They have the best deli in town. Theirs pizza are also very good. Great organic selections. They also donate foods to local foods bank to prevent foods from going to waste. The quality of the products that they sold at pcc are nothing but the best. They also support local business owner. I love pcc. It’s more expensive but you’re paying that your pay for.

Always nice and clean. Great selection of options at reasonable prices. The pizzas are some of my favorites.

Great place to find quality organic produce and environmentally safe products. Children get one fruit free and membership actually has its privileges. You can take cooking classes here as well. The pizza bar and burrito station is a great place for a quick healthy meal.

Clean store, nice hot food bar, parking can be a little rough at this location but thats just mostly at busy shopping hours.

I grew up in Seward Park and my family has been shopping at PCC for the past 20 years all the way back to when it was a tiny neighborhood store off Wilson. We’ve gotten to know many of the workers and have consistently appreciated the service and food quality. when our Wilson location expanded and moved to Columbia City we have continued to support. Yet for some reason my now elder mother consistently tells me that the same blonde woman cashier is consistently and unnecessarily rude to her and makes her feel like she’s moving too slow whenever she’s there. It would be one thing if this was a one off but this is the 6th time she has told me this since the pandemic started and now prefers me to do her grocery shopping for her because of the unpleasantness. I understand that life is hard for grocery store workers but there has to be a point where the 60 plus population shouldn’t consistently have added anxiety (in an already stressful pandemic) about their local grocery store.

PCC in Columbia City is my community store. They have a new Meat Manager, Chris who is amazing! You have a choice of many pre pared meals ready on hand. Everyone there is Great! Thank you for wonderful service!

Disappointed the coffee/ smoothie station is closed. No explanation. Just a wall of fizz water. This used to be such a nice place with a real community ambience. Self check-out out adds to the mean, unfriendly corporate feel that seems like pccs new normal. All the staff-eapecially in the deli area- seem oppressed and unhappy. The boss man prowling around glaring in that area has harsh overseer vibes. The staff here used to seem much happier.

One of the best PCCs in Seattle! It’s a big store, with all their great food. Went there yesterday for a slice of pizza, it was really good! The park next to it is really convenient too!

Store is nice, employees are polite and the food is good. Only issue I have is some of the shoppers have a feeling of entitlement and will kick your car when they have a tantrum.

This is mostly a good grocery store. I would say they lack some variety in the health foods section. For example, no broccoli sprouts. Their prepared foods are great but not very many vegan options.

One of my favorite grocery stores for hard to find items. I cant give 5 stars because everything is bland, I swear they use no salt when cooking anything there, especially the soups. I wish the hot food was better options.

I love this PCC! The store is clean, the employees are amazing and always willing to help and theres ample parking. I also love that its generally not over- crowded.

Love the layout and location, tucked into the neighborhood. Lots of quick bites from both the hot bar and the cold section. Everything we tried was tasty and fresh.

Its a shame that you want to have something warm, and the staff take 10 minutes to warm up a sandwich!!!

Its an awesome atmosphere, very eclectic and everybody seems to have a cheery and upbeat personality/attitude, the only drawback is its pretty expensive if you are on a budget, If you dont calculate as you put items in your cart (hand basket), by the time you get your receipt youre going to be very astonished, thats the only drawback. Id say the pros outweigh the one con if you can afford it.

I live above it, great selection but very expensive. They took away self checkout though which has made lines often awful, if you need to employ more people find other ways to do it don’t take things AWAY from your customers

Pretty dang pricy and their first aid is limited to two different kinds of band aids (the rest is homeopathic medicine [edit:] when I needed some basic gauze, tape, and hydrogen peroxide for my knee), but they have some pretty good stuff otherwise.

Her stellar customer service and professionalism is a big asset to your business. Secondly, I want to commend & also express my appreciation to your staff at the deli for their hard work in preparing the food. I have found the food at your location especially the hot bar rice to be better prepared, better in taste and available more often than the burien location to which I have been going to since its opening. But I am now a fan of your location in Columbia and a regular visitor since the last two weeks

Very clean. Helpful staff. The produce is fresh and beautiful. This pcc has a lovely park in front in which one can picnic. The bulk selection is very good. The roasted chicken is delicious!

For a building this size, youd think it would have a lot of stuff. But this pcc is actually small compared to others. But they have good hot and deli food, along with pizza. Staff is plentiful and helpful. So cant complain

Unfortunately Ive stopped shopping in there. The staff is mostly rude and condescending and indifferent at best. For the prices they charge youd think they would train their staff better.... Prefer McPhersons for produce and Bobs for meat.

The place is HUGE. (Im used to the old West Seattle location, and before that, View Ridge and the ancient store #1 in the 70s.)The deli is spacious (taqueria station!), so much natural light in the classroom and along the registers, wide aisles (one or two support pillars but still room for carts on both sides). Glorious! Not for everyones price point of course, but also a great side line on day-old wrapped sandwiches & baked goods to the local food bank.

They sell foods that are ready to expire with indicating them as such. Bought frozen pizza that had mold on it, which was not obvious until I got it home.

Clean and well stocked store. Everything looked so fresh! I had their breakfast burrito which was delicious! This was my first time in a PCC and didnt disappoint. Will be back again :))

PCC does not keep their parking lot safe. They tolerate an increasing number of increasingly-loud and increasingly-aggressive panhandlers in the parking lot. None of them wear masks and some of them routinely spit all over the place. PCC frontline staff and PCC management are both aware of this and are clearly not taking the issue seriously.

Judy, in the wine section, is one of the best around. Both super knowledgable and an integral part of the community.

Curious. Why do you place dots down the aisle to separate customers 6ft yet other customers whom are still shopping bump into or become very close while passing. Also the mushrooms have tongs that aren’t being sanitized between uses. Last, how are masks effective? Let’s say I have COVID and don’t know or someone who does know they have it but doesn’t care, touch the groceries by placing them in a cart and then on the belt. The cashier and the bagger both touch the same product and then they both have COVID passing it on to everyone else after. I want to shop for groceries but these are my concerns. Can you please elaborate on why the safety measures in place are safe? Because it’s not making any sense

Fantastic location, space, and layout! Always very helpful and friendly staff. Their deli sandwiches are delicious as well as their baked goods (both PCC and from Macrina). Super love that their entire fresh produce section is organic with origin information. They also carry a bigger selection of alternative dairy compared to Whole Foods and other grocers which we appreciate; highly recommend their sheep yogurt and local goat milk products.

Despite the virus climate, the staff has been able to maintain a regular flow of fresh and high-quality produce that is not common among its competitors.For the most part the inventory and cashier clerks are friendly, and the store managers made great effort to protect them and the store patrons with check out shields and designated cleaning professionals for the shopping carts.I would say the weakness is the parking with its narrow-spaces and limited availability-- my car was hit by a woman pushing her cart. Also, some of the Deli/Meat area handlers are abrasive and seem disengaged from customers.

Since moving to columbia city i have frequented the pcc.location is great and the store is amazing.special props to the lady that makes the pizza in the evening.had a late night pizza that she made for me special for me after visiting a local brewery and it knocked my socks off!!PCC RULES!!

I want to like it, and Ive tried, but it doesnt do it for me. 😟🍕The PCC soap is a great value especially considering how high quality it is and its a local product. Highly recommend!

I love PCC! Aside from wholesome groceries and holistic household and health products, the staff are cordial and very helpful. My favorite grocery store in all of Seattle. Trader Joes in Burian and Bellevue run a close second.

Lived here my whole life. PCC is a different place since I’ve grown up. Doesn’t have such a “Co-op” feel anymore.

Every Single person working there right now should be given a huge bonus.Nearly every time I go into the store, all check stands are full of people with full carts.The staff takes extra precautions to be sanitary, and they all somehow manage to do their job without a scowl on their faces.We all need these workers right now. I just hope PCC is planning to reward them during this time.

Walking in after Parking underneath PCC and seeing the large spacious building with pleasantly decorated glass sculptures makes you question if you visiting a glass museum or if your grabbing groceries. But thankfully as you walk in you are left to explore the fresh produce, organic chicken, and many options for household necessities like body soap. If its a consumable PCC will probably have it. The prices are a bit high but you can get your hands on some really nice products.

They dont have coke. I was thirsty for my favorite beverage. Went in to PCC. Looked and looked. Finally asked and was informed that one of the worlds most popular soft drinks is not carried by PCC. I left thirsty and disappointed.

Love my local PCC. Shopped during their restricted hours, and felt safe! Our bulk and organic stash was running low.

Im really grateful to people who are preparing meals and cooking food there. I personally dont cook as much at home. And for me their hot bar is a wonderful alternative for takeout. Interesting recipes, huge selection. Homemade, comfort food.

I felt really unsafe when I shopped here a week or two ago. Only about half of the employees were wearing masks, and behind the meat counter about five employees were in close contact, none wearing masks.For now, I do not feel safe shopping here. The PCC in West Seattle seems to do a much better job.

Love this grocery store! I recommend it for people that like to eat very healthy. Most of the food if not all is organic and local. Be ready to spend quite a lot of money if you are planning on buying all your groceries there. Be aware you are paying on the quality of the products they sell. I dont recommend to buy fruit there due to how expensive it is. For a fast and healthy lunch this is the perfect place!

This place has the most delicious deli foods. I like to come here for chocolate as well, lots of different varieties. Very clean and environment friendly place. I found out you can even compost their food containers.

I feel like the staff is actually really nice and helpful. They have a lot of really good organic options. They have a decent selection for all your needs, they have a beauty section, a clothing and Body Care section, a great produce selection, and Seafood and Meat selection. They also have soups that they make and prepare and sandwiches as well. Its like a fancy Safeway.

My favorite store in seattle. The staff here are great and treat me like a local. Some remember my name, my coffee order and have even developed friendships with them because I frequent here. I cant afford to get all my food from this place, but, those are life goals. The produce here is always fantastic and well kept along with carefully placed. I absolutely love the local products and bulk. If Im ever curious about a certain item they will cut it up on the spot and let me try it. Sam B, Nygel, and Kyle along with the coffee guy Zak are some of the employees that make me want to keep coming back here.

PCC has great groceries, good pizza, and solid coffee. But its just absurd how expensive everything is.

A staple in the life of a construction worker is finding a good place to pick up coffee in the morning which you can depend on. And PCC has become that for me- a place which has consistent good drip coffee that I can rely on in my daily routine. It doesnt matter what time I stop in, they are constantly maintaining both coffee and fresh food which makes things so hassle-free and time efficient. The only critique is the limited parking space outside. They do have underground parking, but driving a utility truck/work van prohibits me from parking and thus rely on the limited spaces outside which can be difficult [but that further testifies of how good PCC is]

Best health food store to me. Compared to others that Ive shopped at, their prices are competitive. The deli is fabulous lots of great choices and lets not forget the taste, very flavorful. Great customer service, I know a few of them but name thats always fun when they know your name too. Shop PCC you will be pleased.

Great variety of produce (bruising is none to minimal), meat, and pantry items. They do a nice job of providing a large selection of organic, non gmo products, and stay local when available. They put a lot of thought and research into curating what goes on their shelves so you can feel good about what your buying. Wide variety bulk spice section and bulk dried goods section. Large deli selection perfect for stopping by to grab lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely grassy field adjacent to store. Pricing is fair and reasonable. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking.

Im a regular here.Good produce, they label where things are coming from and help you find local stuff. Good specialty and organic selections. Tasty prepared foods.It is smaller and has more of a local feel than Whole Foods, but otherwise is pretty similar.Not cheap. But hey, farmers got to make a living too, right?I believe PCC promotes good brands and Im willing to pay a premium for that.

The store is very similar to Whole Foods or a Sprouts in California. The vegetables and fruit looked excellent. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Lack of a store greeting took away a star from this review.
