirtier than any gas station bathroom ever. Wouldn’t even allow my child to use them 😱

I went in with a $30 Western Union money order from KY where I sold some items. The money order was purchased AT A KROGER. Cashier said they couldnt cash it because it was from KY! Yes it came from a Kroger in KY...what the heck is the problem???? Just plain STUPID

Rude and unfriendly employees everywhere. They must be stressed out there, because no one smiles, or treat you friendly or with respect. Always a struggle to go there, and their parking lot is horrendous.
