My bf and I recently had spa treatments at the Great Stone Castle. Following the spa we were both in need of caffeine and some food!!! This place prevailed. High grounds is a simple place in the small town of Sydney that serves up some amazing tasty authentic coffee and wonderful snacks. 😊 ☕

I’m so happy to have discovered this place! I drive through the area frequently to visit family and have always wished there was a good coffee shop to stop at. I ordered a couple breakfast sandwiches, a ham and cheese panini (which was SO good!) Ice coffee and some goodies to try at home. I plan to make this a regular stop

I come in pretty much every day to get a Carmel Cooler & Peanut Butter Mocha Iced Coffee! They are perfect every single time! The Ladies that work there [mom & daughter] as so personable! Always smiling and always making sure we are taken care of to the fullest! I am so glad that I started coming here because Im so hooked & do not venture anywhere else to get coffee!!!💯☕🍮🥇

I like this restaurant! They provide marvelous food, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that restaurant is a real authority in the kitchen, I like a lot trying all their dishes. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the visitors is agreeable. I often go to this place and I was never discontended. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stop by on our way home from exercising at the Senior Center. It is a lovely place with lovely people ❤️ They make a variety of drinks including coffees, teas, and smoothies. They also serve breakfast foods, pastries, and lunch goods. There is a room on the side that can be reserved for small groups or parties. The music is not too loud😀 We want to support all businesses in our community, and we really enjoy this small coffee shop/ cafe.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place and they deserve more stars if I could. A friendly small local cafe, I havent had the coffee but if its as good as the food youll be blown away. This business seems to really know what they are doing. The location is just out of the way so its not terribly busy even at rush times, the interior is very homey and welcoming. Everything is delicious and very well portioned for the price. All the food is very well crafted and just the right amount of simple. I highly recommend going here for tea and a sausage egg and cheese breakfast bagel at any time of the day.

High Grounds Cafe is the BEST! I LOVE the local business with DIRECT TRADE coffee, friendly staff, Christian based with great values and cheerful spirits. Not only is their coffee quality, their food is delicious as well. I cant wait for Fall SOUPS to return. Theyre SUPERB! Yum. :)

My wife and I have coffee here almost every time we visit Sidney. There was very little bacon on the BLT so I dont recommend that, but the chicken salad is always good and the cafe itself is exactly what you hope to find in a local coffee shop. Also the warmed up cheese danish was to die for.

Had to try out the new chompers(just got implant from the dentist) and stopped for breakfast. GREAT coffee and an even better story! Definitely stop of your thinking about it!!

I cant say enough good things about this place. They have some of the best coffee & tea in this area, their baked goods & sandwiches are divine & I absolutely love the decor! Visit them once & I promise you will be coming back for more.

Spent 45 minutes in the drive thru. At this point I’m not interested in any coffee so I just left. Watched multiple customers go in an out ahead of me. What’s the point of the convenience of a drive thru if you don’t prioritize those customers in the least bit. Even grumpier about it because they have great coffee.

High Ground is my favorite place to go! Yummy coffee for a great purpose. They sell Direct Trade coffee which helps to provide more than a fair wage to the coffee farmers. Going to High Grounds is not just about a cup of coffee, but knowing that my money is helping to make a difference and not helping to feed the injustices happening in the coffee trade business. I highly recommend the vanilla latte and the chicken salad sandwich :)

Just two words: Amazing Donuts. The best donuts Ive ever had in the world are served here.

THIS PLACE SUXGreat place if you want to be ignored. Went in for the first time. The man at the register just stood there then turned and walked away. Two girls in the back just looked at me. After several minutes i turned around to leave as i exited one of them said have a good day. I guess i did not look yuppie enough. Oh well i only eat out 10 times a week. Plenty of places that like my money.
